The only thing missing from this idyllic scene is a good dog. He'll let you know when you need to be alert, he'll keep you warm at night and he'll shower you with love and affection in between. They pull their own weight and their company is peaceful and secure. I've spent a lot of nights in the bush in my 70 yrs, and all the best trips were with my dogs. They kept the bears away, the cold away and the isolation away. Who could ask for more.
I don't know if it's just me, but there's something so beautiful about the sound of an axe strike echoing through the trees. really enhances the feel of isolation.
If you're reading this, I hope that day comes real soon where your wildest dreams come true. Where you finally feel that you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. May you lead a life full of positivity and greatness. You got this.
Nothing quite like camping in a storm, not that I've ever done it in a shelter like this, but I have a big two room tent, with a silver roof, we had a thunder storm on Christmas day a couple of years ago. Wow, the lightning through that silver roof was spectacular.
Life in all its purity, the way it was meant to be lived. You are so fortunate my friend. I was born in London, 38 years later I am still here surrounded by noise and concrete. Wishing you all the best👍🏼
Pretty much the same for me, born and raised in London nearly 30 years now and can't wait to get out do something like this! Scotland/Wales would be a great location 👌🏽
I have watched many of your videos now and like that you use trees already down and not kill living trees. Your ideas and camps are great, Thank You for showing us bits of your life.
You should set up an A shape shelter...not a flat roof shelter like that as when it's raining, the rain water will get stuck on the roof and eventually drop in on you...those who go camping in the rainforest will definitely set up an A shape shelter..
Its good to see youngsters like this not glued to the xbox all the time but actually going out there and developing real skills. Very cool vid... Thanks for sharing!

Well you could do the same if your parents have a backyard close to a wooded area. Just put your sneakers on and go out in the snow and pretend you are surviving in the Alaskan wild.
To everyone who reads this: Everything is good in this very moment. Think about that. In this second, there is nothing to worry or think about. It's the perfect time to relax and enjoy how comfortable your bed is. 😊
Watching this video calms my restless spirit, the scenery is tranquil and busy with a chorus of chirping denizens. This is just the place I could wait out any kind of storm, kudos on a excellent tutorial on survival.
I liked that you used available material from the forest rather than do heavy destruction to nature as seen in other survival videos. Your camp is so close to nature. I also love the mjölnir amulet around your neck.
This was so relaxing to watch. Not only are you an experienced woodsman from the looks of it, but the combination of excellent audio and cinematography creates a truly immersive experience. Made it feel like I was right there along for the journey. :)
Okay.. ...... For most of the video his sweater has no snow on it but his hat does. That proves that he takes off a coat for the video shots... In case you did not understand that of course.... I have seen him struggle using a box of matches and use 3 matches at once instead of 1. I have seen him leave the only piece of structure he has "his sled" and not use it as part of the shelter like the door or as basic insulation. You do not carry a cast iron pan around with eggs because of weight. Eggs come in there own pan. And most of all someone should not go camping for 3 days with no tent and film it because people will try to do it and get killed. The world is not a joke and should not be treated as such. Wow no facial hair grows in 3 days? You must keep the camera on motion detection for battery life for 3 days or carry a solar panel or batteries for when you make a tent out of sticks. Or you crawl around and than set up a camera than crawl back in and than out of your stick house for video like you are staging the moon landing or something. Build your house out of bricks not straw. You have theses people believing you and they may go try to sleep in a bush......... And they will get sick or die.

First - you could put the cover in a curved way to get rid of the rain. Second - you have a lot of wood to make the best shelter and place for the fire good luck
A lil tip for when not in the snow , always scrape the ground inside your fireplace , you can create a natural small wall of dirt that should prevent loose wood rolling out the fire and causing a wild fire . Then place rocks on and around your small mound , i usually have one or two gaps in this small dirt wall to allow oxygen from the sides to feed the fire
