This video is incredibly detailed and knowledgeable and I'm watching it for second time. Wonder why it got so less views. I was hoping to understand why my volume increases automatically and the volume bar stays popped up on the screen and power button short click doesn't work (although long press to restart the phone works). The popped up volume bar usually goes away when I touch the home button on screen. Any idea what might be causing this? The phone is 2 years old but it started a year back, I was just too busy to take it to service center.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but if the screen is staying off maybe your proximity sensor is covered and is thinking your face is to the phone so it keeps the screen off. Check the sensor see if anything is wrong with it

My moto one power (1yr old) display is 50% broken but still works nicely should I use the phone in such condition or the broken screen should be replaced! Can I insert tempered glass in such condition!?
Hi, its up to you, but the broken glass can get worse or cut your finger when using if its bad enough. You can place a tempered glass over but it would sit flush and would have bubbles or air underneath it since the screen glass is broken.

But now they are telling that an IC got short and waiting for the spare. What to do ?. Help me please
Hi, not sure since I am not too familiar with electrical engineering to be able to help you there. If replacing the battery did not fix the issue, then ya your best bet would be to wait and see if that short is fixed from whoever told you that was the problem. Also make sure your using an original charger to prevent possible damage caused by the charger itself.

yes, there is the chance of damaging the screen, but since this screen has a plastic boarder around it, its easier to pry off and doesn't pose as big a risk to damage it compared to other phones.

Hi, I don't keep the phones I sell them after I am done to recoup costs for future videos :). You can find parts for this phone on mobiledefenders.com or on other sites.
Battery is held down with adhesive, so you need to use a hair dryer or something else to heat the front part of the phone where the screen is so you can warm up the adhesive underneath the battery to loosen it up. Then you use a plastic pry tool to gently pry the battery off (keep in mind not to pierce the battery or bend it too much to avoid risk of it shorting or catching fire etc.).
yes many people are having or reporting that issue. Motorola says its a gradient setup with the software for the navigation keys. If it is so, hopefully they will make an update to the software to give people the option to turn it off or on.

Hi, yes and yes. You can do it without a heat gun but might be harder to pry open. Also you need to disassemble the phone to get to the battery.
