My brother and his wife do the best they can to raise their kids in the proper Christian way. They don’t force anything on anyone else, they don’t pass judgement. We were all together with my nieces and nephews watching the opening ceremony. We had to turn it off. My brother just turned to me, “is there anything we could watch as a family on cable anymore”. I've watched the Olympics Ceremonies for over many, many years and this was the worst opening festival of the nations I've ever witnessed. This was shameful.
The same parents who think it's okay to take their kids to drag queen story hour or drag celebrations at bars. They used to say we were making it up until multiple videos surfaced. Now they just fall back on the tired excuse of us being bigoted... When all we want to do is protect children from this nonsense. Drag is adult entertainment. Children should not be near it. Children should not witness it. I don't understand why this is a controversial stand to take in 2024. Just a few years ago this would have been common sense.

My brother and his wife do the best they can to raise their kids in the proper Christian way. They don’t force anything on anyone else, they don’t pass judgement. We were all together with my nieces and nephews watching the opening ceremony. We had to turn it off. My brother just turned to me, “is there anything we could watch as a family on cable anymore”. I honestly don’t think there is.

While I support LGBTQ+ rights, I wish they would keep their sexuality private, as well. It’s one thing to be who you are and love who you love. This was in poor taste at best, misrepresentative of the population of the France or any other country, offensive to Muslims and Christians, and, at worst, blasphemous.
