If theyre planning on doing popular poses i wonder if well get one with shinji in the chair XD
Airbrushing clear matte coat for the finishing touches. So her hair and uniform becoming a smooth, less glossy pvc figure. 😁 Also thin round clear resin gel to shine her her eyes.
Plamax doing a great job recently. Loved what they did with power. Definitely something to practice painting on.
I'm really digging these kits Plamax are putting out. Does anyone know, is this one based on a pre-existing figure like the Evangelion ones of Asuka and Mari are?
Also, I wish they would put some branding to this "line." Right now without anything to tie them together the four kits announced/released so far seem like... well, like they're not tied together in any way. Like Plamax are just deciding on a whim to make this figure into a plamo kit or that 3D model into a plamo kit or someone just really wants to design this character in this pose as a model kit, etc. Are they even the same size, either in absolute terms or in scale terms?
Ive been waiting for someone to review this! Thank you! I love Makima 😍
By the way, dunno if Zach'll see this or not, but a small PSA to everyone: It seems Bandai are omitting the cardboard photo inserts from re-prints of their old MG kits now. I bought a Dec 2022-production MG Ground GM from USAGS, and it came without an insert, and the front profile photo has been moved to the back of the manual, placed next to the rear profile photo. It's not a big deal, I don't think, but just something you might want to keep aware of.
Thanks for the PSA.
That's a shame, those were cool. I also miss the detailed frame illustrations from older MG manuals, dunno why they don't bother with those on newer kits
Most of her iconic poses in the manga are poses like this which is in character for Makima. I watch alot of bishoujo and garage kit paint and builds and it is preferred to have flat surface for eyes. That is my observation.
this looks better than her prize figs i feel like
I think just hitting this kit with a Matte topcoat would really help with the face looking a little flat. It just looks a bit notable in combination with that shiny plastic
Any idea if there's an english translation of the instructions? I'd like to get the Power model kit but I'm afraid of doing something wrong because I couldn't read a warning or specific direction
Denji is barking as we speak.
Hi, I’d like to ask if you think this is a suitable kit for someone who has never assembled garage kits before? Are there any specific tools you will need? Thanks!
Yes, absolutely! The nice thing about this is that it’s essentially like a garage kit but rather than being made from resin it’s made from plastic. This means it’s cheaper and more beginner friendly to work with
Do you need glue or do they kinda just snap together?
@@seedooo5315no glue required for this kit, but it might be a good idea just to make sure nothing gets lost if the models falls on the floor or something
For a split second I thought thats the one from dodomo studio D:
woof woof
put it in the jar
Its Kobayashi without glasses.
bark bark woof woof
ITS all find and Dandy until it got posessed 👻
Is she edible?
I feel an urge to bark, dunno why, that’s pretty weird
Hear me out
Honestly I would rather buy the prize figures than this. Since between the price figure and this kit her pose didn't have many different.
Nayuta is better 😂
