The reason why I love FEATR, it's because it's not only sharing delicious food to the viewers, but the culture of Filipinos. Great work!

I really hope that Filipinos, especially the younger generation support and appreciate these types of vlogs/vloggers rather than crappy content creators na puro kalokohan, bardagulan, bastusan, murahan, etc. ang content. Way to go @ErwanHeusaffe @FEATR! Thank you for these videos. Dati, foreigners pa ang pumupunta dito sa atin to feature our culture, ngayon, nandyan na kayo.

This show feels like our local version of "Parts Unknown" by the late Anthony Bourdain. I'm so happy that Taal's local delicacies were featured especially at the time and age where fastfood chains have (sadly) gained a strong foothold of the local food industry. During my childhood days in Batangas eating pancit and lomi was such a treat. It wasn't just a mere gastronomical experience but more like a cultural and social one too. This episode made me feel both nostalgic and proud of my Batangueno roots. Salamat FEATR!

True,,I was once working in my Tatay's pancitan there and how I loved to talk and mingle with people from all walks of life sharing lots of interesting stories..I missed the old market ,where I was playing and asking some other delicacies, like suman malagkit, bibingka, suman sa lehiya mixed with organic chocolate drink, maja blanca etc. in exchange of Tatay Biko's pancit.. We were using warm lights and candles back then..

Erwan and his team are brilliant storytellers! Erwan has a gift for knowing how to captivate our attention by naturally connecting with the local people in each province and giving them the platform to share their stories. I love how they can showcase any ordinary place such as the palengke/marketplace and give us a deeper appreciation for the people behind the produce, products, and food!

Thanks Erwan and Featr Team for featuring our lovely town of Taal and the food we grew up with! That lagayan ng pancit na stainless and the way they tap it and get the pancit was a style of Ka Biko … I can still remember his face and his old store inside the previous or old market ng Taal (yes, nasunog ang palengke before hence its all renovated)nice one captured nyo lahat how we start our day back in 90’s pa galing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️ Sana ay na feature din how we eat the tapa and its with tawilis and tsokolate (batirol) sa kanin lalo na ang sinaing na tulingan -the best!

You are just so humble Erwan ,a good example to follow.. just raw and authentic vlog. Kudos to you and your professional crew . My sister is so comfortable being interviewed by Harold. He must be a great guy!;) Thank you for featuring my Tatay's Pancit and tamales. Thank you so much for giving justice to how it should be presented, in a very authetic way. Lots of Taaleños knew my Tatay Biko,,, and thank you to his adoptive parents and mentor's who gave him all the the knowledge He acquired through the years.. to all of our "SUKI"from different generations and specially to MR. DINDO MONTENEGRO , director of Taal Tourism , thank you so much for being a good friend of my Tatay.God bless them all.

Nice to see him trying out first hand what ordinary Filipinos are having and also knowing and appreciating the history and culture behind every food from every town. Some food even if he won't say it , you know that he probably didn't like or not totally blown away by it but still gave a respectful description of it. Other food content creators will just eat and give superficial reviews but his contents have shown more than that. Pure respect man

As someone from Batangas (and also loves tapang taal), this documentary made me so happy ❤ I enjoyed seeing you explore the flavors of Taal while connecting with the locals. This video also made me realize that I still have a looot of food to try in Taal, especially the pansit! But, as always keep up the great content! The story-telling and quality of this video amazes me, it’s like a food documentary that I would watch on Netflix!

Erwan, im not sure if you noticed it but you cant find any outside commercial establishment there in Taal except the lone 7-11 near the church. No Jollibee, McDonalds, none. They made it that way to preserve and highlight the local food they have there. That's why from time to time i drive there just to eat out(i am living just a couple of municipalities away in Taal). That's one of my favorite place in Batangas, to be honest.
