    I have been really struggling with mental health lately. See, I have been a long distance runner for 6 years. In this time, I have gone from the bottom of the xc team, to being varsity in track my 8th grade year, and high jv (sometimes running with varsity during workouts) my freshman xc season. The end of my freshman year was when the struggles came back (they started 8th grade xc), and I have lost all the speed I had. It has really taken a toll on my mental health. Today was an especially rough day. Im typically pretty good at keeping my emotions in check around others, but today during practice I nearly had a breakdown. I have a 5k tomorrow, so hopefully that goes well.
    The hardest part is seeing these other girls who were minutes behind me just a few years ago now being minutes faster than me. And for some reason it seems when I was fast, nothing was really said about anyone doing well, but now that others are, it’s all I hear.
    In other words, I get the general struggle of mental health (this is one of my many issues lol), even if I dont know exactly what you are going through.
    Also thank you for this, I dont know, I just really needed to hear smth like this to lmk im not alone ❤
