I am looking for good beach destination inside Tanzania that isn’t Zanzibar, with more preserved wild beaches without too many, but still some hotels and accommodation, that isn’t too difficult to get to without having to hire taxi or private transfer. Kilwa seems good option. Thanks for showing,

Try pangani beaches in Tanga, kilwa beaches and also lake nyasa and lake Tanganyika beaches. All in Tanzania.

I'm jealous of you-- you know why?! Kilwa is in Lindi Region, and I'm a native of Lindi though born, raised, and live in Dar es Salaam. Though I'm from Lindi and Kilwa is one of Lindi's districts; I've never been to Kilwa even once-- anyway, once when we'd a stopover to Mafia Island.
I've been telling myself I'll make a trip to Kilwa but never made one.
NB: I said I was in Kilwa once when we'd a stopover to Mafia Island, a'ight?! Then I'd advise you to take a trip to Mafia, and thank me later coz' I'm very certain you won't be disappointed.

​@@KajaKubicka we (wife, 3 adults kids and I = 5 in total) have our tickets on our hands for end of May to Kilimanjaro with no booking for hotel and or guide for Mount Kilimanjaro yet! Question is: do we book all those booking before landing in Tanzania or once we are in there? Thx ( I just need your opinion).
