"Her husband must be an absolute moron if he was cheating on a broad like this." Glad to hear that Private Eye lingo has remained consistent since 1930.
Downright creepy. Also that sentence about "choosing more wisely" is pure victim blaming. How was she supposed to know something like this would happen to her? Oh right she's a rich woman. That's enough in our society. 💃🏻
well that's the point, such things are also strange in the third world. Actually, I think they are even more so, given that we're mostly just ignorant, lazy catholics, while the US seems to have so many cults.
Mexico has its quirks, but at the end of the day its still a very average country, and I can speak on behalf of it because my area is really dull and quiet, the most annoying thing that can happen is a neighbor having the great idea of having a karaoke on a Friday night (and we can just call the cops on them and stop as soon as they see them because its illegal to be loud after 11pm) there's been like 2 robberies (over the course of about 10 years) but I mean, that shit is inevitable.
That solano story is scary asf like seriously that is creepy to realize that stuff like that happens normally without people knowing. I probably would of shit my pants if I saw a cult in action.
damien grant A friend of mine said in her town no one approached the beach after 11 pm because a cult would always choose a random spot to do rituals in the moonlight sacrificing animals and shit. Everyone in town knew about it but no one confronted them
Hate to break it to you, but that story was fake as fuck... Literally all of the stories on here are. Unless they are backed up with "here's the local newspaper article about the kidnapping" or "heres what the police did after they found the killer", otherwise they're fake. The story even includes a line that says "No information about the Solanos can be found online" why do you think that is? Because this cult is soooo super influential and powerful that they can scrub the internet of *_ALL_* the information regarding an entire family? Or do you think that some aspiring author was practicing his skills on random strangers with the internet equivalent to an open-mic night at a bar? Yes it's a spooky story, but that's all it is.
@@TheBlarggle take it you never heard of Mark Kilroy, then? It was a pretty well documented case and gained coverage in the press; you can find out quite a bit about it online. The long and short of it was some Mexican Cartel leader running a cult involving human sacrifice and wearing white paint, and a shootout at a hotel I think it was, resulting in the cartel/cult leader's eventual death.
awwww private detective stories were always my favorite, it's felt like forever since the horror community on TH-cam has done one of these.. brings back memories of when I found these channels! You're the man LM!
Glad you covered the Missing 411. David Paulides (the detective who wrote about Missing 411) has dedicated his research an time to trying to figure out what goes on in those woods and brings to light people who go missing and found in the most incredible places. There are some podcast interviews with him on here and he goes into a lot of detail on these kinds of cases. I'm glad Lazy touched on the 411 stuff and I hope more will come of it! :D
Very true The people who go missing (based on the podcasts I've listened too) state that not just anyone goes missing, its only certain kinds of people such as experienced hikers, educated people (its odd but its been mentioned)or sometimes children whom are disabled or otherwise too young to remember specific details about their time while they where gone. In one of the podcasts regarding Missing 411, David does give some plausible sounding explanations though: 1) Its possible an animal attack could be responsible for the missing people. However the reason why David strongly doubts this (but gives credence to some degree) because if an animal had taken someone, the area in question would be disturbed greatly with lots of upset dirt/soil/leaves/branches etc and quite possibly lots of blood and torn clothing. 2) Mountain men. Not entirely unheard of as I've heard stories like this (But in a more 'Lets not Meet' kinda way) but I do believe people like this do live in the wilderness and are possibly responsible for only a very small portion of missing people. 3) A well hidden drug ring/organization. He points out while this sounds like it can be possible, it just would seem likely given the effort people would have go to major efforts to reach their hidden base. Also seeing suspicious people/cars every now and then would raise a few questions/eyebrows. Least those are the three things I remember most about some of the podcasts. The more 'supernatural' side of also sounds possible. Much like the ocean, there are possibly vast areas of forest that haven't seen another human in years (if not ever) and while I am slightly partial to the supernatural/paranormal side of stuff, I still think incredible things like what missing 411 states requires incredible proof. Do I believe there is something scary out in the woods that's taking people in unnatural ways based on incredible stuff David has put forth? absolutely 100% Do I think incredible proof is needed? Again, absolutely 100%. I also give David a bit more belief because of how people who work at national parks are reluctant to talk about stuff or do what they can to brushed off or otherwise people to not talk to the public in anyway at all
@@RabuHina What I don't understand is why rangers and others would be actively hostile to investigators. What's wrong with just saying, "Here's the facts, and we can't explain or figure them out, either," ....without ever even implying it's supernatural? I listen to a lot of old detective radio shows from the 40s and 50s and you sound like the narrator from a show called Whistler.
I loved those p.I. stories !! VERY interesting ... hope for more soon. 😻
Hey, Lazy! What type of mic do you use?
The SE2200a :)
Lazy Masquerade Thank you, sir! I love your work!

That last story. “I generally try to keep my cases private...” then at the end he’s like I enjoy sharing this tale when I’m asked about my best case!
Lucky he was on it mind.
never clicked so fast before 😙😙
Diona Halili FOR BEING SO EARLY HERE IS YOUR PRISE🎁SORRY I CANNOT TELL YOU WHATS IN THERE. SERIOUSLY. I GOT A BIG MOUTH THEY DO NOT WANT ME SPOILING IT FOR YOU😣

+Tammy FAV Dude, you need to calm down. Holy shit. You're screaming at nothing.
+Tammy FAV Literally all I said was 3 letters...?
I loved this, Man! I'd certainly love to hear more of these kinds of stories!
Gotta love the irony of the reverse damsel-in-distress situation. Question is, why did our heroine risk life and limb for an old private eye? (if you get this reference, you get a cookie!)
Expensive Antique Chair Theres no cookies in the commonwealth
A settlement needs your help. I'll mark it on your map.
"I see you got a thing for antiques" ;)
The Solano case is a very cleverly written story - Using the idea that the deaths had to be covered up and corruption. Makes it a tad more beliveable, even tho it's still obviously fake, good job!
Lazy I love you so much,bless you🙏❤
Papa Bless
> Mexico isn't all cartel
Pffft yeah right
I'm not sure what you mean by "Pffft" but the claim you quote, if anything, is understated; most of us in Mexico have zero contact with cartels.
I'm really feeling the 50's vibe of this video. I feel like I wanna smoke a cigar while drinking a vodka tonic.
it amazes me that you haven't reached 1 million subs. you're by far my favorite TH-cam channel and dont get me wrong 500K subs is spectacular but your videos are worthy of twice that
Thank you my friend.

Usually my favorites are the videos focusing on the paranormal but this one was really awesome!!!
the second story reminded of Corpse Husband's video "Horrifying Search and Rescue Stories". if you never listened/watched it, I *highly* recommend you to.
LOVE this topic, but HATE that most of these PI Stories are cliff hangers lol. Diggin the mood set by the music too. Another great video from Lazy!
the second story sounds like an x-file.
This is one of the best videos you've made, please make more like it.
I'm actually planning on being a private detective

Courtney Johnson You again lol
Great story Lazy! You totally rocked the noir aesthetic and made my day at the office a bit more bearable listening to this. I'd totally love to hear more! Before I got into listening to Creepypasta, I really loved Horror/Mystery radio, this reminds me of that!
David Paulides! Love hearing about Missing 411 stuff.
FaWKe5 same. I'm addicted to the subject
Great narration as always. I did get that film noir feeling. Nice. Good work Lazy 👍.

I watched this while on a Nick"Valentine" case on FO4
man this was an awesome subject not done by the other horror narrators...the first one was very scary, i feel that those type of organizations exist, the ones that have the authorities in their back pocket especially the ones that are cult like and do rituals...great stuff man
