Getting around mate! I think it's awesome you took the time to help people out - love of fishing is universal and we fishos need to look out for each other. As always, fantastic content mate 🎣💪😁
Glad I stumbled upon this video the razor edge Bruce is apparently the only lure known to catch the monster bream upstream of the serpy and haven’t been able to find them anywhere locally, looks like a trip to Nedlands is on the cards
@LightTackleAnglerWA I hear where you are coming from thays why we have minimum legal sizes and bag limits I only have issues with illegal fishing and people who keep too small or too many
@australisfishing totally agree mate. Just on that, to be honest Chinese fishermen get a bad rap in Perth, but I was happy to see them measure all fish and throw the small ones back. Different culture over there i'm sure but it was commendable to see them respectful of the rules.
@LightTackleAnglerWA I am of Macedonian descent and if I told you what I have seen over the years you would be shocked It's not really a race issue as there is good and bad in all its more of a generational issue and lack of education
I tried this morning, got a mulloway around 60cm, and met the man at 2:03 too. But afternoon I came back, not even a bite. I used the zman grubz the light green color.
Great video. I am thinking about getting into fishing and getting myself first ever rod. Any suggestions? Saw a pack at Thomas Road Costco for $89 Abu Garcia Red Max.. Also which bridge is this one?
hey mate that's exciting! personally i think spending a little more goes a long way, but it's totally up to you. a shimano quickfire and shimano sienna are 2 fantastic budget options, especially on sale. its one of the main bridges around the city, not the narrows.
land based mulloway on lures is easier said than done but I will definitely give it a good go, especially in a month or so when they're in bigger numbers. Parenting duties mean i cant really go at night too which makes it harder. Still keen though
Hey man, I definitely have donut days too! Don't believe anyone who says they don't. All part and parcel of fishing, especially land based (and in winter). Also from memory I don't think any were on the first cast if that makes a difference. Let me know if you need any tips and i'm happy to help.

yeah mate definitely works sometimes when other lures don't in my experience.
Wholesome quality content. Loved seeing the guests in the video. Your stuff is quality for a beginner angler also on the swan.
thanks man!
Always makes my day when I see a new one of ur vids
thanks a lot man! appreciate your support!
Another great video ! The bridge comment 😂

That's a good spot bro, fishing is really fun, everybody should do. 😄😄😄 Epic

I have been fishing the Swan River for over 45 years.
thanks mate
Really good video I just started to fish here and I’m a beginner to fishing thank you
thanks man!
Zman does something similar with the plastics, I think they've since discontinued it as I found a pack that was in the discount pile
yeah, the crusteaz i think. fairly sure they still make them, probably in the bargain bin because they aren't particularly popular.
@@LightTackleAnglerWA good to see that it works well so I'll be keen to give it a go again
@@LightTackleAnglerWA just had a look at my tackle box, it's called crawz
@@xccude ah okay quite similar, should work on bream for sure, especially the 2.5"
Good video mate 🎣 I'm just getting into soft plastics but never have any luck unfortunately, Imguessing its all about technique 👍🏻
Great to see you letting your fish go
thanks mate, have never kept a bream but I don't judge those who do

Looks like a nice spot, gonna be an extra Chinese man there now good luck 😂

usually a 1/16th or 1/20th
We’re is this in Perth
I caught my pb in the other side of the bridge 42cm

Hey mate whats the bridge called?
YOOOO BRO i think i saw you, was this last sunday?
thanks for watching mate, it was during the week haha only a couple days ago
@@LightTackleAnglerWA aw, okay thanks anyway :)
You said bridges hold “bream Chinese man? And mulloway”.
What is that bridge called
What is the Bridge called mate?
its in the city
I've been fishing this spot for the past few months and I've just realised that I must really suck at fishing :(
Pretty sure the Chinese mans name is Sunny, he's a good guy.
yeah he was a nice guy, he said he goes there every day. Very jealous.
What bridge is this is it the narrows
causeway bridge
do a mulloway video

Looks sick
Bros catching fish in first casts and I fish for bream for hours and get none
