    Finally, a source where the "next HOT bait" isn't the main focus. LOCATION is the key!

    I can confirm that so called "no man's land" was the prime depth for me most of the year. Won tournaments in March, July, and September all in that depth range from 4'-14'.

    I think it’s also key to remember that last year some of the major tournament trails had a good chunk of their events during or right after the spawn when fish would theoretically be in that depth range anyway

    Is it that the 4-12 is the sweet spot for the fish.... or is it because that is the sweet spot for using live scope (which the top pro's all use)? Or maybe a combo of both. Under 4' it's often too weedy/too much cover for live scope... deeper than 12' also offers challenges with using forward facing live scope (where downward facing might be more useful for dropping right down on the fish)

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 4-12ft zone has always been productive and underutilized by anglers, even before Livescope.
      However, Livescope is actually very effective from 12ft -80ft of water and has made fishing in those deeper areas much easier and more approachable. I would say Livescope is the easiest to use in 15-60ft of water because the fish show up a lot better.
      However, the fish aren’t as easy to see on Livescope in 4-12ft of water, but it’s still possible. So with a lot of angler still fishing the bank and other anglers fishing deeper than 12ft, the 4-12ft zone has been the least pressured water until this past year or so.

    Those are after spring spawn spots till the water temp drops , coincidently , thats tournament season ..late fall winter and early spring , your technic wont pan out as good if im not mistaking ?

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  ปีที่แล้ว

      These areas and depth zone worked in tournaments from February through October for winter, pre-spawn, spawn, post-spawn, summer, and fall bass. This also works through the winter and early spring.

    Now that you have used all 3 major brands of fishing electronics. If you could only have 1 brand 1 type/ model of units, which would you buy for yourself??? I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3. But when considering other things like customer support, have start leaning towards Garmin & Hummingbird. Before I got my unit last winter. I did a ton of research & Lowrance had absolutely zero customer service or support. I actually never heard back from them!?

      I showed how to find these fish with side imaging first. FFS was not used to find these fish and you can catch these fish without FFS. I and many other anglers have been doing this for 10+ years.
