      Wow! Did not expect this time of practice when it started. But. I’m so glad it was this practice! Universe gives you want you need🙏 October is a hard month for me. It’s a constant reminder that it took my mom from me. I cried and released so much anger. Always grateful for everyday I step on my mat

    Wow! That was an amazing somatic release. I was in tears after doing all the stomping and kicking. It's been such a struggle to release pent-up anger and frustration from my traumatic childhood.     I will definitely come back to this one more often. When we did the kicking and punching I just started crying and I’m still crying- I’m trying to hold myself together but apparently I have been holding onto a lot and needed release. Thank you so much Brett ❤

    I liked it a lot, especially that I've been storing up a lot of anger, frustration and tension lately. It felt a bit childish at the beginning, but then I let myself go and now it feels so much better. I'm gonna try it again tomorrow

    Interesting!! I’ve been teaching and studying Somatic movement practices for many years but they don’t look anything like this.
    It’s more like dancing 💃🏻!!
    Perhaps call it something else, like emotional release with movement or something like that, so it’s not too confusing?

    Hi Brett, Thank you for this practice. I appreciate somatic yoga that gets me in touch with a lot of stuff that is festering and accumulating. Being able to let go without inhibitions is so revealing. I am grateful for all styles of yoga from all TH-cam instructors, but some instructors focus more on being pretty and sexy, and you can see right through their approach. But to each, their own. We're all doing the best we can. Well, I wanted to tell you that for me, this is a lot more effective. Real and true.

Good for you, that makes you privileged. But you must understand that not everyone is lucky as you, and part of the yoga practice would actually consist in increasing awareness...

      @@lyeln part of yoga practise would include increasing awareness. Your level of understanding yoga is clearly very surface level. Yoga is not about narrative awareness, please refer to the yoga sutras of Patanjali for real data on what kind of dhyan yoga actually talks about. If you know Hindi, i could explain it to you in the language yoga was intended to be understood in. Bhaisahab kya chutiya hai tu.
