Welcome to my backyard, Florida.
And an awesome backyard it us!
Looks like a really fun trip. Love seeing these trails not too far from home.
It's a fun one
Such a great trip with spectacular views. Always love being feral & exploring with you guys!
We love having you, Misty and the kids.
Someone gets awful brave on their drone work!!! 👍 I just honk you found some deep mud!!! Great video!!!
Thanks!!
Nice it's a very nice area.
Indeed.
you are having a blast with the new drone
it is a lot of fun!!
Last year, my wife and I had an encounter with a bear at Hopkins Prairie. LOL, it was a comedic event. The Milky Way photos you can get out there in the summer... Oh man 😁 Thank you for sharing! Love ONF even if the trails are tight!
Same here!
Another beautiful trip!
Thanks
Outstanding footage❗ Thanks 💯👍🏆
Thank you!
As always, thanks! I'm a picky overlander and gave up Jungle Terrain many years ago. Vietnam thing. Streams, mountains, evergreens are my cup of tea. But, I just love the trips you guys take and how you present them. I'm very thankful that you guys share your trips especially me being up here in northern Wisconsin being very cold. I also have some big time disabilities. Again thanks for sharing. These keep me from going totally goofy!
We are glad you enjoy them, thanks for following along.
Just FYI for anyone running the FAT. That particular spot has a no camping sign to the right as you’re pulling in. Very easy to overlook it as I’m sure they did. The warden has no chill out there anymore and it’s a hefty fine just before they ask you to move.
Thanks for the info! You are right, we did not see that sign. If we had, we would have NOT camped there.
Nice Overlanding!
Thanks!
Love the vid and the soundtrack! Thank you!
Thank you!
Down in my neck of the woods! Great video!
Thanks!
Just ran this section yesterday. Definitely was a lot dryer. The deep water section was deeeep we camped at Hawkins too.
It's a beautiful place to camp!
Somebody is a really good drone pilot. Some of the still and moving shots were perfectly staged. The last time I commented, I said I was going to try to get down there this Spring and now it turns out I'll be going to the SAVE in Starke, Fl in the 1st week of March and heading out on the FAT. I have ten days to get back up near Asheville, NC, so I'll probably take in some AL and GA action too. The videos really help with what to expect and I'll certainly keep an eye out for those deep mudholes.
Thanks, We will also be in the area 1 week of March at the Southeast Overland Expo.
@@CoddiwompleOverland I look forward to stopping by and seeing you guys.
Definitely
I enjoyed that part of the trail in September. Very scenic and nice for only an hour away from Orlando. Thanks for the series!
Thanks for following along.
Saw that spot in Hopkins Prairie. Worked out great for your group. Our camp at Hopkins was across the way from there.
There are lots of great campsites there for sure.
Welcome to our neck of the woods. Glad you had a nice time on the F.A.T. Great content as always! God bless!
Thanks! We can't wait to get back down there in March.
Loving the new drone shots Bill !!! Looks like this section was a blast ! Beautiful
Thanks, it was.
You need to add an FJ Cruiser or two! LOL
Come on with us..
@@CoddiwompleOverland I’m still building mine out to overland and am about a year away…thank you!
Let us know when your done.
Great video. Amazing drone work! Glad to have you all in Florida!
Thanks, We really enjoyed it. Can't wait to get back down there for the Expo in March.
Glad you guys had a spare drone, you guys definitely missed some winter weather here on the TN/NC/VA boarders.
That is what we have heard.
@@CoddiwompleOverland th-cam.com/users/shortsiQhpmAedR1k?si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE that's a video from the morning
Been there with the ice....scary with the trees breaking.
I've gotta do that one. Nothing difficult and looks as if I could use what I have. BTW we have a new Slim Chicken in London for the next time you're in town. Pretty good fast food.
We will check it out.
Thanks for supporting and enjoying the F.A.T. (just a fan - not associated with the FAT) and sharing your adventures!
Thank you for following along with us!
Thx so much for sharing bro nice video just ordered my new tires and wheels for the gladiator dv8 whit ko2 br here this week i can whait to se how going to look
Sounds great! Thanks for watching.
Awesome video as always. Y'all have some great drone flying skills. Does any of y'all's friends get scared when the drone flys by their vehicles?
If they are, they haven't said anything.
Love the drone shots. FYI, drones aren’t allowed in FL state forests.
Thanks for the information, we will look into to it.
@@CoddiwompleOverland my friend almost got fined for flying his in either Tate’s Hell or the Apalachicola National Forest. I can’t remember which one he was in. They let him off with a warning so luckily he avoided a fine.
Thanks!
Really cool area and excellent drone navigation! However, please be considerate of wildlife with a drone... it does nothing but scare them away from their nesting, resting or hunting area... Thanks!
Thank you very much. As far as the wildlife, we were much farther away from the crane than what it appeared on camera.
@@CoddiwompleOverland Perhaps, but it clearly scared it away nonetheless... just sayin'...
We will be more aware in the further, thanks.
This is Part 4, no?
Thanks for catching the typo! We fixed it...
How many days did it take to do the full trip. I live north of Pensacola.
10 days
Where to next?
Back to Florida for the Southeast Overland and Outdoor Expo, the first part of March. The to Moore Expo and Mark Twain National Forest.
@@CoddiwompleOverland Hope to see you at the Southeast Expo! We live in Florida and are building a 1st Gen GMC Canyon into an overland rig. You were here during the dry season, come back in July and you will find those mud holes at a whole different level.
Cool! See you at the Expo.
would you like to get some free led lights ?
No, thank you.
