Going to see this band in two weeks. I can't wait, their music is so atmospheric and transports me to epic places in my mind when I listen to them. You definitely need to do a full album react to Lift Your Skinny Hands... or F#A#oo (don't know how to make the infinity symbol, lol).
they use a lot of unorthodox methods to get some of their sounds. I know they like rubbing the metal shaft of a screwdriver on the guitar strings on a few of their songs (even saw it live!)
So cool to see you react to them! They are absolutely amazing!!! One of my best friends who passed recently turned me onto them, so these guys hit me in the heart cool of you to take a subs advice!! I’m if any band can take you onto a roller coaster of a journey it’s these guys! You have to definitely be patient to enjoy them it’s not for everyone that’s for sure! But it’s amazing and beautiful music! Good pick yea that’s the bass 🤘💪😎 this whole album is a masterpiece you have to Listen to the whole album, it all blends in together that’s why you felt like that, like incomplete
Post Rock reactions are always apreciated. Would love to see you tackle some Sigur Rós, or even bands like 65daysofstatic, Caspian or This Will Destroy You.
I did- you are right! I didn't put the name of the song in the metadata so I didn't catch that. Oh well! It was a request for a patreon back then, and a different patreon this time...personalized reactions!!...I have a playlist here: th-cam.com/play/PLalarAGvHGqh3biWrSPEWOqPWx57QA317.html
This is definitely a great album to react to. So many great moments on it honestly.
I love this album and saw them on this tour. Very powerful. And yes to Sigur Ros! Saw them live that same year and it was equally powerful.
Oh man you are so blessed!!! 🙏🙏🙏
GYBE!'s music always makes me think of decaying cities, abandoned train yards, hope amongst the debris.
What a shock. Hadn't listened to this band for so long... If you ever manage see them live, just go, I think they're still touring. Thanks.
This is my favorite movement. I always come back to this one.

no-one used a slide guitar with such power since Steve Howe on Relayer

Dance music (and pop)can be some of the most immersive and transcendent music out there.
You really need to do an entire Godspeed album to get the entire picture.
yes

'clusterfuck' is right. This is crazy, though. It's like seeing your reaction to the same song from 2 different universes.

YES Sigur Rós are a must listen
Prog dog has previously reacted to MONO [Japan] & Sigur Ros 😎
@@tishbite69 Hah, I actually saw that reaction and forgot he did that. A full album would be cool though, especially Takk and Agaetis Byrjun.
Awesome track. If you like GSYBE you might like Explosions in the Sky. You might also like to check out Sigur Ros if you haven't done so already.
Not progressive, but I highly recommend listening to the best album from last year. Ants from Up There by Black Country, New Road
I will, thanks
Awesome song! Love the channel! Check out math rock band 'Don Cabellero' 🌊🏝️
just sampled them - nice
i thought you had listened to this already like a year ago?

Too bad you didn’t listen to the end of Antennas To Heaven
