One question that's always bothered me...there doesn't seem to be a way to keep a video playing across multiple slides, which would seem to be important to create a sense of cohesion - as if the presentation is one long video instead of individual slides. Technically, I suppose you could have multiple content placeholders animate over a single slide with a continuous video running in the background, but that gets pretty messy to manage. PowerPoint really needs a way to handle overall presentation timeline, much like the old Producer add-on used to provide.
Lock Objects is a new PowerPoint feature available to Insiders running Current Channel (Preview) Version 2104 (Build 13905.10000) and later. It is rolled out in phases, so do update your PPT version and check. Thanks a lot!

Very precious trick shared and when I am seeing this after very long time because I got the feature of stick video so tried a lot to work but now got the tricky points= search merge options in search box Alt Q, then only it will work out. Thank you so much this trick is like having another weapon in your artillery

As you are more or less on the cutting edge with your apps, for us technical people, please consider stating somewhere, either in the vid itself or the description, what specific version/release of the app you're using. I usually have your video on one screen, and on another, I'm mirroring your steps. Of course, the mirroring stops because my app version isn't the exact same as yours. "Oh, I'm on v16.0.131... and you're on v16.0.147..." Sometimes it's just a matter of where we respectively fall into the psuedo-randomness of when each M365 subscriber gets their app update pushed to them. Hi, your videos are great and I am learning alot. The screen record quality is great, can I ask how to go about screen recording powerpoint in good ultra hd quality. My laptop lags and does not record the slides well. PowerPoint recorder does not record effects such as morph or animations. Do you recommend a very powerful laptop gaming laptop to get the best image quality? Thanks.

For instance I am in a video looking at where there are wild animals for a safari trip as slides and I am going on a safari with out me being there as I intergrate a vest and how it helps me in my travel needs. I can only find it under stock videos, but it doesn't have the nice greenish transparent text box you have over it. Any advise on that? It doesn’t always appear in design ideas. You can also go to insert - then video and then select stock videos. Then you can choose from the entire selection.
Thanks Kevin but I have one problem, when I go on slideshow mode I cannot see my text and my video is only playing. When I click Esc, the video stops and the text appears. I want it in a way where the text is visible when the video is playing too.
