How can I add music just for the timer. If the timer is one minut so the music will be for one minute and the last soumd will be another music to inform the student that time is up? It urgent please I was looking for it but can't find it.

I had to produce my first ever presentation, just 10 minutes long, for my history degree and being in my 50's and not really an IT guru, had absolutely no idea how to do any of this. You are a saviour! Thank you so much for taking the time to produce and upload this guide. I now understand how to add the music, but now trying to figure out how to record my voice over the top of the music audio as narration with the music playing in the background still. I had considered just recording individual mp3 files for each piece of my voice narrative and adding in for each slide separately... maybe that will do the trick... wish me luck! 🙂 Thank you again for your help Kevin. can you insert more than one song? I am trying to add a playlist of songs to a picture slideshow so that the slideshow plays over and over until the playlist is done. I can seem to add more than one song and have them play one right after another not linked to the slide timing. HELP!!!!
So odd that I used to know how to add audio, but for unknown reasons, I forgot how. You explained this so clearly and you are easy to understand whereas some others go too fast and I'd need to watch the video 4-5 times to get it. Great video Kevin. Very helpful. One tip that I figured out on my own was that adding additional pieces of music is easy. You just keep clicking Add Audio and it will stack one on top of the other in the order you added. BUT... you have to unclick Loop Until Stopped because otherwise it will play the 1st and 2nd together once the 1st is done and then the 1st, 2nd and 3rd together...on and on.
I just tried this - I was clicked on the first slide and I added 5 .mp3 files. Unclicked loop until stopped but I did select rewind. When I started my slideshow, it was playing all 5 songs simultaneously. How do I get it to play one after the other?
@iuperica You have to attach the 2nd song in the slide where the first song ends. So let's say your first song lasts through slides 1 through 14. Then attach the 2nd song into slide 15. If necessary trim the 1st song so that it stops at the slide before the slide you want your first slide to start. Then on down the list to song 3, 4 ect. I'm not an expert and there might be a better way to do it, but that worked for me.

I am able to get the music to run with my photo show, but it only plays if I start the slideshow from the beginning. It's a long show - I'd like to hear the music when I pick it up from a slide half way through and it doesn't play, I only see the slides, no music. Any ideas?

Nice tutorial. Is there a way to preview (with music) a long presentation with music playing across slides without starting back at the first slide each time, or where you have the music starting? It gets very time consuming when adjusting length, etc. when you have to keep watching from the beginning.

Thank you for this tutorial. I was able to share 84 photos (101MB total) with audio as you instructed, at 0.5 seconds per slide, by saving it as a MP4 file which came out to be 16MB, which is easily sharable in Messenger, Hotmail, and Gmail.

I have 72 slides that play with continuous background music. I hid the icon that controls the music. Now I want to remove the music and replace it with something different. All the instructions say to click on slide that had the music added...I can't find it! I click on the first slide and second slide, etc., and it doesn't bring up the audio controls. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
