Very interesting to see them slowly learning that food can come from a different angle and that they can reach for it themselves.

I remember seeing a bird opening its mouth infront of a maggot and be confused why it doesn't go in.

I have said Edgar, still a nestling on the ground, pretty sure an owl got the family. He is almost a fledgling now, and he is learning to self feed, thanks to you. Dark on white has helped him a lot. He is actually a little ahed in this task, but he will need it. The goal is back to nature. But he will never be exactly the same, he has imprinted on my entire family. We are in the country, so hopefully he will not blindly trust too many strangers!
What are u feeding a baby crow..I just found 1 but couldn't reach its nest to get it home..but I'm out there every day, its parents play with my macaw when were out..so I can train him like a moma bird will n he can go back to his family in his own time..
@@bigbiemacaw Wet soft cat food. Fresh shrimp no salt. Cooked cereal. Raw chunks of chicken.

Hello , a neighbor had bringed a sick crow to me, and I really don't know how to help her, I'm experienced in treatment of pigeons as we don't have an aviar vet in my location, it doesn't fly , it's eating and drinking water, I don't know if I can use the same medication as for the pigeons
What is the best food to feed them? I'm using cat food with fish food added and fruit.. Anything else???

How do I teach a crow to find it own food? I notice a baby crow in my back yard around the same size of the ones in the video and I fed it some meat and now it come back when ever it's hungry. It can fly pretty well and it's watch me dig up worms from our gardens but it just always comes back and squawks at my door until I come out with food. I don't mind feeding it but I don't want it relying on me. I'm not sure if I should ignore it and let instinct take over. I see it hanging out with one other crow which I think it is mother crow but I don't know and not sure what to do.
