Love your new content brother!
Thank you Brother!! You are the man. Doing right at Inside Fighting.
This is beautiful. Real karate is closer to this than strip mall bullshit. (Not that I train karate, but I’ve grown to respect the hardness of the old school karate). Silat has not yet lost its destructive roots. (For the most part… I hate to see what has happened to some who have made Silat “part of their jkd blend” .., that is a poison that had crept into many warrior arts of the archipelagos. But… I fucking love real Silat. (Eskrima as well). Keep it up my friend. I hope we get to bruise forearms one day before I’m too old to play that way. I love this. Like really…. Love love love this.
Thank you my Brother! It’s all about keeping the art pure and spreading it to the people that deserve to walk the Silat path. Guys that say they teach Silat and mix it have know clue. That would be awesome if we could meet up and train. I live in south Florida, I’m doing a seminar in October 2024 if you’re interested. Thanks again for the solid comments.
Great video keep them coming
More to come!
Love it. Definitely adding this to my tool box.

Awesome content Guru, the forearms are deadly through these conditioning exercises 🔥
You’re welcome!! Enjoy the content.
Great conditioning. At first my arms were sore and bruised. But over time my bones are stronger, skin is tougher, muscles more dense, no bruising… they still get sore when we train Guru. Don’t think that will ever change 🙏😎🔥
Nope! If you’re not getting sore, you’re not getting stronger.
Thnks
You’re welcome!
These strikes are no joke I had my old Panantukan teacher hit me with something similar a few times and it’s a lot more painful and debilitating than people give it credit for
This is true. Until you feel the pain you don’t fully understand or believe the power. Thanks for the comment.
Devastating and crushing, yes! Conditioning of the ulna for the block/blow is vital. Good stuff 💯
Also, the dry sense of humor 😂 is 🎯
Thank you sir! Watch my unbreakable bones video for solid forearm and shin conditioning.
Thank u so much. Nice to learn silat. I have knowledge in kalah and Piper knife.

is there any silat competition on usa-europe? i have only seen it on asia. and is there MMA fighter using silat?
I’m not sure about Dilat competitions in Europe. The USA Pencak Silat federation holds competitions and traditional Silat non competition.
I do the traditional aspect of Silat.
As for MMA I’m not sure who is using Silat. I know MMA has a ton of rules and Silat has know rules at all.
Here is the link for USA.

talk talk talk!!!!!
Question does that blocking sequence work from inside position as well? And if you can share any sequences or concepts on the difference between attacking inside and outside position please I would really appreciate it
Great question, yes it works great on the inside. You just have to be aware that the opponent will definitely try to punch with the other arm. That’s why we set are self up when entering in I. The inside with expecting another attack.
I will definitely put out a video on inside entries and the advantages and disadvantages.
Hey, check out the video with blocking concepts to the inside. Let me know what you think.th-cam.com/video/09UqO0wYOAA/w-d-xo.html
Nothing to brag about Silat. In all Martial arts, Speed n Strength counts.
Be like Water my friend.
Silat it the nusantara War.....you can studied silat and the all them..its kebatinan and all...its much the other silat in nusantara.
How can you be as skilled and experienced as that? Who is your teacher from Indonesia?
I have been Training in Pencak Silat for 27 years. I have had 2 teacher in the USA and have trained with Kang Cecep and Ki Yuda. I train the celurit under Deddy Irmawan from Penaga.
Solid resume
Your joke between instructions are always funny 🤣
Thank you! I try to make the training fun.
Guru can you do the karambit mingkabau Sumatra style ?
I can definitely do a video on the karambit. What I teach comes from East Java.
@@EdgedTacticalSystems cool i got one karambit here in indonesia i got just one scratch from celurit when i fight three robbers who want's to steale my bike thats when i start to keep karambit as a self defense weapon.luckly the police arrested the after i give each one of them non fatal injury.with that injury police can arrested them so quickly.sorry the comment is too long this is just a experience of using karambit.and i love it
@@EdgedTacticalSystems not a scratch actually that's a cut in my shoulder got seven stitches.
Thanks for sharing your story of how effective the karambit is. It’s a nasty weapon especially when you know how to use it. I will work on a video all about the karambit.
Good thing it was just your shoulder.
Timpah sabeulah, timpah serong, timpah dua kali
Yes sir!
@@EdgedTacticalSystems ❤️
Cimande?
Yes sir.
💪🏾🦾
This video hurts to hear those thuds......when you guys are clashing bone against bone, it's serious.....the thud sound resonates with those forearm hits
RIP to any arm that takes those hits for real ☠️
If he gets hit, he gets hit…
It's the price of playing.
Never bring a forearm into a gun fight.
A gun does not make one invincible. Saying you'll just shoot someone proves you're a coward and cat fight
Nonsense talk.... don't bring gun to cannon fighting 😅
Stupid comment. Don't bring gun to forearm fight. Wanna try? Let's see how fast you can unlock the gun, raise it, and point it versus the forearm to destroy your finger.
Dont get deceived by silat socalled Masters. Silat is just another form of martial Art.
