This is a really useful idea. And a great way to use up paper you don’t really like for anything else or it is too light for other projects. Thanks so much for this great tip.
Hi Ashley. Very useful video. I think that the envelope liner give a very nice finish to a hand made card.As always very clear instructions. Thank you. Jan.
Brilliant tutorial. Many thanks for sharing. When anyone ever asks me why do you need a scanner on a cutting machine, I look aghast and say “why wouldn’t you?” 😂😂😂😂
Rather than taking the height then width down, wouldn't it be easier to do an inward offset? Or is that not possible when working directly on the machine?
Great idea and as always you make it so simple to do. Can I just clarify that when you take the image down half an inch at the height that it takes the width down as well? Then it’s just the six clicks with aspect ration unlocked for just the width?
Awesome video. I'm having such a hard time learning my machine. I've had it since xmass and all I can do is cut out stamps. Smh. It's so depressing. This is so awesome. Tfs xooxo
Hi that’s an old video it was a nonstick mat that somebody sent me to try basically you put adhesive on it yourself and it can be use with the Scan n Cut machine
I am the one who sent you my liner. I feel famous! But I created mine in the Canvas Workshop with a rectangle, triangle, and dashed line to fold it. Mine doesn’t fit the entire envelope as I found it adds too much weight to mail. It just tucks in far enough that it has the illusion of being a full liner.
Hi yes thank you for showing us i posted your envelopes on my TH-cam community board and a few people asked how to do it. You can use Canvas as you say and make them smaller, but I thought i dont do enough showing how to use the SNC scanner, so decided to show how to make them this way. so we have various options. they do add a little something extra to a plain envelope dont they.
Great video as always Ashley, but I'm a bit confused when you said your envelope measured 8.65 and you were taking it down half an inch to 8.15. Were you having a senior moment or am I? Lol x
If it measured 8.5 and i took it down by half an inch it would be 8.0, my envelope measured 8.65 so i deducted the .50 (i/2 inch) and took it down to 8.15.
Another cracking tutorial Ashley. I'll be lining all my envelopes now. I'm learning so much from your channel. Merry Christmas. x
Thanks Ashley, a really useful project.
Thank you
Thanks. This is a lovely way to finish off a special hand-made card
I la la love your TH-cams❤️. They are always so informative, and your instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you so much... And keep it up!!!!

I know its genius isn't it.

You can do an inward offsite on the machine ive show that in another video

Why do you call yourself Applelover? Do you refer to the fruit? Or to the computer?
It was a reference to the Mac computer, thank you
Thanks for your reply. That would make me an iPad lover

Doh! It was me having a moment. Maths has never been my strong point. Thank you for putting me right 🙂
