I just love ya, Zoe, for teaching us how to do this! All of your videos that you have done, I so very much appreciate. I like the way you teach, right to the point staying on topic, and you sound so nice. I like your voice. Wish I knew you personally. Many blessings for sharing your expertise with us!
I had never before seen a book cradle! As I am still new to the junk journal world I am appreciating every morsel of knowledge that I learn! Thank you for teaching and spending your time on this series of tutorials! 💕
Wow Zoe! I just finished sewing in my signatures like this!! I like it!! Thanks so much for the tutorial..... now i just hope i can get it glued in successfully ! Fingers crossed! ❤️🥰🇨🇦❤️
I do enjoy your videos! You come across very genuine and informative! I make journals myself and love to watch others create but your videos are the best! Thank you from AZ!
Thank you for number 3. I love watching you work. I've always used the 3 hole pamphlet stitch, but you've given me the confidence to go with the 5 hole pamphlet stitch for my new journal. It's even going to have 2 signatures. :) I'm working my way up to 3. Thanks again.
Your journals are so beautiful! I have been binge watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity. I hope to try making a journal soon.
This is such an amazing tutorial series! I am just loving it! Thank you so very much for sharing you creative process with us. Such an important foundation of the structure of a beautiful journal. So very kind of you to share. Very much appreciated!
Thank you so much for this. I created a hand painted cover awhile ago, then, in a fit of getting it all done, without the signatures I punched the holes for the spine--long story, I had just finished one I use for painting and such and just decided to go ahead and do the same thing again.. Well, now I regret that decision because - I want to do something different with the signatures. This will help me do a decorative stitch with the existing holes, and use this method to actually bind the signatures! I read about craftex and purchased a role of it =) therefore, I have plenty for this technique. Yay problems solved. Great video, thanks again.
Hi Linda, I ran out of craftex and I used the book cloth (sea lemon) instead (painted to match the cover). It works well as it's a lot more supple and easier to mould to the inner cover. Might be worth a try next time you run out......
did you say it's your birthday?! I reminded and re-watched that part 3 times!! If you did, the happiest of birthdays to you, you wonderfully kind lady! 😍💚
Okay, finished watching now. Absolutely lovely book guts!! I love love love it! The birds and I have a bond 😍😉 I look forward to #4, your voice is soothing and your work is phenomenal, thanks for sharing 💚
Thread anxiety! 😂 Thank you for sharing your techniques. Wonderful instruction. I have a tip for you for "digital stamping". Tea dye or coffee dye the paper first, iron flat, and then run it through your printer. If your paper is still a bit wrinkled add a strip of washi tape to the leading edge of the paper so your printer can pick it up easy without it jamming.
Always love to see other's process, thank you for sharing. Zoe, if you're in Europe, can I ask you where you buy the craftex from? Thanks. And if it is your birthday, happy birthday!
Hi, I'm in the UK and I get the Kraftex from either Amazon or EBay. I haven't managed to find a local stockist!! Yes i'm officially old now so thanks for the birthday wishes x
Hi kjdeGroot, in this video I used ‘kraftex ‘ but if you see the video I’ve linked below, I use an easier (and cheaper) material th-cam.com/video/0FJjFYSAp8o/w-d-xo.html&lc=UgwUayZydBEHWzuXtwl4AaABAg
This has truly helped me understand sewing in my signatures. Thank you very much. I’ve just subscribed.

Hi Carol, thank you ☺️. Give it a go, I still have the first journal I made, it reminds me of where I started from 😁
Love this! Never saw these techniques before. Love the idea of putting your fabric over the emboss rather than under. awesome! Becky S
Your tutorials are so awesome!

I must have been sure there would be a shortage of Craftex so I purchased a hole honken' lot of it online =) My bad. I'll make it work, though. =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!👍❤️🎂🎁
hi Susan, Thank you xx
I'm just starting out, love your videos. Can you tell me the name of the v book stand. I noticed a sticker on back but couldn't read it.
Hi Pam, the stand is called a punching cradle. The one in the video is from amazon but I found a better one on Etsy. Hope that helps x
Thank you, this does. I love your tutorials and your journals are gorgeous.
Thank you for this. ❤️😊
Thank you so much for the tutorial. 💞💫
Love these! What is the material used for you binding you sew the signatures too? Thanks 😀

How did you attach the tyvek? Glue?
Hi Susan, I used to use glue then found some self adhesive Tyvek which is much easier!
My tyvek tape says Tyvek all over it. Mind is like packing tape.
