    This is Awesome!
    I always detail my SUV and everything else!
    Question:
    Do you know if there's any kind of charcoal vent filters?
    There's so much crap in the air that what I breath in is very important to me.

    How do you feel about running a shop vac at the same time to vacum up the steam as it's blowing the dirt off?

    Wilson - Aero Cosmetics - Rubber Care. So nice, I love it for dressing Rubber. Supposedly "air craft grade". Amazon.

    Luke great video's. Just became a subscriber a few weeks ago. Now that fall and winter is coming. Now do you clean and maintain a car finish during this time. Specially if the car is outside. Thank you, Sonny

    Great video What kind of interior dressing do you use?

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well this is one of them, but I use a lot of different kinds depending on the situation, sometimes meguiars express spray wax, sometimes meguiars interior protectant, sometimes other products from smaller companies, I experiment a lot with products like that!

    You should spray your steamer nozzle into a drinking glass for the same amount of time that you sprayed into the vents. I’ve got a feeling that once you see the amount of water you’re actually spraying, you’ll probably think twice about using this method.

      Please share a little about how this is done. This is what I want to do. I want to give it a full cleansing, not just a shot of steam like this video shows. Thanks much!

      Im going to go through some of your vids and see what I should put together for a detail kit... some things I know I already have, maybe I'll have a dedicated cabinet for all the gear. Mostly Ive just been making silly shop videos messing around hanging out, and some vlogs, now I'm thinking more about the business aspect regarding the channel/social media/shop.

    Hey I know this is not about this video but I kinda need to how how to clean matte cars like removing water spots, claying the paint if possible.

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Matte cars are a whole different animal because so much in the detailing world is based on the premise that the car has a clear coat, so when that is out of the equation, it changes things :/

    • @matthewmoreira100
      @matthewmoreira100 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wilson Auto Detailing so technically all we can do to matte paint is wash it and put some type of no gloss protectant. So nothing can be done about water spots then??

    • @UnkoTones
      @UnkoTones 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything AnkerPro I have a matte wrap and the installer recommends sealing it shortly after install. As far as water spots go, I've heard Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint Cleanser works well. They have a sealant you can use after too.

    I'm not scared of the water, there is nothing to ruin there.. The thing that is happening and can happen (at least at old or low budget cars) Is the whitening of the plastic because of the hot steamer.

  • @InFltSvc
    @InFltSvc 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow! That is WAY To much moisture to incorporate into a vent that you will never get out, also almost all vents have a sealant made of foam or rubber on the edge of the trap to shut them with the knob below the vent and this will cause them to dry rot faster.
    I would not advise putting water in your vents to anyone, use a brush and a hose to suck out any loose dirt and change your cabin filter often

    • @wilsonautodetailing
      @wilsonautodetailing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to take into account the entirety of the situation, and use common sense, there is a situation where this works, and a situation where this does not
