@db257c Most of the reaction I've seen towards DBPs are that people don't care about their forum or how edgy they are, and are only interested in the projects and the quality of them (myself included). DBP59 being snubbed set a precedent that the award runners can refuse to give a cacoward to anyone if their views don't like up with Doomworld's, no matter how good their stuff is. Disqualifying something because of what it's associated with is shitty regardless of how you look at it.
Get a launcher and start downloading mods. Get DoomRLA weapons, then shades of doom and project malice for enemies. Get Ad Mortem for the maps. Combine them all for a good time. Welcome to your new addiction. Edit- use one monster pack at a time. Also get a health bar and steves flashlight mod.

People always mention overrated uninteresting stuff like scythe 2 but overlook ad mortem. It's a weird community.
