Oh my god! I need the whole thing! My first opera was a recording of Il Barbiere with DiDonato as Rosina and that started the obsession. It'd be so illuminating to listen to them dissect more of the opera.
she DOES NOT HAVE A POWERFUL VOICE. ahve you ever been in a opera house ? You cant hear her. possibly some high notes, if you want too... Listen to better singers like Leontyne Price, TEbaldi, Freni Callas, !!!!LoMonaco - after that you get an idea what powerful voice means.
@@susanfilip2286 that comment is two years old. I already know she has no true core or depth. She is talented but lacks proper training. That being said I have heard her life twice and she was perfectly audible. If it was her voice without artificial enhancements or not that I don't know.
Gorgeous delivery, with just the right amount of ornamentation and sensitivity in creating Rosina’s character ( is this a return to the musicology/ aesthetics of Callas? I welcome it!).

I like it that DiDonato doesn’t open her mouth wide unless she absolutely has to. Admirable.
Wow. This is amazing. A true artist. She did the show with a broken leg. Loooooove her
every , every actor would do so: THe show must go on. But still: REspect!

That last crescendo is everything. What a powerful voice she has when she wants.
