- Wanting to try out some randomizers of other games, I settled on a little game called Dark Souls. This run was just the item randomizer, but I managed to play through the entire game with... a few deaths. Enjoy.

There’s this neat game called Minecraft which deserves a lot of attention, I’ve never even heard anyone talk about it
there is also a really niche game called dark souls 3, it's made by the same developers as dark souls 1 Prepare to die edition, can you believe that ?
It's a shame this studio's only game to pop off was Dark Souls 2, the others are really good as well.

This reminds me, I really hope to see someone make an elden ring randomizer. Would probably take forever to beat, but still sounds entertaining.
There's so much potential for absurdity there. Like Radahn appearing anywhere besides his normal arena. Or Greyoll spawning somewhere she isn't supposed to be.
There's already an item randomizer for it, just got to get the enemy rando for true chaos

With randomized item drops, mimic head is actually really good in this run.
How so? Does it boost item drop chance?
@@Aaaashen Yes, it's the same boost as the Gold Serpent ring, with a bonus Silver Serpent ring on top.
The shade being thrown at Butterfly is uncalled for. She's trying her best, and if you had ranged weapons it would be a better fight.
except ranged weapons in ds1 suck and are boring to use lol

For the twinkling titanite grind, I think the Symbol of Avarice(mimic helmet) increases item drop rates
Skurry playing dark souls! My dreams have come true!
So as a person with nearly 2K hours in ds1, seeing an item being sold for 500,000 souls really confused me, because I was certain there wasn’t a vendor in the entire GAME that would sell you an item for that cost, so I did some digging to find it. Turns out it’s an amount created by the mod when randomizing certain items to stop progression soft locks from occurring, and it only happens on the old patches because on newer randomizer patches it just stops those items from being randomized at all.
i think you made me get into dark souls from seeing the first bit of this so I'll have to thank you for that, I'm finally watching this now that ive played for a shitload of time and have beaten the game

FYI mashing R1 and R2 actually matters a ton for escaping grabs like the mimic attack; Zullie did a video on it, the difference in damage suffered is immense!

I HEAVILY suggest you try out a poorly translated mod for any of the souls games. It's absolutely hiarious. Can be combined with a randomizer as well, for even more chaos lol
