It's also copy-pasted from the catacombs casket you lay in with a death eye orb to see Nito's covenant, so when you get backstabbed in quelaanas area, it forces you into your back as if you're being attacked in a casket.

I don’t know if it was the lava, that the replacement boss is already sad on his own when not submerged in lava, or the fact that he was so far away and could only look at you as the inevitable occurred, or some mix of the three. If I'm not mistaken, in the base game there is an area around Quelana where, if you are inside it, you lose enemy aggro. I haven't tested it with any randomizers but in the vanilla game, it works. It's not exactly reliable - if enemies are close, they might get close and attack before losing aggro, but it's still worth mentioning.

Yeah I've done several randos and noticed that--it's genuinely hilarious and I'm not sure why that happens. I've also gotten Manus in the Stray arena a few times--it's almost like a punishment for using the Easy Asylum option lmfao
Very impressive, honestly. Manus is a tough cookie, even when you are Level 100 without randomizer. But kicking his ass at lvl 1 with random items, thats absolutely sick. more than once.
