- After completing the more standard item randomizer, I decided to come back and try out something a little more chaotic. Here is Dark Souls' Enemy Randomizer.

What are genuinely the odds of Ornstein just chillin' protecting his gauntlets
Honestly happens more often than you think. This has been the third time I've seen him guarding one of his equipment pieces.
That specific item also is something funny in 99% of all randomizers, for some reason. 50% of the time it is a Key item.
50% either he is or he isn't
ok so i did calcs, 22 bosses + 19 hollow varients + 5 giant varients + 8 DLC enemys + 7 skeleton enemys (pinwheel dosent count) + 6 demon enemys + 20 wildlife like enemys + 12 no respawning enemys (including oscar) + 16 other enemys, this adds up to 115 enemys, then 45 rings + 14 arrow types + 73 peices of head gear + 60 peices of chest armor + 55 peices of hand armor + 59 leg armor + 8* starting gifts + 15 upgrade matts + 10 embers + 33 key items + 241 WEAPONS (wtf) + 60 other items, which adds up to a massive 77,395 possible combinations. fuck that took awhile, (no calculator btw). also fuck you fextra life, made me count out every fucking enemy and item.

I assume the big guy that was supposed to guard the firekeeper could break it, didn't know it could break either since I usually run outside to fight him or just speed past him.
@@riverajustinmarks. They're probably breakable just so the player doesn't get stuck inside them. The standing up animation that plays when you load back into the game after quitting actually has the highest damage to objects in the game. th-cam.com/video/edm_UJJqGi0/w-d-xo.html

So much lore here:
- Undead Burg and chapel got a bunch of Seath minions guarding way to the first bell of awakening.
- It's all as it is because of civil war with abyss cult in burg. They are trying to get to the first flame. And they have leging of pursuers in Artorias armor, created to stop chosen undead from kindling the flame.
- Actual Artorias settled nearby. He is got injured, can't fight anymore, but stays sane and helps chosen undead with smitting.
- Lordvessel was hidden nears the first bonefire, in the place only chosen undead could know. This plase nearly abandomed, but actually it is the safest place in the world for now.
- Seath the Scaless by himself traled to the Demon ruins to stop the First king and his loyal pursuer. He also wants First flame for himself to obtain the immortality so he fight the chosen undead.
- Second King arrived to the Sens fortress, or more likely he is imprisoned here.
- Kalameet is held by Gwin army in the undead asalym, as a final trophy of Artorias before he got injured.
- Gwyn lost sanity from sacrificing himself to the first flame, but he is still strong and he remembered, that Anor Londo protected. Both from the forces of mad dragon Seath and cult of the abyss.

Apparently that crab enemy is called a Vagrant, and it only spawns if someone dies with a lot of humanity and fails to retrieve their stuff.

Watching DS randomizers is more stressful than playing the damn game. It's like a real time horror movie I keep screaming at the screen.
Oh my gosh; I was just rewatching his other Dark Souls rando and thinking, "Aw, an enemy rando would be so sweet." Clicked back to homepage and saw this immediately lol
I enabled that all enemies could be randomized as bosses in mine. The Undead Asylum had double Manus, Kalameet, Centipede Demon, Firesage, Nito and Seath. It was quite honestly a pain in the arse to play since I just kept getting oneshot through walls everywhere.
Things would've been so much easier on them if they removed like, 1 piece of armour for fast roll. Probably could've gotten by Gwyn too

Seeing skurry play a game that they're terrible at makes me feel better, after watching them destroy HK bosses that I struggled on
I love that Chaos Eaters don't T-pose, they asterisk-pose.
The thing about enemy randos is that I think they genuinely get easier the longer you play. You gain power over time either way, but the difficulty is roughly flat and about average for the game in an enemy rando, except for areas with substantial environmental hazards like Sen's Fortress. There are cases where an enemy placement makes the game much harder, and bosses are more frequent since they can be swapped for regular enemies, but that's balanced by cases where a boss is trivialized by an unfavorable arena or bugged AI.
Your voice is very relaxing and I often find myself falling asleep during your videos :)

You have to reload the game every time you enter an area and all the enemies are glitched, it'll fix them. Though that may have made the run end even sooner, lol.

enemies t-pose when theyre set to do an animation they dont have, which applies to a lot of passive enemies but the venn diagram isnt exactly a circle

Now I really want to see what it look like when bed of chaos is randomized somewhere. Does the whole tree thing spawn or just the single bug? What would be the fight like if it wouldn't push you into holes every ten seconds?

I love these dark souls randomizer videos, but Secret Sleepover Society hasn't finished their playthrough of it and I don't want to be spoiled before that, so I can never watch them all the way through. Amazing content tho lol

Enemy AI not loading properly seems to be a pretty common issue with enemy randomizer. Quitting out and reloading seems to fix it. At least for me.
i have no knowlegde in this kind of stuff, but i believe said problem is caused by the fact that rando commonly put ennemie in area where they are not supposed to be
