Was today's years old when I learned you had to punch the blocks off the main column. Used to access boss room with fire arrow, drop from floor above and time a drop sword attack to land on the edge of the tunnel. Then bomb or Goron pound the rest of big snowballs to access stairs... Kid me was a stupid genius.
To be fair kid and adult me did the same. However just last night I couldn't find two stray fairies. So I looked this up and discovered you could punch out the columns. 😅
Woodfall temple: freshen the water Snowhead temple: raising the Central Room pillar to 4F. Great Bay Temple: Reversing the water flow Stone Tower Temple: Flipping the Temple
Kinda funny how in the woodfall temple a single dinolfos is treated as an mid boss But the two dinolfos in snowhead temple are treated as regular enemies
In fact that happens in oot with the stalfos, in the other temples they are minibosses but in Ganon's castle they are normal enemies and the same thing happened in mm with the dinolfos
Thanks for the videos! I'm writing my own "fun playthrough" guide and your videos are extremely helpful. I'm trying to keep my guide succinct so that it's only 1-2 pages of paper, but also write enough things out to help me remember what to do. Here's what I wrote down for the Snowhead Dungeon based on your video: Through blue room 2 fairies. Ground floor 1 fairy. Yellow room stack and key. Red room to key door, Compass. Bomb wall, 1 fairy, break ice, snowball chest key, locked door. Lens of truth ceiling fairy, timed pillars YGY. Criss cross jump, witch boss Fire Arrow. First floor green door, ice monster fairy and three torches door to raise main pillar. Back through red door 2 fairies, jump to silver door 1 fairy. Back through red door and blue door ice monster for key. Up the stairs for map and fairy, melt ice eye, lens of truth blocks for fairy. Silver door, down the hill to another silver door. Lens of truth and bow fairy. Up the stairs for two lizard fairies. Straight across for second witch boss and boss key. Through door and jump straight down, Deku flower fairy. Launch to left and hit both blocks from the pillar. Up the stairs and down the hill to hit two more blocks, then up the hill and straight across to boss room.
when i first did this dungeon, it was a painful experience for me because i thought the hot spring water was required. i ended up getting the key from the freezard room instead. also it is possible not to use the bow once prior to the fire arrows and you can raise the pillar before getting a single key, however hot spring water and the bunny hood are required because it is very time tight to light the torch with a deku stick. it is easier to do in the 3ds version however because of tighter controls and the the fence near the entrance.
Am I the only one that likes this temple? This and great bay are my favs maybe because I love the fact that you can become Goron(one of my fav Zelda species) and zora Link something they should implement in future Zelda games
I just completed it and it took me so long that I almost ran out of time on the final day. Again thankyou so much for your guides in the description and walkthrough. Your walkthroughs are more thought out and I thank you for that man. Oh my god that was close 😅
Stray fairies: 1/2: on 1F on the southeastern room, you will find one underneath the ramp hidden in a invisible cage with a opening on one side and one underneath the platform next to the stairs to 2F. 3: On B1F central room, Step on the switch to make a chest appear. Open it to get the fairy.
Great video bro..just letting u know u might get more followers for this video since Nintendo switch has the ocarina of time and majoras mask on expansion plus pass
I always liked the Great Bay Temple & Stone Tower Temple the least. I found it annoying how much you had to manipulate the temples around and how much item swapping you had to do in order to beat them. However, back when I was making my walkthrough I got to know how to beat them both pretty well, so I don't mind them as much anymore. I still prefer Woodfall Temple's simplicity, though.
Yeah, I like getting the fairy that way because it's a goofy way to go about it and it also shows that you can get that fairy even if you happen to be out of bombs. It's also easier than having to properly time a bomb throw so that it explodes near the box.
God damn I did not realize you could punch out sections of the raised pillar in the middle! I did the whole dungeon, then was stuck. I ended up doing a jump from the top platform to just barely make it on. I knew I had missed something 😂
While I totally bought the game guide back then Nintendo wasn't responsible for making those so they didn't make any money from guides. They did, however, have a number you could call to get help.
@@newnews3923 Yeah. I never used it myself, but you'd call the number and talk to a "Game Play Counselor" and they would help you with whatever part of the game you were stuck with.

2:40 Majora's Mask devs are so frustrating. They established that the only way to cleanse ice is with Hot Springs Water. I saw those ice cubes and was like, okay the only way through is Hot Spring Water. Where is it at? Do I really have to exit the dungeon to do this? Really stupid dungeon design.
I kind of agree, there’s not really a tutorial for shooting arrows through fire in this game is there? But I will say it’s much more obvious if you played oot first.
@@theparadoxzone2396 Hot Spring water doesn't work. I'm saying that MM devs teach you that hot spring water = melts ice, except suddenly now it doesn't. A bit irritating.
Ok, so i saw a friend of mine use the deku flower for that last fairy (yes we waited literal minutes for it), but one time i just rolled into it with goron kinda like you with link.
You can also jump from the center pillar (with all 4 pieces knocked out) or you can use the Deku Flower by the Boss door to float down. If you choose to jump from the center pillar (or the bridge like I do) then try wearing the Bunny Hood for extra distance.
You must be playing the game on an emulator. The fairy is there, but it's invisible until you pop its bubble. Shoot into the ceiling hole with arrows randomly until you pop the bubble. Fairy #12 is invisible on emulators as well.
If you're referring to the spelling then sort of. You're correct that in the original Majora's Mask it is spelled Wizrobe, however, the spelling was later changed to Wizzrobe including in Majora's Mask 3D.
If I am honest, this temple has made it more difficult for me than the water temple of Oot
This dungeon was more confusing to me than Water Temple OoT…
Way harder
To me too atleast.
Totally!
In my opinion, the Water Temple was way harder.
thats real

Found out I needed the bunny hood for that last fairy the hard way. This helped a lot though, thanks!!! 👏🏽👏🏽
RIP Link's leg bones. In any case, I'm glad my video helped!
You don't need the bunnyhood if you do a roll.
Bruh not even the OP used the hood much less had it in inventory

Tip to people using emulators: some of the fairies who are in bubbles cant be seen, but theyre just invisible so shoot until you see bubble particles
