My favorite part of this battle is that, after all of those theatrics, the final battle is you fighting Ganondorf, man-to-man, with swords, in a lightning storm. It's such a perfect climax in its simplicity.
The whole boss fight is far too easy though. The Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker Ganon's were both a lot tougher. Not that they are all that tough compared to other games final bosses, but still challenging. Given that twilight princess had a darker theme, I expected more out of the final parts of the game. It had it's challenges, don't get me wrong. Just think that overall, the game is too easy
I remember the first time I played Twilight Princess.. I had just got to Hyrule castle heard the menacing theme as I got closer and thought this will be a epic battle, I fought the Boar Ganon and Puppet Zelda. Then the horseback and Finally... Ganondorf I thought wow the whole adventure led up to this. And I beat him in about 4 minutes ITS THE FINAL BOSS!!!!! They should at least make it a bit longer not like Darksouls hard, but maybe a bit more harder and more epic. Now you're probably thinking "Just use Ganondorf amibo and mastermode" Even then it's still too short and also that wasn't a thing in Wii or Gamecube so great job Nintendo, Don't get me wrong I love this game but c'mon its the final battle the whole journey led up to this!!!
Darkthawn Same here. It was the first LoZ game I played in its entirety. The story, graphics, music, character design, atmosphere... It's genuinely my favorite of the bunch.
I think he went through a lot of trauma and hardships to be someone of almost no words and to be a hero with a personality of a rock and a heart of steel, though child link like in wind waker has more natural expressions being so young
@@Prod.byJbeats Nope, Twilight Princess is in the child timeline (After beating Ganon, Link return from the future in OOT and tell to Zelda what's going to happen. That way Ganondorf is arrested before being able to do anything) So that Ganondorf never fought another Link than the one in Twilight Princess.
The freaking " I see you later" that Midna said Goddamn broke my heart knowing that they cannot meet each other again because the mirror broke. The Twilight Princess honestly the best Zelda game in my opinion goes to your heart like a bullet.
I think story-wise the game is amazing, but EVERYTHING before you get the master sword is incredibly slow. I love this game so much, but it is one of the hardest Zelda games to get into. #5 Zelda game for me
Maybe she could be more like, "I'm speechless. This 17-year-old villager who's the young wolf saved both worlds by killin' the Demon King with a stab. The elderly hero's son did it. He killed the giant ta save us."
Hard to believe this game is 15 years old. Definitely one of the best in the series. Also, I read a lot of comments about how creepy & dark this game was. It’s a reason for that. I read that it was a lot of people that criticized the previous game wind waker for being cartoonish, so they wanted to make twilight princess a dark mature game.
I love both for different reasons. WW was so fun and light-hearted. Cried at the end. TP scared the crap out of me but I love how mature and intricate is was.
@@Utada379 I just got Breath of the Wild and find the mood somewhere in between those. They make some departures in the mechanics from previous 3D Zelda's I don't like and are completely unnecessary (esp. weapons breaking) but after a difficult early game learning curve it's very immersive.
Ah, the Twilight era. Arguably, at least in my opinion, Ganandorf's best character design. Shame about the weird jaw, but the armour, the hair and everything else about his aesthetic appearance was spot on.
Westy I like how the game looked so dark and creepy though and it was pretty fun I’d still play it but it’s not on the switch and my Wii U is broken...
Eyeless Jack I know that there is an official timeline but I think it was only written to satisfy the west. Most Asian countries (Turkey actually too) think of a special gimmick in their latest episode, (Animeish in BoTW, Dark Fantasy in TP, Cartoon in WW) then they write a story that fits the artstyle. It is isolated fromthe other episodes.
he fought ganon in BOTW 1 already, known as Calamity Ganon, BOTW 2 he assumes the humanoid form known as Ganondorf. DLC or BOTW 3 will be beast form/demon king known as Ganon (hopefully).
I keep forgetting the Master sword is the Sword that Seals/Repels the Darkness/Evil not destroy it so it being Twilight Ganondorf kinda makes sense seeing how they are the same timeline
Oh my god I just realized. In BOTW2 we're gonna finally get to hear Ganondorf's voice! I hope they don't screw it up like Zelda's voice, because I loved or at least can enjoy all the other actors.

Link’s expression once he sees Midna’s helm in Ganondorf’s clutch is haunting. The sheer despair in his face is chilling and it motivated me to utterly crush Ganondorf into the ground.
I absolutely love it when Midna flies over to Link and leans up against him right before the Dark Beast phase. Still the best companion in the entire series.
Wind waker link has to pull it out of a stone since ganon went and turned to stone but now wondering how come ganon here just died but in wind waker he dies and turns to stone mhm
the problem is , people b****ed and complained that it was too gloomy and dark. so Skyward Sword came out more light colored, and people complained it was too light and linear. so BOTW came out and people complained it was too non-linear. Fans gotta stop... just take the games for what they are. and they are all amazing. you can't please everybody.
andy hernandez That’s subjective. Botw isn’t a good zelda game in my eyes, exploration is the best of the series but the rest of it should be something similar to the structure and game design of Twilight princess, which in my eyes is the best Zelda game.
Something that isn't stated enough is the physical power of TP Link. He was able to physically overpower Ganondorf (a demon whose whole gimmick is power/ Literally has the triforce of power) in a sword battle. No magic gauntlets, No special gloves or magic, Just his muscles. Herding those goats paid off. Absolute chad.
TP Link is the strongest and also the bravest, remember 6 gorons were about to ram him but he just stayed steal ready to try to stop them 🥶 Ohh, I forgot to mention the fact when he fights Argorok and equips iron boots, the dragon can't hold it in the air and falls by weight, I mean... A damn dragon can't keep flying holding those things but Link can, even walks
not only is he strong enough to walk with them hes strong enough to walk with them on magnetic floors that are strong enough to carry the shoes and link himself against gravity @@Ryuk10-4
Fun fact, this is one of the few games that Ganondorf actually dies in. In most of the final battles he is either sealed away or some similarly temporary end. But in this game, he is brutally stabbed in the chest and then given a heart attack by Zant. However he still reincarnates later in this timeline in Four Swords Adventures.
AceofBlades X Sealed away is still like he's dead. Doesnt change the fact that he is cursed and gets reincarnated everytime so does link. The Ganon in BoTW is a failed, not completed reincarnation of him.
Alden Hozbo wrong, botw ganon is ganon giving up on reincarnation and attaining a form made from pure hate and malice, basically causing his anger to become the fuel to his new and final form since he can no longer reincarnate
@Jstacks Awesome It's actually well over 10,000 years and he's still standing. Twilight Princess happened before Four Swords Adventures, which happens way before BotW. So yeah, this man really hits leg day.
Liam Krauser yea I miss that being left handed myself I felt represented but now that he’s right handed it just dosent feel the same I still love the series and will keep playing it but it sucks that it was taking out
0002 na they’ve kept him right handed so far at first they said that it was because of the wii. And since most people use their right to swing the control that’s why it was changed but theve kept him right handed ever since
I don't care what people say, Twilight Princess' graphics have aged incredibly EDIT: newsflash to some of you idiots in the comments, tp hd is literally the exact same without the bloom effect and better resolution. the gcn and wii one look the same
Yea don’t know why people feel that Twilight Princess has bad graphics. I remember even when it first came out on the Gamecube that i read somewhere in a magazine that it allegedly had bad and outdated graphics, which puzzled me back than because it looked to me far better than any game i ever saw on the Gamecube or PS2 and the only difference i saw between this game and a game on a PS3 was that PS3 games looked clearer thanks to HD and HDMI ports, but that’s it. Now that we have this HD version it looks to me like a proper PS3 game which is impressive considering that the game was made for Gamecube.
I didn’t catch that as a child. It hurts learning English haha. This came out near when I was born so I basically grew up with it and to this day Midna remains a comfort character of mine. I hope somehow, the world of shadow isn’t lost forever.

@@Harrison0411 Breath of the Wild was honestly underwhelming... the spider Ganon was basically a Guardian on steroids. The Beast Ganon portion wasn't really part of the battle. I'm hoping that Tears of the Kingdom Ganon really ups the anti. I was really hoping after spider Ganon, he would transform into a flaming version of Demise, and you'd have another epic sword fight.
zelda actually helping link fight is the cherry on top. as well as the beast fight being foreshadowed by the escaped goats wayyy at the beginning of the game. everything comes full circle.
I will never stop praying for a sequel to Twilight Princess. My favourite game of all time even after comming back to it several times I never get bored of it. Please bring Midna back
I love the juxtaposition between Dark Lord Ganondorf and his ethereal blade the Sword of the Six Sages. He carries around the very sword he was executed with as a combat weapon. What a badass.
I like how in this game Zelda comes off as a genuinely wise and noble princess trying to do the right thing. In all the others she's just a damsel, a damsel who is useful in some ways, but mostly just asks you to do all the heavy lifting. In this one she drains herself to save Midna, gives you helpful advice multiple times, and even fights by your side after getting possessed and used against you in a fight. THIS incarnation of Princess Zelda is hands down THE best.
I mean Ocarina of Time Zelda couldn’t really do much in the final fight, since she was trapped in a diamond thing for the first half and couldn’t get through the fire barrier in the second, but when Ganon was weak enough she helped a lot
She's useful in the majority of games. People are just too dumb to look past the kidnapping thing. Apparently female characters lose all value the second she asks for help.
21:39 GOD. This shot is sooo cool! I love that Zelda is in the light, ganon is in the dark, and link is kind of in the middle, but hes mostly on the light side. Just a really cool moment. We definitely don't get shots of all three of the triforce holders together. Love Twilight princess
I love the part where princess zelda says "lend us the last of your power!" and bows to Link, only to have him hold out his hand to her. It really says a lot about their relationship. Link barely knows her, but rather than seeing her as above or below him, she is an equal to him. Though her role was minor, if it hadn't been for Zelda, Hyrule would have been done for.
People always downplay her role but she gave a chunk of her soul to Midna to keep her alive. This Zelda is a badass. The only ones comparable to her are the Ocarina of Time Zelda and the Breath of the Wild Zelda (played Sheik to help Link on his journey and kept Ganon on a leash for a century nonstop by herself, respectively). Not to mention this one was never naive about her role, like the others always are. As far as I remember, she never made a bad decision in this game. This is probably the wisest of the Zeldas but that makes sense if she's supposed to be the oldest of the Zelda incarnations, I suppose.
@@razrv3lc wind waker zelda had a big role in the game but mostly when being tetra, when she became zelda she became a boring character and didnt apear for half of the game
I'll add that, in this game, it's arguable that Zelda was by your side for most of it. "Your heart and mine were as one, however briefly..." - One could say that, through Midna, Zelda was by your side.

I live TP but Majora's Mask is way darker, that game really sends some chills down my spine the characters in Majora's mask are fucking dark and I mean dark some have very tragic backstories it's kinda fucked up honestly
Yeah TP was my first ever Zelda game and I'd play non-stop on the GameCube. I was around seven when I got this game. I didn't know what to do at Ordon Village but I was still having fun. Then when I finally progressed, I lost it and kept playing even MORE! And when I finally beat the game, I shed tear. And that's why Zelda has a special place in my heart.
21:19 the wind blowing over the silence just adds to the ominous feeling with Ganondorf's body just standing there. It's in this feeling that we all know Ganondorf will return one day.. and that day is fast approaching.
well since botw takes place and the end of all timelines it means that since he canonically died here and was reincarnated in four sword adventure that the totk ganondorf isnt the ganondorf from ocarina of time since they cant make the game have multiple views of ganondorf one being that he somehow got his gerudo form back after getting rid of it in the fallen timeline or that someone revived ganondorfs corpse in the child timeline or well however botw fits in the adult timeline because the master sword isnt in ganondorfs head from wind waker and that there are seemingly locations from past games that shouldve been sunk but that part can be just renamed places because botw is so far in the future although the deku tree would be really high up when he isnt but geography isnt that important in zelda anyway because it allows interesting game design either way unless nintendo move four sword adventure to either the adult or fallen timeline and change botw and totk to be in the child timeline this isnt the ganondorf people hope it is
@@methadone1140 i remember someone saying in nintendo unlike all other games that there is an oficial timeline breath of the wild will never have it. There are a lot of stuff that place him at the end and a lot of other that makes no sense, so we will never know.
Imagine if BOTW and TP had a baby for the next Zelda game. Like, find the middle ground between linearity/storytelling/character development that you get in TP and the open world/players choice of BOTW. Imagine a world on the same scale of BOTW but with original dungeon design and characters with depth that grow with you throughout the story. Imagine implementing the fighting mechanics found in TP but against enemies as difficult as they are in BOTW, or more so. If you ask me, Nintendo got it very right with TP AND with BOTW, just in very different ways. The two games are complete opposites as far as the Zelda franchise goes, and yet each game has what the other one lacks to be the perfect installment. TP is everything I want out of an epic adventure in which I am emotionally invested, and BOTW is everything I want out of an open sandbox where I can toy with the worlds rules and physics.
J Stumpf meh. Honestly, I just want an expanse on what they have for BOTW, not something completely new and mechanically unique. BOTW felt great to play and experience, and if they can expand and improve on mechanics while keeping that beautiful essence, then that's all I really want.
@@blundungus botw had sh*t story telling and dungeons. Borrowing dungeon design and storytelling from TP is the best thing they can do. Most zelda fans agree that we need traditional dungeons and challenging bosses back.
That is EXACTLY what I said after the reviews for BotW came rolling in. And it's why I can't pick a favorite between them because they are strongest where the other is weakest.
It was 20:55 that got me Losing his power fragment and letting out that devastated groan realizing he's completely done for and spacing out not knowing what to do; abandoned by the godly power and about to die with no magic or strength anymore to bail him out This might have been Ganondorfs most vulnerable / _human_ characteristic in any game by far

That pure sword duel. That is what is missing from most Zelda game. A true duel between Link and Ganondorf. That fight is one of the main reason in my eye why Twilight Princess is on the top 3 of best Zelda game with Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. edit: seems like some people misunderstand. Yeah, overall the final boss of this game was overall "too easy", but considering the Zelda game aren't made in the first place to be extremely difficult. It's more about the set-pieces. How the scene is set, the symbolism there. In most Zelda game, you always receive the help from someone -for example in Wind Waker, Zelda/Tetra is helping you, meaning the fight is a 2 vs 1. Here however, it is designed as a pure in-story duel between two Swordmasters. With no outside interference. Cliché? Perhaps, but cliché doesn't mean Bad. It serve as a perfect final for the archetype of the journey of the Hero that the Legend of Zelda always represented.
This game's Ganon buildup was INSANE. I can remember FINALLY getting here, and being like "Time to finish this..." And then he turned into a were-hog demon of absolute nightmares with those choir notes alerting you to his proximity... and then you watch Midna "die" And then you have to fight Ganon with EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT in a 1v1 sword fight, using everything you've mastered from the beginning of the game, till now. Just, a great boss battle overall...MUCH better than BotW Link's Ganon bossfight, for sure.
I just love the last phase so much. Ganondorf had enough, no more riding, no more magic using or beast mode. Just two enter and one will leave the arena. So epic

The first time I defeated Twilight Princess Ganondorf, my grandmother who had been living with us due to her cancer slowly killing her and wanting to be with family, passed away during the fight. I had been telling her each night about the adventure of Link and Midna and she seemed so lively and just. I ran in to tell her all about the final battle and. She was gone. I’ll never forget the first time I beat Twilight Princess, in short. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've only ever played this Zelda a couple of times, but the way this fight was orchestrated and directed makes it so memorable. I love it when Link delivered the final blow to Ganondorf, it's a simple cut to Ganondorf roaring in agony with a blinding white background... in complete dead silence. We know just how much piercing one straight through the chest would be torturous. I thought it was brilliant that they left that part up to the player's imagination just how loud Ganondorf would be at that moment.
I always find myself coming back to this video. This has to be one of the most epic final battle sequences out of all the Zelda games. Also, I think this game had some of the best character design. I'll always love and appreciate this game.. has to be one of the most under-rated in the franchise.
Personally I think Ocarina was more epic. Fighting Ganon sorrounded by a ring of Fire, making it a Battle to the Death. On top of that you have Zelda powerless not being able to help, adds to the intensity.
The shit it took to keep him down... Stabbed with the Goddess Sword, broke out, killed a Sage, was sealed away, gave away some of his power, came back, played "Extreme Tennis", was bitten in his only weak spot 6 times, fought Midna, won, got shot with several Light Arrows, fell off a horse, engaged in one-on-one combat with Link, got stabbed in his weak spot by the Master Sword, stood up, said his last words, THEN got his neck snapped and died. AND EVEN THEN, HE'S BACK IN BOTW 2 AS GANONCORPSE!!! Man is basically a more extreme Rasputin
@Fluffynator The triforce of power is the pathway to many abilities some would consider to be... unnatural. Edit: and they deleted the comment and I forgot what they even said. So the context is now lost. lol.
Stabbed with the Sages' Sword in a failed execution, not Goddess Sword. Then Ganondorf broke out, murdered a Sage with his right fist, got shocked by the Sages gettin' him sealed, gasped with the shock, screamed in his agony (the agony with anger, hate, rage, malice, AND shock), waited fer many years, gave Zant some power (which meant the Dark Lord wouldn't be too powerful ta kill, so Link could kill the giant with the Master Sword), came back, got his Gerudo bod back when Zant was popped like a balloon by Midna (which shocked her), stole the throne, possessed Zelda's bod as a puppet in the first round, got expelled from her bod, got bitten in his weak spot a few times by Wolf Link in the second round, turned into a flamin' head again (his form in the Twilight so he could pretend to be a god, which he ain't), fought against Midna, beat her, got shot with Light Arrows, got beaten in the joust with the Master Sword in the third round, fell off his black horse as the animal collapsed, got fatally stabbed in weak spot by Link with the Master Sword in the last round, stood up, said his last words, lost the Triforce of Power (the version he got from future OoT Zelda sendin' OoT Link AND Navi back to the past), realized he couldn't take the power back, waited fer his death as the Master Sword's power was finishin' the job, saw a vision with Zant's spirit snappin' his own neck, got unpleasantly surprised as Zant's spirit mocked his former boss (whick the Usurper King used as a gesture ta really insult his former boss), an' died standin' on his feet (like Whitebeard in One Piece) as the Master Sword's power finished him off. Zelda an' Link bowed their heads in respect, even with pity fer his fate.
I love this voice but I think you’ve worded it wrong. The best voice for a teenager going through puberty is Wind Waker/Toon Link seeing as he is quite literally going through puberty (quest starts upon him turning 12/13 iirc)
I like this version of Link the best in terms of physical art design, but really wish they didn't make him sound like a 20-year-old Japanese dude when he's fighting in all of the post-SNES games.
Tbh I like Gorons in Twilight Princess more than BotW and Totk, you can feel the brotherhood even though they rammed you when you encountered them for the first time.
This in one of those profound moments in gaming. You expect to see some grand spectacle when the evil is vanquished like explosions, magic running amok etc. But not here, it ends with a snap of the neck and then the eerie silence. Its sort of sad in way. He was there for one moment and then gone in minutes. Powerful Poetry....
I think what also drives that feeling is that he doesn’t even fall when he dies. He just dies standing upright, such an eerie thing and from what I can recall I’ve never seen that outside of this game
BOTW overall was more awesome though. But... could you imagine if they combine a world like the one from BOTW and the great dungeons and bosses from the other games? Oh boy.
I think the sword fight is the best fight in all Zelda's history, no magic or super gamon monster or anything, just two blades crushing between two eternal enemys (that's just my opinion btw, you can think whatever you want about it)
I think the fight with demise is the better version of this... mechanically at least. I want a fight that looks and feels as good as the Demise fight but with Ganon and THIS music.
I would’ve liked if in botw you fight dark beast ganon then he is weakened and become ganondorf he has to fight link and Zelda head on. That would have made the ending so much better or the other way around have calamity ganon then ganondorf you know what I mean
The music when Ganon Beast appears, like damn it's one of those songs that gives you the chills, it's so well done. This game from the saga has a special place in my heart and I wish they could bring a remake for Nintendo Switch or at least PC, it's so amazing
Easily the best finale in any Zelda game so far. The tension while exploring the castle and the music that accelerates the higher you get to the final fight is just perfect.

Hands down the best game out of all the Zeldas . The gameplay , the way it was even made . It really did bring out the hero in all of us when we played . Dang. Wish they made more games like this
One cool detail is that Link's legs don't cross over each other when strafing. It might look a little odd compared to what you see in most other games, but much more accurate to how an actual fighter moves because it allows you to maintain much better balance and change direction more quickly.
Yeah I agree, years ago I remembered a nintendo demo where, I believe it was to showcase the wiiu's power they showed a zelda boss fight which loomed unlike abything we have ever seen before truly next gen apart feom a few details. But this never came to be, they did the same right before the ganecube launched. Both of these tech demo's can still be found on youtube.
I think that if they keep it, they should change the design choice they did for many of the secondary characters because many of them look like they were at first designed as a cartoony character and then added realistic traits making them just look off.

He is brutally destroyed in Zelda 1 and 3. Are you only going back to Ocarina?
Alden Hozbo wrong, botw ganon is ganon giving up on reincarnation and attaining a form made from pure hate and malice, basically causing his anger to become the fuel to his new and final form since he can no longer reincarnate

He even wrapped in a custom-made Gerudo-style sheathe. He spares no expense at playing up ironic revenge.

I'd say that a close second might be Spirit Tracks Zelda (you could also include Tetra as well kind of).
Big BIG disagree
I mean Ocarina of Time Zelda couldn’t really do much in the final fight, since she was trapped in a diamond thing for the first half and couldn’t get through the fire barrier in the second, but when Ganon was weak enough she helped a lot
She's useful in the majority of games. People are just too dumb to look past the kidnapping thing. Apparently female characters lose all value the second she asks for help.

@@Leowulfs it was cooler on the Wii lmao
This game's Ganon buildup was INSANE.
I can remember FINALLY getting here, and being like "Time to finish this..."
And then he turned into a were-hog demon of absolute nightmares with those choir notes alerting you to his proximity...
and then you watch Midna "die"
And then you have to fight Ganon with EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT in a 1v1 sword fight, using everything you've mastered from the beginning of the game, till now.
Just, a great boss battle overall...MUCH better than BotW Link's Ganon bossfight, for sure.
Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf has some choice words for you 😂
Botw Ganon is literally a mini-boss in comparison to every other variant of Ganon ever xD
@@yoastertoaster8306eh, it's alright but I like Twilight Princess Ganondorf boss fight more than Totk
Love how the start of the battle is pretty much a tennis match between link and a possessed Zelda hahah
The Zelda term for that is 'Dead Man's Volley'.
Tennis simulator
I just love the last phase so much. Ganondorf had enough, no more riding, no more magic using or beast mode. Just two enter and one will leave the arena. So epic
Beginning of the game: herding goats
End of the game: killing a demon king
Edit: I did not anticipate such religious replies
Edit after totk: ha i was right, demon king it is
More like killing a demon lord who is simultaneously the reincarnation of the first demon king
ah yes typical kirby plot
😂
"Usurper god"
Ganondorf in Zelda lore is the equivalent of Satan in Christianity. Has anyone else noticed how much Christian symbolism is in these games?
The first time I defeated Twilight Princess Ganondorf, my grandmother who had been living with us due to her cancer slowly killing her and wanting to be with family, passed away during the fight. I had been telling her each night about the adventure of Link and Midna and she seemed so lively and just. I ran in to tell her all about the final battle and. She was gone.
I’ll never forget the first time I beat Twilight Princess, in short. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
Oh man here come the feels… sorry for your loss this game was my favorite and hearing that made me think about what I’d do when I played these games talking to my family about it long ago
That's really sad to hear sorry for your loss.
That means she saw the whole thing. Beat him again in TOTK for her.
Really sorry for your loss, may she Rest In Peace
That just means your grandmother was really Midna, and she needed to go back. My condolences for your loss.
All I see now is a greenish blue hand reaching out and preserving Ganandorf’s corpse.
Plot twist, Minda saves Ganondorf then possess Link.

That neck snap always gives me chills
It was pretty messed up

Ganondorf's jaw though. Gotta love those jaw physics.
He needs plenty of room for tusks 😂
Best final boss in the franchise imo. I still love the final boss from both Majora's mask, and Ocarina of time
Really hope BotW 2 has a final boss fight even better than this
Best boss battle was ocarina of time twilight borrows heavily from Ocarina Of Time.
Nah I’d say twilight had a better final boss. Imo, nothing beats that Mano y Mano sword battle against Ganondorf
@@caesarroe1283 this fight has 4 unique phases, the only thing it borrowed from Ocarina was energy tennis
It's a tough spot, but I'd say _Wind Waker_ Ganondorf is almost on par.
@@ottomanpapyrus9365incorrect
@@ComicAcolyte not to mention that Epic music.
I adore how the music gets more heroic when you clash and get the upper hand against Ganondorf.
TheAwesomeDarkNinja I’ve always loved this about all Zelda bosses they did this in windwaker too
The shit it took to keep him down...
@Fluffynator hahahaha
@Fluffynator The triforce of power is the pathway to many abilities some would consider to be... unnatural.
Edit: and they deleted the comment and I forgot what they even said. So the context is now lost. lol.
I thought not. It's not a story the goddess hylia would tell you
He got stabbed with the Sword of Sages, not the Goddess Sword.
I miss twilight princess man, tbh the voice actor of link made him sound more of a teenager going through puberty let alone more warrior like
Well you do know that Link is like 17 in human years right?
@@dawson1787 It said he was in the guide book.
@@contenital I’m aware of that
I love this voice but I think you’ve worded it wrong. The best voice for a teenager going through puberty is Wind Waker/Toon Link seeing as he is quite literally going through puberty (quest starts upon him turning 12/13 iirc)
I like this version of Link the best in terms of physical art design, but really wish they didn't make him sound like a 20-year-old Japanese dude when he's fighting in all of the post-SNES games.
one of my favorite final boss fights. it really put all the skills you learned together & was very cinematic
gorons in Zelda TP: i ain’t letting a human pass
Gorons in Zelda BoTW: Rocks yum yum
*WAH*
the gorons in tp were great. "brother enjoy yourself in the hot spring"
@@SteveNathn It seems to be a theme in Japan. I've seen that in a couple animes. I mean, dying standing.
Yep, after all these years, I still cry at the end.
I love that in this game, even in death, Ganondorf remains utterly menacing. Completely unwilling to back down to the extent he dies standing upright.
this boss battle was so good. i liked it more than BOTW. idk it just felt so much more epic.
ADAM BotW boss fight wasn't supposed to be challenging
and the new dlc boss fight was great though
I agree, but BOTW ost was way more epic
oh most def
Absolutely all the boss fights in botw were easy and kind of lame
BOTW overall was more awesome though. But... could you imagine if they combine a world like the one from BOTW and the great dungeons and bosses from the other games? Oh boy.
Two types of people:
“Ganon”
“Ganondorf”
True... lol.
GANONDORF
GANONDORF

I think the sword fight is the best fight in all Zelda's history, no magic or super gamon monster or anything, just two blades crushing between two eternal enemys (that's just my opinion btw, you can think whatever you want about it)
Jordan Bégin If you think about it Ganon and link were equals in this game
I think the fight with demise is the better version of this... mechanically at least. I want a fight that looks and feels as good as the Demise fight but with Ganon and THIS music.
I would’ve liked if in botw you fight dark beast ganon then he is weakened and become ganondorf he has to fight link and Zelda head on. That would have made the ending so much better or the other way around have calamity ganon then ganondorf you know what I mean
Agreed best game ever.

Heavy0331 what are the timelines
@@tuilleri there are 3 alternate timelines that are created after Ocarina of Time. The alternate timelines include Downfall (Link dies while fighting Ganon or before), Victorious-Child (Link defeats Ganon as a child), and Victorious-Adult (Link defeats Ganon as an adult). Twilight Princess takes place after Majora's Mask in the child timeline. the game after Twilight Princess is Four Swords. after that.. is Breath of the Wild. (spoiler warning. click read more for this part)
In Breath of the Wild, the Great Calamity occurs cause much death across Hyrule even mortally injuring Link. Link awakens a century later to find Ganon has left human form and COMPLETELY turned to pure malice. Link eventually defeats Ganon again but he [speculation] comes back to life in BOTW 2 as a person. Ganondorf. Because of this, he was correct about the history of light and dark being written in blood. [end speculation]
Heavy0331 when does downfall occur ?
@@tuilleri A Link To the Past
@@heavy0119 well, the victorious-child and adult timeline occurs at the same time. The adult happens when you defeat Gannon and the child one happens because the last time travel, when Link goes against to the palace as a child. Surely this is what you said, but maybe is more easy to understand of this way
Hands down the best game out of all the Zeldas .

Both of these tech demo's can still be found on youtube.
agreed. they need more realistic looking games in the future. the cartoony ones are ok but there has been enough of them.
I think that if they keep it, they should change the design choice they did for many of the secondary characters because many of them look like they were at first designed as a cartoony character and then added realistic traits making them just look off.
