I used to stay at this site in the 1970s as a kid. Absolutely loved it, a truly beautiful part of the world. In those days it was run by a lady called Hilda, and I remember being terribly impressed because she spent her time minding the shop reading a magazine in Chinese. Neil was the maintenance chap in those days and there was another member of staff - can't recall her name, but she had white hair. Years later, maybe 2001-ish, my brother and I spent a couple of days camping there. Neil was now in charge of the site and actually remembered us. I could not move once we arrived, I was so overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery. I would love to go again. I have lived in various places, including South Africa, Scotland and North Wales, but this part of the Pembroke coast is my ultimate favourite place. There's quite a lot to do, even on rainy days. Nearby is Cilgerran Castle, and Manobier Castle is within a comfortable driving distance. Pentre Ifan is well set, for those who like their archaeology to be ancient. If you explore the coast you'll find loads of beaches of varying formats. There used to be a fairly challenging coastal bath to a beach at the foot of this site, behind where the office is now. It has a cave and is secluded, but I am certain health and safety would have a thunderous explosion of ire if this path were to be reopened. There is a footpath in the direction of Dinas Head which goes to a pebbly beach called Aberbach. I used to catch fish from the rocky ledge back in the day. On the other side of Dinas Head there is a lovely sandy beach called Newport Sands. If you go the other way past Fishguard, there are quite a few secluded coves. Blimey, I'm getting all overcome with nostalgia and, to use the Welsh, hiraeth.
Thanks for the super video, Bernard - very informative! I hope to be able to experience the resort and views for myself as soon as possible. Hope everyone is keeping well. My dear late husband, Chris would also have loved the location. Best Wishes, Rachel
nice video, and nice to see a lovely resort, but next time remember if you are not facing the camera your voice becomes muted, you may wish to invest in a small bluetooth microphone they aren't expensive from ebay, Good luck, and email marketing has obviously worked as you emailed me and here I am commenting on your video, as someone who works in TV & Film, Kidest Regards David :-)
Much nicer before it was altered had many happy holidays there when previous owners had it. Stayed in a static, a tourer and a tent couldn't afford to stay all now way too expensive 😢

I didn’t want the video to end. Those pods on the front. Do you allow dogs in there and do they have hottubs? Looks beautiful.
