I lost my wife last week. She was 39 and her birthday is next week. We were supposed to go on a family cruise to celebrate her 40th. I have been listening to this a lot. I feel I will always be broken, but this helps.
This is a song that's hard for me to hear, but helps remind me of just how far I've come. Today I have 4yrs 6mo clean time from a nasty pain pill addiction. I used to lay in my shower, sick, crying out to God. "Save me or take me, please, I'm so sorry" and He did come for me. This song was one I would play on repeat for hours, sometimes days. It wasn't immediate, because He knew I wasn't ready. But once I hit my knees, admitted my defeat and started to help myself, there He was. He had been there the whole time... I am so thankful to have been saved. I love my God and I love this beautiful song. 💜

I lost my house, three family members to COVID, and have faced financial hardship; but this song gets me through these times of uncertainty. God gives his fighters the toughest bout because he knows if Job can endure it, so can his champions.
I love how God comforts us. I have definitely felt God comfort me through music. I pray you continue to feel Gods love and comfort through music. This was one of the only songs my grandma liked from this band and she really loved it. My grandma had a major stroke in my arms in March of 2019 and died pretty horrifically 4 days after that and I continued playing this song through those last couple days and after she died this song was a God-send with processing the grief through that horrible experience. I still listen to this song when life just feels hard. God is good and I strongly feel music is something that can help us with our walk with the Lord.

I read the book "The Shack" seven years after my brother was murdered. It brought me out of the valley that I was stuck in. Then the movie came out and this song says it all. It speaks volumes to to the healing.
I was in a similar boat two years ago. I was raised in the church, went every Sunday and youth group on Wednesday. I couldnt find myself believing in a God, especially not in the modern world, not with how life is, not with the church either. God chases us as individuals and Hope's to nurture the relationship as such. I pray he continues to pull at your heart. I pray that you see a beauty in life worth protecting, I pray you realize that's God working in you. Religion isnt perfect, the church isnt perfect, people aren't perfect, but God is. Jackie Faith, you're not alone I lost both of my grandfathers one passed away due to cardiovascular shock back in 2011 right after my graduation parties and another grandfather passed away due to lung cancer back in 2019, I mean every time that I listen to this song it helps me think about both of them and both of them always love me no matter what.
I lost my grandma last year. She helped a lot for my parents to raise me. Listening to this, I can see her face again. I'm afraid that after some years I will forget her voice. God, please, take care of my grandma, and give her a seat at your table in heaven.

I made my first solo trip to south america about a week ago and this song helped me to remember that God cares about therefore He is with me, when i was a teenager i suffered from panic attacks and anxiety, the thought of diying was constantly in my head, so i wanted to be in my house, with my parents all the time, cuz i felt safe however i was getting worse but God helped me and deliver me from that fear, and with this trip I saw the hand of God with me the whole time even when those thoughts wanted to come back He was there reassuring me that everything was gonna be fine and so it did! God is Good all the time!
I've been struggling with my mental health recently, and I just can't seem to control myself, my anxiety has forced me to hide from the real world and forget about everything. But whenever I hear this song, something inside me hits me. I know some people aren't big believers but this song impacts me to continue to look up in front of me and continue to have faith to move on. This fight will not be easy but I believe that God and in the name of Jesus, I will find that light at the end of the tunnel. My father passed away in May of a failed kidney transplant and my grandma got diagnosed with leukemia today. I was led right to this song. They are and were both wonderful children of God and I fall away so often but I know in the end I'm held by the one who holds the stars.

We were told by the doctors he was doing good and he would be going home in a couple of day. He was talking to my brother and told him he loved him. 45 minutes later we got a call saying he may not make it and me my brother and sister sat around him and held is hand while he passes away.

My Grandpa passed away yesterday on the 10th. He was a pastor, very devoted Christian is whole life. There's nothing wrong with listening to music that agrees with your beliefs, especially since a lot of rock and metal doesn't necessarily concur with Scripture. Please allow people to enjoy music that agrees with scriptural principles because it's hard to find, and if that's all people want to listen to, please respect that that's the music they enjoy!

I was cursed with constant almost daily suicidal thoughts since I was a teenager. I was raised as a Christian but I became angry at God over the years and blamed Him. When I reached my lowest point when I wasn't sure I could carry on I reached out to God and asked Him to come back into my life. He healed me of this mental illness and it has been almost 4 years since the last time I wanted to kill myself.

This is literally one of the reasons why I love skillet not only they are Christians like myself but they speak from the heart everytime they sing a song and it goes to god. This song represents everything that god is so wonderful to all of us no matter if ur a Christian or not💯
This was one of the only songs my grandma liked from this band and she really loved it. My grandma had a major stroke in my arms in March of 2019 and died pretty horrifically 4 days after that and I continued playing this song through those last couple days and after she died this song was a God-send with processing the grief through that horrible experience. I still listen to this song when life just feels hard. God is good and I strongly feel music is something that can help us with our walk with the Lord.

Whenever i listen to this song, it always reminds me of how well off i am. I live in a rural area of the UK away from serious crime. I have a loving family and amazing friends. My life is so close to perfect, and whenever I listen to this, I'm reminded of how well God has treated me. Recently, i felt like my life was empty, so i prayed. God answered.

I was in a similar boat two years ago. I was raised in the church, went every Sunday and youth group on Wednesday. I couldnt find myself believing in a God, especially not in the modern world, not with how life is, not with the church either. God chases us as individuals and Hope's to nurture the relationship as such. I pray he continues to pull at your heart. I pray that you see a beauty in life worth protecting, I pray you realize that's God working in you. Religion isnt perfect, the church isnt perfect, people aren't perfect, but God is.

I made my first solo trip to south america about a week ago and this song helped me to remember that God cares about therefore He is with me, when i was a teenager i suffered from panic attacks and anxiety, the thought of diying was constantly in my head, so i wanted to be in my house, with my parents all the time, cuz i felt safe however i was getting worse but God helped me and deliver me from that fear, and with this trip I saw the hand of God with me the whole time even when those thoughts wanted to come back He was there reassuring me that everything was gonna be fine and so it did! God is Good all the time!

I've been struggling with my mental health recently, and I just can't seem to control myself, my anxiety has forced me to hide from the real world and forget about everything. But whenever I hear this song, something inside me hits me. I know some people aren't big believers but this song impacts me to continue to look up in front of me and continue to have faith to move on. This fight will not be easy but I believe that God and in the name of Jesus, I will find that light at the end of the tunnel. This band no matter what will be my favorite, been a Skillet fan for countless years and this band has helped me get through my social anxiety with these powerful songs.
I encourage everyone whatever battle you are facing, do not give up and lose hope, the world may be sick and so many people are cruel but that does not mean you should continue to be a shadow to everyone that admires you. Everyone that knows you are rooting for you and it would not be the same for them if it wasn't without you. No matter how significant your battle is, I believe you will overcome it and reach the light and get out of your shadows.

We were told by the doctors he was doing good and he would be going home in a couple of day. He was talking to my brother and told him he loved him. 45 minutes later we got a call saying he may not make it and me my brother and sister sat around him and held is hand while he passes away.

My Grandpa passed away yesterday on the 10th. He was a pastor, very devoted Christian is whole life. This song makes me think of him so much and reminds me that he is with such an amazing and loving God. I may sing this song at his memorial service soon. Alex Re Actually, Skillet calls themselves a Christian band. I've been to a concert of theirs where they professed that, as well as seen many interviews. There's nothing wrong with listening to music that agrees with your beliefs, especially since a lot of rock and metal doesn't necessarily concur with Scripture. Please allow people to enjoy music that agrees with scriptural principles because it's hard to find, and if that's all people want to listen to, please respect that that's the music they enjoy!

This is what I love about Skillet. They’re music can be interpreted however you want.
This comment is probably going to get lost in the shuffle but it’s possibly the only way I’m going to be able to thank you all. This song is what I was listening to the exact moment I accepted Jesus into my life and I was saved. God has used all of you in so many amazing ways and touch so many people including myself and to literally save my life because I was on a path eventually leading to suicide. The glory always goes to God but he used you guys as a big part of my life. God bless everyone!

I was cursed with constant almost daily suicidal thoughts since I was a teenager. I was raised as a Christian but I became angry at God over the years and blamed Him. When I reached my lowest point when I wasn't sure I could carry on I reached out to God and asked Him to come back into my life. He healed me of this mental illness and it has been almost 4 years since the last time I wanted to kill myself.
