I am a grandmother. When this song first came out it was quickly a favorite. I told my kids about it. I wanted my 10 year old granddaughter to hear it because I knew she'd love it. I texted it to my daughter to have her play it for 10 year old. It gor pushed aside. Later in the summer it was a song taught at 10 year old's Bible school and she loved it! Recently her mom has found her way back to God and told me about this song - the one I tried to show her - called Lions. A couple days later she tells me her husband is listening to it and loving it too! So powerful! Praise God and may Christians rise up as in this song.

Going through depression and anxiety as a teenager keeps me tired and out of breath with every step I take in this world. Your music brings me energy and if I could do anything to see y’all in concert i would do it. I would drop everything I have and go see you in concert. Almost feel like it would help get rid of my depression.
You can try listen to one of Derek Princes sermons on depression, he struggled with it and overcame it. I did Freedom in Christ and it helped me a lot with my OCD.

However, he was very depressed during the last 2 or 3 years and unfortunately could do nothing with it. Moreover, he had to face deaths of many people that were very close to him. One of his closest friend, Chris Cornell, died about 2 months ago and it was a great shock to Chester. But anyway, we should be grateful to Chester for such amazing music he made. Btw, sorry for my possible mistakes - English is not my native language.
Skillet is my favorite of all christian bands. Anytime I listen to them when I start to feel like I'm feeling defeated; it is like God wants me to listen to them as if he is saying I haven't given up on you, and I don't plan to. He doesn't want to give up on anybody.

My sister & I saw Skillit live together before Covid.... it carries us through. The song "one who holds the stars" was so beautiful to hear in person. The energy this band has, comes from inside. My sister is fighting cancer now. This song is inspiring. And it's a testament to faith.

I got the opportunity to see Skillet a few months ago in Phoenix at The Van Buren. Top 5 bands I have ever seen live, so much energy, they are A class entertainers and their message hits home. I have spent a lot of time in introspection with their message

Going through depression and anxiety as a teenager keeps me tired and out of breath with every step I take in this world. Your music brings me energy and if I could do anything to see y’all in concert i would do it. I would drop everything I have and go see you in concert. Almost feel like it would help get rid of my depression.

You can try listen to one of Derek Princes sermons on depression, he struggled with it and overcame it. I did Freedom in Christ and it helped me a lot with my OCD.

Anonymous4lifeYT it better to say nothing if you don't know the truth. Chester overcame his addiction at the end of 2000s. However, he was very depressed during the last 2 or 3 years and unfortunately could do nothing with it. Moreover, he had to face deaths of many people that were very close to him. One of his closest friend, Chris Cornell, died about 2 months ago and it was a great shock to Chester. But anyway, we should be grateful to Chester for such amazing music he made.

Skillet is my favorite of all christian bands. Anytime I listen to them when I start to feel like I'm feeling defeated; it is like God wants me to listen to them as if he is saying I haven't given up on you, and I don't plan to. He doesn't want to give up on anybody.
