When you are growing your lettuce how many seeds do you put in? Also if you place many seeds like 4 and they all grow do you trim out the others and leave only one for the lettuce?
I put 3 seeds in per pod. When they all germinated i will let them grow to about three inches tall (baby lettuce I told in a salad or taco) and then let one grow full. You really get better lettuce if you let one grow. Otherwise they can be lanky trying to all squeeze in.
Depending on the plant and size - sometimes I’ll let two grow but usually I’ll just keep one. If I want to grow more I will gently pull the extra seedling and put it in its own pod.

@@upcycledgardener3831 if you only pull out all but one, will only one leaf of lettuce grow with only one plant.
When multiple plants pop up in a pod, do you pick the small ones or let them all grow in the same pod

First time on this channel, I am finding it hard to hear you.
I'd like to find 1 video that goes from the start to finish of just ONE seed pods.
Won't waste time & would be concise - info overload otherwise.
