A huge thumbs up to Rimmers Music recently delivering my PSR SX600. Best price out there, superb service and quick delivery. I am so impressed at this entry level arranger. I already own a Yamaha Genos, so the bar was set very high. The SX600 delivers an incredible sound at this price level, with features you would not expect on an entry level workstation. I bought the SX600 primarily for it's portability. At just over 8kg, this is a saving grace for my back after lugging my Genos to our church folk group and practice (where I also needed to take powered speakers!). Don't be put off by the lack of a touch screen or its size. The display on the SX600 is miles apart from what I remember on my previous PSR-S900. Vibrant, crisp and bright. In many ways the lack of a touchscreen has its benefits, plenty of buttons and tactile control of the main functions! The built-in speakers are quite impressive as well, plenty of bottom end and really good mids and top end despite no tweeters. There are even sounds, styles and features on the SX600 that I don't have on my Genos! Great demo and thank you again for your services.
@@joshuaswannmusic6462 They are the same keys and mechanism as my MODX, so quite a light touch but I got used to them very quickly. Good dynamics and quiet keybed.
HEY GRAHAM? YOU ARE A BRILLIANT MUSICIAN! I HOPE YOU ARE MAKING YOUR OWN MUSIC AND SHARING IT WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD! AND IF YOU ARE NOT? YOU SHOULD BE!
Amazing. I ordered one before I've seen your demonstration. After order, I was insure, if the sx700 should be besser, but the price difference (maybe only for the touchdisplay) ... After your demonstration I am really sure it's the right one... and I'm already very excited, cause have to wait for it maybe for 2 weeks. As long I enjoy the demonstration here ;0) Thank you.
Good review. Is it enough of a difference to pick this over sx700 because of this having the unison and accent functions for a more controllable live action for gigs? My main focus is to have more control when playing along with the styles. What do you think? Kind Regards.
Too much to explain in a text, sorry. Details are in the manual , or if you purchased the product from Rimmers Music, pop into one of our stores and someone will help you. www.rimmersmusic.co.uk/our-stores-i139 Kindest regards Graham
Hi nice post thanks. This unit is more than double price of new 61 key Yamaha PSR EW473. If u have had a chance to play both would you say sx600 is a noticeable step up in quality of piano voices compared with 473? Also is key action same between the 2 units? Cheers Isaac
The sx600 is miles apart from the E473. The sound quality is almost at par with the bigger sx700 and sx900. E473 is decent only with its initial piano patch. The epianos are meh and organs aren't very good either. Rhythms too are much better on the sx600.

Are the keys good on this? I want to buy it but I’m just worried the keybed might be flimsy like the MODX series.

The sax sound is just quality enough for my homestudio...if the strings like cello/ violin is also great its a winner
Man that Classical Gas was brilliant! Thank you for this great demonstration!
