need to ensure you're on flat base to go straight with the rope. any weight or edge on either side, is no good....probably better to look straight and feel the tow when it comes in from behind....
tow rope at my indoor center in the uk doesnt have the bar catch, just straight rope. quite dificult at first to grip especially trying to teach young kids

What about putting the tow between the legs? I did it once by accident and since then it works great. I think it's more stable. Do u recommend it?
