Greetings to you from Morocco. Thank you all. This space brings back memories and nostalgia when I was 17 in Morocco. Work in Morocco is similar to that in Pakistan. There was a teacher in our garage named Hassan. He was like a godfather. We call him only when we are in trouble. As for tools, we make keys. We are always broke and need clothes and safety shoes. The workshop seemed like hell to me, but there was a lot of information and professionalism. This is a job that requires tough and patient people to learn professionalism and requires a strong memory. That is why I am proud of him, I am honored and proud of him, and in one of the heavenly holy books it is said: (And We sent down iron, in it is great strength and benefits for people.) The Holy Quran Surah Al-Hadid (25)
I was interested in the firing timings. I didn't really get to see how he did the timing. With the kind of smoke it was producing, i feel it wasn't timed well. If the engine isn't timed well, it will run rich or lean, and eventually, it will seize. Another thing is that torque value, especially at fastening the crankshaft, is very important during the operation of the engine. If one bearing is tighter than the other, it will not be well lubricated well, and therefore, there is a high chance of engine knocking.
@@umarshahzad3087 When you just put an engine like that together all the oil you use on the parts during assembly will get into the combustion chamber and then smoke for about half an hour until it is burnt off. Very normal.
They doing what thet can with what they have ..if the out come of the repair is a positive outcome ok ..i enjoy watching folks who want to work to get the desired.. outcome thanks for the video
Always interesting and nice to see these creative mechanics. Question "how long do all those repairs last?" The engineblock looked like shit when they opened it for the maintenance.
These guys always seem to have a ''observer'' present, one guy who just stands there and watches what everybody else is doing, I think he is there for quality control.
These guys blow me away. Does not look like too many tea breaks. The only part that I don’t understand, torque settings, how they remember how to put it all together again, tolerances of engine parts. You would think for that extra step, would certainly warrant more care? That aside, these guys are absolutely amazing, and bearing in mind how much would their pay packet be? Probably peanuts. You guys are fantastic😮
You can always tell who's the boss by how clean they are and when all they do is stand around and just watch , yet somehow they get all the credit as if they did the hard work.
Before you break an engine you wash all the dirt off and place the engine were is a cement floor, sand ,dirt pebbles could damage components if tools are place in the floor especially when putting it together, they should have people keeping the place and tools clean, other than that they are hard working men
No they understand it on a much higher level than you . They know what parts can and can’t get damaged and they also clean everything perfectly before it’s put back on
everyone can say anything but they work very hard and a lot of effort,we can do our way but they do with their way, anyway enjine can run like usually...
Very nice job ,but please be carfule use some tools to make laouding more safe and check slings and the hocks , be carful from Back pain and disc, God with you all .

I agree with who’s lot of the professionals say this guys might not fallow the rules or the book instruction but a least they aren’t scared about a big projects not to long ago I brought my 6.9 idi to a several different mechanics shops here in town for a head gasket and no one wanted to take the job a lot of them even say on their website that there isn’t a job to big for them but they where scare of a 6.9 idi I end up doing it myself I’ll never try to hire anyone for my car repairs never again
The epitome of a well cared for and maintained engine, obviously really well serviced! Sorry I Don't mean to be harsh but I can't stand to see things like that, regardless of how much I actually enjoy the video!
What I don't understand is why they make things so hard on themselves. They obviously have the capability and the materials to make an engine stand that will allow them to turn the engine in place 360 degrees so they can disassemble and assemble but they insist on crowbars and spare tires. I don't get it.
It's all a matter of priorities. Once these world-famous "super high skilled professionals" invented brooms, tables, chairs and toilet bowls, it's the turn of engine stands.

Reason to smoke was that they tested engine without turbo, it's a turbo engine, what do you think?
