A tip my husband taught me when you cannot find your car. Put your remote under your chin. Touching your chin, press the remote panic button and this will make the head and taillights of your car Flash on and off. My husband was a Automobile Service Director for multiple car franchises. He always had different Demos and many times, If I was using the vehicl, I 'd forget what car he was driving , no joke! This worked with most vehicles. You should check out Ford Transit or Dodge Ram 2500 for van options. Both of those are the most common vans for van life builds and more affordable than Mercedes in the long run. Hope that helps and good luck with your van search!

2 weeks ago you were at barely maybe 7k. That’s when I subscribed when you randomly popped up on my recommendations on TH-cam. 2 weeks later you 10x your subscribes which is crazy. Word of advice maybe not the best idea as a homeless person to quit your job, 2nd to drive to one of the most expensive cities in the US, 3rd look for a van at a MERCEDES DEALERSHIP & 4th wasting gas driving around Hollywood when the cost of gas is still high in that area. I can see why people are now 50/50 in not believing if you’re homeless situation is legit or not. As for me, hey only god can judge you and I pray that if you really are homeless that you are able to get back on your feet but if you aren’t then hope you get yourself on the right path to correcting your life. I lived in LA my whole life and Beverly Hills is a whole different world. Have you tried looking online for vans for sale? CarGuru, AutoTrader, RVTrader, Edmunds, Carfax. My only piece of advice would to be careful of scams and your safety if going alone to meet with sellers. Maybe meet at a police station parking lot or somewhere that's being heavily monitored.

Make sure it is legit and not an attempt at someone trying to take advantage of you physically or financially..I truly hope it all works out but I grew up in L.A. and I know sometimes things are not always what they seem. That being said you are a very positive person who vibrates on a higher level as far as I can tell via TH-cam so it may be that you are drawing the positive back to you. Glad to see things are going so well so fast for you. If someone deserves a break, it's someone as kind-hearted as you seem to be. But be wary with social media. Lots of people gonna try and take advantage of your quick success. Also and don't take this the wrong way, be careful with big decisions like quitting your job, unless you're 100% certain you can afford it. TH-cam can be frickle and it's always best to be safe.

I would suggest you look for the van in a different state or at least different county. The taxes and prices vary depending on the area. Also prepare your budget before you go to the dealership that way you won’t waste time with sellers hitting on you 😄
Try Pacific Auto outside of LA, they had 100+ vans on the lot last time I bought my van from them. Sprinters, Promasters, & Transits. My advice would be not to jump the gun and buy one without doing deep research into each models pros and cons. As for a van that’s already built, you have 2 options. Buy one directly from the outfitter or buy one and then take it to them for the build out. That will cost you twice as much compared to building yourself, with labor tacked on, but if you don’t know how to build a van that could be easier. Vanspeed, SoCal Van Conversions, Campovans, & Outpost Vans are a few in SoCal to contact if you wanna buy a fully built van straight from them.

Hi Ari, I part time van life and when starting out there's a ton of options, from a basic setup like you use in your car to full on you might as well buy a condo expensive vans. Your experience living in your car gives you experience most starting van life don't have. They're plenty of TH-cam channels of people converting their vans which is quite an endeavor of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc, but vans already converted are pricey but they're companies that do it. Besides Sprinters, there's also the Ford Transit, and Dodge Promaster, as well as their smaller models. I wasn’t aware you we’re looking for Hollywood fame and fortune when your channel started. My impression was you were an introvert who liked your Mary Jane laid back quiet (kinda hippy life). You appeared to be a sweet Christian gal who had a rough family life for the last few years and you didn’t have any friends. It really was a heartwarming uplifting experience you shared of being a survivor, people really like that, your TH-cam channel exploded! We were very happy for you! You indicated that you were a bit lonely sometimes so you started your TH-cam channel and it gave you something to do when you got lonely in your car all alone. You’ve met a lot of people on TH-cam now who’ve been very worried for you, since you’re houseless in California. Many of these kind strangers have helped you financially, they only wanted the very best for you so they gave to you quite generously it appears. You had a decent job the last year but you got bored with it, so you quit. I’m sure that must have felt really good, were you able to give them some notice? It always helps to end a job well (2 weeks notice) so you can use them later as a good reference the next time you need a job, to be able to take care of yourself, it’s so hard out there all on your own as you already know. I’m honestly a bit confused since having a solid job/career is essential to provide for one’s self. There must be more than we know to this latest evolution in your life, it’s so good that you’re doing well enough now to be able to quit your steady job, many of us would love to do the same. You came out of an abusive relationship 1-2 years ago, (Arkansas?) you literally had to flee for your life to California to stay alive, however exposing your life by putting yourself on TH-cam wasn’t a concern obviously which is really good news that the ex-abuser boyfriend wasn’t looking for you after all. That must have given you some peace of mind as you can now freely share your life out in the open on Social Media while making all these new friends. You’re safe and free to be open and honest about everything you want to share with us, no more worries! That must be a great feeling. Maybe you received more financial help than any of us actually know, that makes sense because we started seeing you in more nice hotel rooms and out of that car. Van life probably does suite you, however Class B’s are very expensive, especially in California. Has your reason for being in California changed perhaps? Have you decided to try out Hollywood instead? With your TH-cam channel and your generous donors, you’ve done well for yourself in a short period of time and you’re in charge, maybe not so much if you chose Hollywood instead. Also, you’re frickin’ adorable. You seem like such a sweet, authentic, and gentle soul. Please just be careful living in your car out here. I was forced to do it upon moving here for the first 6 months. I was also in an abusive situation, but it’s what brought me to LA. Long story short, I was dating an abusive narcissist that threatened to kill my mother and wouldn’t let me go. I was afraid of retaliation if I tried breaking up with him, so I opted to move to LA with him to keep him away from my mother.😣🥺 So after a failed attempt to rent and getting bedbugs, we both ended up living in my little Nissan Sentra while we fumigated everything. (If you rent while you have bedbugs, you can fumigate, but they’ll just come back to you once your neighbors fumigate and they’ll go back and forth forever). He couldn’t handle it after 3 months and he had drained me of every ounce of happiness I had so there was NOTHING more for him to feed off of. And THANKFULLY, that’s what made him finally leave. I felt like he was genuinely done trying to be with me. 😓🙏🏽 But I ended up staying in my car for another 3 months alone… Try to steer clear of other homeless encampments or even just single unhoused individuals. I had a situation where I was watching a movie on my phone one night before falling sleep. And I had noticed this older white woman had been sleeping in a doorway across the street. Didn’t think anything of it, but she’d sit up periodically to take a swig of whatever booze she had…then abruptly, she gets up and storms over to my car and begins yelling at me about the homeless living on top on one another and we need to be spaced further apart out here and she starts banging on my partially opened window. She was hitting it so hard I was surprised it didn’t crack. I was able to start the car and take off, but dang, people get rowdy unexpectedly out here. You just never know. Also, beware of parking signs and their timeframes. If you park on a street that changes to a no parking zone come 8am, never park there unless you’re a morning person. Though, it’s hard not to sometimes. The meter maids are hardcore out here. I didn’t have curtains, so I was clearly visibly sleeping in my car, but the meter maid doesn’t care. You’ll get a ticket if the car is there past the sign’s time. Generally though, try not to let people see you get in your car for the night. NEVER EVER EVER park downtown overnight. And if you need a new gym membership for showering, the YMCA offers free 7-days passes. I did that at about 5-6 locations and it’s totally cool, they’re all their own individual entities so it’s doable. And if you wanna smoke some ouid sometime and chat, find me on insta @BelaMurosi ✌🏽😊
I think I know the type of van your looking for. Every dealership should have the van that your looking for, you just have to go a little further out of town to find one. Dealerships only sell to what the market is telling them in their area. So, Beverly Hills is not going to have a lot available but you go to the suburbs, you will find a better selection. If your trying to convert a van to live in, Dodge makes a good van to convert. Best of luck and stay safe out there.

Perhaps contact Squid Games directly (not with the contact number from that guy though) so you can ask them about it & if they know him etc. It's always wise to be cautious when you are contacted out of the blue. I’m so happy for you, Ari! I am concerned that you quit your job, though. You’ve only been doing YOuTube for a short period. Speaking from experience, TH-cam can come in waves. You can be doing really well some months then all of a sudden you’re not. Just remember to always have some type of backup. Also, people are right about emails. There are a lot of scams out there. A tip my husband taught me when you cannot find your car. Put your remote under your chin. Touching your chin, press the remote panic button and this will make the head and taillights of your car Flash on and off. My husband was a Automobile Service Director for multiple car franchises. He always had different Demos and many times, If I was using the vehicl, I 'd forget what car he was driving , no joke! This worked with most vehicles. You should check out Ford Transit or Dodge Ram 2500 for van options. Both of those are the most common vans for van life builds and more affordable than Mercedes in the long run. Hope that helps and good luck with your van search!

2 weeks ago you were at barely maybe 7k. That’s when I subscribed when you randomly popped up on my recommendations on TH-cam. 2 weeks later you 10x your subscribes which is crazy. Word of advice maybe not the best idea as a homeless person to quit your job, 2nd to drive to one of the most expensive cities in the US, 3rd look for a van at a MERCEDES DEALERSHIP & 4th wasting gas driving around Hollywood when the cost of gas is still high in that area. I can see why people are now 50/50 in not believing if you’re homeless situation is legit or not. As for me, hey only god can judge you and I pray that if you really are homeless that you are able to get back on your feet but if you aren’t then hope you get yourself on the right path to correcting your life. I lived in LA my whole life and Beverly Hills is a whole different world. Have you tried looking online for vans for sale? CarGuru, AutoTrader, RVTrader, Edmunds, Carfax. My only piece of advice would to be careful of scams and your safety if going alone to meet with sellers. Maybe meet at a police station parking lot or somewhere that's being heavily monitored.

Make sure it is legit and not an attempt at someone trying to take advantage of you physically or financially..I truly hope it all works out but I grew up in L.A. and I know sometimes things are not always what they seem. That being said you are a very positive person who vibrates on a higher level as far as I can tell via TH-cam so it may be that you are drawing the positive back to you. Glad to see things are going so well so fast for you. If someone deserves a break, it's someone as kind-hearted as you seem to be.
But be wary with social media. Lots of people gonna try and take advantage of your quick success.
Also and don't take this the wrong way, be careful with big decisions like quitting your job, unless you're 100% certain you can afford it.

I would suggest you look for the van in a different state or at least different county. The taxes and prices vary depending on the area. Also prepare your budget before you go to the dealership that way you won’t waste time with sellers hitting on you 😄

Try Pacific Auto outside of LA, they had 100+ vans on the lot last time I bought my van from them. Sprinters, Promasters, & Transits. My advice would be not to jump the gun and buy one without doing deep research into each models pros and cons. As for a van that’s already built, you have 2 options. Buy one directly from the outfitter or buy one and then take it to them for the build out. That will cost you twice as much compared to building yourself, with labor tacked on, but if you don’t know how to build a van that could be easier. Vanspeed, SoCal Van Conversions, Campovans, & Outpost Vans are a few in SoCal to contact if you wanna buy a fully built van straight from them.

Hi Ari, I part time van life and when starting out there's a ton of options, from a basic setup like you use in your car to full on you might as well buy a condo expensive vans. Your experience living in your car gives you experience most starting van life don't have. They're plenty of TH-cam channels of people converting their vans which is quite an endeavor of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc, but vans already converted are pricey but they're companies that do it. Besides Sprinters, there's also the Ford Transit, and Dodge Promaster, as well as their smaller models. Anyway, I just wanted to pass on that they're many options and TH-cam is a great place to see what others have done. Best Wishes, cheers!!

I wasn’t aware you we’re looking for Hollywood fame and fortune when your channel started. My impression was you were an introvert who liked your Mary Jane laid back quiet (kinda hippy life). You appeared to be a sweet Christian gal who had a rough family life for the last few years and you didn’t have any friends. It really was a heartwarming uplifting experience you shared of being a survivor, people really like that, your TH-cam channel exploded! We were very happy for you!
You indicated that you were a bit lonely sometimes so you started your TH-cam channel and it gave you something to do when you got lonely in your car all alone. You’ve met a lot of people on TH-cam now who’ve been very worried for you, since you’re houseless in California. Many of these kind strangers have helped you financially, they only wanted the very best for you so they gave to you quite generously it appears. You had a decent job the last year but you got bored with it, so you quit. I’m sure that must have felt really good, were you able to give them some notice?
It always helps to end a job well (2 weeks notice) so you can use them later as a good reference the next time you need a job, to be able to take care of yourself, it’s so hard out there all on your own as you already know. I’m honestly a bit confused since having a solid job/career is essential to provide for one’s self. There must be more than we know to this latest evolution in your life, it’s so good that you’re doing well enough now to be able to quit your steady job, many of us would love to do the same.
You came out of an abusive relationship 1-2 years ago, (Arkansas?) you literally had to flee for your life to California to stay alive, however exposing your life by putting yourself on TH-cam wasn’t a concern obviously which is really good news that the ex-abuser boyfriend wasn’t looking for you after all. That must have given you some peace of mind as you can now freely share your life out in the open on Social Media while making all these new friends. You’re safe and free to be open and honest about everything you want to share with us, no more worries! That must be a great feeling.
Maybe you received more financial help than any of us actually know, that makes sense because we started seeing you in more nice hotel rooms and out of that car. Van life probably does suite you, however Class B’s are very expensive, especially in California. Has your reason for being in California changed perhaps? Have you decided to try out Hollywood instead?
With your TH-cam channel and your generous donors, you’ve done well for yourself in a short period of time and you’re in charge, maybe not so much if you chose Hollywood instead. Now people are scared that you’re going to get kidnapped and be turned out by human traffickers. I guess anything could happen but you seem to be fearless and quite capable. What are your hope and dreams, aspirations in life?
Could you careless if you seen a homeless man on the street with nothing, just sitting in the rain with no shelter? .. Probably not, because I've seen people walk past people like this many times without a care in the world... Her stories are just past stories as far as I'm concerned that shes opened up on to TH-cam, and I could do the same, with probably no success.. She has the looks and personality going for her, and I think thats the reason for her success to date. Good luck to her, but I think some people, specifically her donors might be a bit confused about her situation.

Nothing about the way she acts tells me she is struggling in any way, shape or form. By contrast, I know people who work 3 jobs and barely pay the bills. Hey love, good luck on your journey.🙏🏽 ✨ I’m so intrigued watching you because I feel like I’m watching myself when I first moved to LA about 6 years. Our stories feel very similar. Also, you’re frickin’ adorable. You seem like such a sweet, authentic, and gentle soul.
Please just be careful living in your car out here. I was forced to do it upon moving here for the first 6 months. I was also in an abusive situation, but it’s what brought me to LA. Long story short, I was dating an abusive narcissist that threatened to kill my mother and wouldn’t let me go. I was afraid of retaliation if I tried breaking up with him, so I opted to move to LA with him to keep him away from my mother.😣🥺
So after a failed attempt to rent and getting bedbugs, we both ended up living in my little Nissan Sentra while we fumigated everything. (If you rent while you have bedbugs, you can fumigate, but they’ll just come back to you once your neighbors fumigate and they’ll go back and forth forever). He couldn’t handle it after 3 months and he had drained me of every ounce of happiness I had so there was NOTHING more for him to feed off of. And THANKFULLY, that’s what made him finally leave. I felt like he was genuinely done trying to be with me. 😓🙏🏽 But I ended up staying in my car for another 3 months alone…
Try to steer clear of other homeless encampments or even just single unhoused individuals. I had a situation where I was watching a movie on my phone one night before falling sleep. And I had noticed this older white woman had been sleeping in a doorway across the street. Didn’t think anything of it, but she’d sit up periodically to take a swig of whatever booze she had…then abruptly, she gets up and storms over to my car and begins yelling at me about the homeless living on top on one another and we need to be spaced further apart out here and she starts banging on my partially opened window. She was hitting it so hard I was surprised it didn’t crack. I was able to start the car and take off, but dang, people get rowdy unexpectedly out here. You just never know.
Also, beware of parking signs and their timeframes. If you park on a street that changes to a no parking zone come 8am, never park there unless you’re a morning person. Though, it’s hard not to sometimes. The meter maids are hardcore out here. I didn’t have curtains, so I was clearly visibly sleeping in my car, but the meter maid doesn’t care. You’ll get a ticket if the car is there past the sign’s time. Generally though, try not to let people see you get in your car for the night. NEVER EVER EVER park downtown overnight. And if you need a new gym membership for showering, the YMCA offers free 7-days passes. I did that at about 5-6 locations and it’s totally cool, they’re all their own individual entities so it’s doable. And if you wanna smoke some ouid sometime and chat, find me on insta @BelaMurosi ✌🏽😊
I think I know the type of van your looking for. Every dealership should have the van that your looking for, you just have to go a little further out of town to find one. Dealerships only sell to what the market is telling them in their area. So, Beverly Hills is not going to have a lot available but you go to the suburbs, you will find a better selection. If your trying to convert a van to live in, Dodge makes a good van to convert. Best of luck and stay safe out there.

Perhaps contact Squid Games directly (not with the contact number from that guy though) so you can ask them about it & if they know him etc. It's always wise to be cautious when you are contacted out of the blue. You can be doing really well some months then all of a sudden you’re not. Just remember to always have some type of backup. Also, people are right about emails. There are a lot of scams out there. Just a quick tip on the van search, check out dealerships in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. The taxes on the vehicle will be significantly lower and generally have a great selection to choose from
