Thank you so very much Allison. I’ve been wanting to do a slow stitch fritillaria project for a long time now so this was the perfect opportunity. Cheers, Christine
I love the Fritillaria, and almost chose it! It will be interesting to see how you represent it. I also like trying to follow the look of the old Field Note journals. TFS!
The snake’s head fritillary is one of my favourite flowers, we have a couple of patches in the garden where they come up every year, I love to take a close look at them as the markings are so fine. 🌸🌸🌸
Very exotic looking flower! Thank you for sharing canva. I’ll look for it. Love your accompanying little book! I have a little book as well where I was thinking of attaching the dried flowers I collected as the flowers and herbs come to life ( as an accompanying booklet). Hope you’ll get a lot of sleep and rest to recharge. Have a good night, Christine. 🌸tess
Congratulations on printing on fabric, I did mine for the first time to, the other day. It’s a lovely bulb.. That is a really great idea. I have Epson eco tank 3800 just bought it 4 days ago… I will down load that app…. Really appreciate all your wonderful ideas…….
What a pretty and unusual flower. I can see why you were enamored with it. Love that you got brave with printing on fabric, it’s fun. I haven’t seen that type of printing fabric here, but have used commercial printing fabric and also my own printing on freezer paper with muslin. Love the process you’re coming up with. I’ve tried Canva but haven’t been successful playing with it yet. I need to play more. Hope you can rest and get feeling better and get ack to creating more. Hoping work is getting better for you.
Lovely flower to actually have blooming in your garden. Thanks for showing how well the image printed on the fabric I have been considering purchasing a inkjet printer for a few months because the laser printer doesn't much like anything but paper. The little book is so sweet.
Hi Christine, this is looking like it's gonna be fabulous! It's so cool that you can include flowers from your own garden and your own words! I don't know if you mentioned and I just didn't hear but I was worried how your dad is doing? Hopefully continuing to improve! I hope you have a great dsy! TFS 😊
Hi Kim - thanks so much. Dad is continuing to improve but still some things to be investigated further medically. He is still very weary. Thank you for your kind thoughts and sending them your way too xx
Snakes head fritillary is a very famous flower where I’m from. Oxford England has some very famous fields with this rare flower. They are protected in the UK. They are one of my favourite flowers. ❤❤❤
@@createandcraftwithchristine they are truly wonderful. If you look online there are several pictures posted, Iffley Fields and Magdalen College have them in Oxford.

One high one low. drop to the below row. On the knitted piece. Or cross rows with the skeleton image of the petal beside the stems. The image shows angular lines. Gives a chevron look
