Just wondering if you decontaminated/clayed the vehicle prior to this test. I think your results would've been quicker and better if you had. Hearing that scratching sound only makes me wonder if you're at risk of putting scratches in the paint as well.
Thanks for the feedback! You're right about that. I was still safe and cautious when removing and checking my work and didnt leave behind totally scratched up paint
@@mobulldetailing Sounds to me like you dodged a bullet. Where I live, we have hard water which as you know, leaves minerals deposits as it dries resulting in water spots. Rubbing in those sediments while in the process of removing the etched-in water spots may have created another issue (and more work) of putting scratches in the already thin clear coat.
It works best if you blot it on over the area and let it sit for a few seconds and then wipe the area and then rinse
