This gun is awesome a forward step in the Pellet co2 blowback. Imo I like pellets over bbs and it's always been harder to make a pellet pistol. The only downside is the belt fed pellet/mag/co2 holder is a design that needs to be completely revised. 1. Ive always hated mags with the c02 and ammo combined because every time u need to reload you loose co2 connection and that's less co2 on a gun that is already eating co2 like crazy for the blowback. 2. The rotating belt design seems to always have the flaw of jamming. I've seen a few different companies attempt this design over the years. Never works well in the end. I feel like the belt needs to be more robust or something else entirely maybe. It's jamming way too much even with all the maintenance. So separate the co2 into a compartment in the gun itself to not loose extra when reloading (the beretta px4 storm co2 is a great example of this andstill one of if not the best pellet co2 blowback) but we seem to still all be stuck with dual 8 round flipper mags until something else is invented. I also think a blowback needs to up the power to atleast 400 with lead pellets. Stop using plastic pellets ad advertisement for high fps....it doesn't reflect normal usage. I've found though it is very hard to get 400 fps out of pellets vs bbs with co2 blowback but it's definitely possible. Maybe that's too powerful for euro market? But can't they just have different valve for those vs us? I've loved watching pellet/bb guns evolve over the last few years and there seems to be no sign in slowing down! As a shooter sometimes though you need to choose between best functions and power vs realism. The more realistic usually the less powerful imo. Especially on all metal replicas. The polymer reps definitely help blow back and power but cuts back on realism. That tug of war will always be going on with pellet and bb guns imo. But a man can hope! Maybe near the end of my lifetime haha
I dunno about that. I have the Sig MCX air rifle and it has 30rd belt fed magazines... I've never once had a hiccup with them. Now, those belts come out when you load them, and then you feed it into the magazine...so maybe that difference is why? All that being said, I like their reliability far far more than the little 8 shot cylinder inserts. Something always wears out eventually and they don't feed pellets right
Blowback taking up more gas yes, but 'losing gas' doesnt happen when taking the mag out. The co2 cart is in the mag against a sealed needle. Gas is released when you pull the trigger. Then again i guess it probably does slowlllyyyyy leak the entire time its in the gun.
@@BlueDevilChevy seal might be going bad? Put a drop of silicone oil on it. Let it set. Don't leave a cartridge in it and never leave one in it with pressure in it.

Ive got an all metal 92fs that shoots .177 steel bbs, made by gsg i think. Their really realistic model is their tanfoglio witness (1911). The 92fs of mine has a broken seer so now the safety toggle has safe, da/sa semi, and automatic positions lol. Full auto is fun but too impractical so i usually repair it when it breaks. Its got some oomph to it too, could easily take varmint or small game like birds up to a large rabbit. I just use it to plink cans and do simple acquisition exercises. Pellets are better than bbs, ballistics-wise, but bbs are accurate enough. What i like is the attention to detail, and a pet peeve of mine is when a bb/pellet gun features blowback but the slide only moves like an inch. So i appreciate that the 92fs and tanfoglios slides move back as far or very close to as far as the real thing.

If you get a spring powered one and diesel it aka (put one drop of 3 in 1 oil in the back of the pellet) the thing will fire as powerful as a .22 pistol 👍🏻
CO2 pistols with blowback slide get somewhere around 45 on a single 12 gram CO2. Just depends on how long you wait between shots as well as the environmental temperature.
Generally, pellets and the rifled barrel of the pellet version will provide more accuracy. If just shooting 12" targets for practice at 7 yards you'd be fine either way.

If you need more umph, get a CO2 rifle or the new NitroAir Rifle, the Umarex Komplete.
@@UmarexAir Thank you will look into those. More preferably a hand size pistol though. any suggestions? I was looking at the Beretta M92 .177??
Hey umarex can you guys do a sight ready version of the Beretta apx A1?
You mean optic ready? 🤔
I love mine two
And we a pretty fond of you. And the GLOCK.
Nice. Downside you gona use more gas because of the slide recoil action.. i had a colt replica also co2. But sold it to pay for my real gun compency training etc
Yeah, blowback airguns use some of the gas to move the slide. Good point.
Jad to biy a second one yesterday. (Brother liked mine so much i had to hand it over..lol)
Shoots just like my 1st one. I'm impressed for the 2nd time.👍
Nice!! Thank you much.
Do these guns need a special brand of c02 or can any brand work?
Any brand "should" work but some are better than others. Of course we suggest Umarex brand CO2.
How much? Can this be shipped out to the Philippines?
I'm sorry, we don't ship from the U.S. to the Philippines.
I’ve got a couple of them, but the last one I bought, I only used one CO2 cartridge and the next time I went to use it all the air was wasted on the cartridge
I'm sorry to hear this. Obviously, we can't diagnose via a YT comment. Feel free to call us durin business hours. Tips and Tricks info: It's advisable to put a drop of silicone oil, we use RWS Chamber Lube, on the tip of each cartridge when inserting it to lubricate the seal and internals. It's also recommended that one should not leave any pressure in the cartridge meaning use the whole cartridge of CO2 in one session or empty it when done because constant pressure on the seal will shorten its lifespan.
Is a weapon like this good for practice for a real weapon ? Sry for my english
Air powered versions are great for practice.
It's only a name, nothing more nothing less. My Taurus is perfect
Different strokes for different folks. Nothing against Taurus but don't have a license with them.

Do these accept auto the switch for rapid fire? If so, would you get in trouble for putting one on a airsoft gun?
You know I'm not even gonna waste my time telling you
The piece in this video is a pellet pistol. There are airsoft pistols that come in full-auto. Check out EliteForceAirsoft.com

Does the slide lock back when the magazine's empty like it does on the 4.5mm version?
It doesn't. Different mechanism.
@@UmarexAir Ah, ok, thank you.
I bought one of your 4.5mm 17 Gen 4s yesterday, it's reeeeeeeally nice. 👌🏻
Is this available in stores in trinidad and tobago
No idea. Sorry. Might ask our folks in the Europe office: umarex.de
How much pellet type?
check it out at umarexairguns dot com
Do you need to use pellets
It is specifically made for .177 pellets, not BBs.
@@UmarexAir :(
is umarex the one that makes their airsofts out of metal?
Yeah
We have many models of airsoft that are made of metal. See EliteForceAirsoft.com
It's definitely good for self-defense or home defense
Its can make you bleed
Not recommended. For defense take a look at www.prepared2protect.com/
