Hey Lorna, i think your works are absolutely brilliant and it's a real pleasure to know that there are people who love to share their art with others! Lots of compliments, you are in my top 3! Greetings from Italy
These are just so beautiful! I went to your website and must say I think I like everything you've created....seriously, there was not one I didn't think to my self, "Wow, this is amazing!"....very lovely!
Brilliant! hey do you use slip clay and score the clay to attach the delicate spikes? rather than meld each one on which would be impossible... i'm just learning about the slip method by watching youtube today... awesome, opens up loads of possibility!
Watch my pottery video. Catawba Pottery Lexington South Carolina - My father knew Foxx and Sarah Ayers personally when they lived in West Columbia, South Carolina. When Sarah had difficulty obtaining clay near the Catawba River (because of a dispute with a neighboring land owner) my father took them to our family land in Fairfield County in search of a source. I found a collection in my father’s closet. - Not one blemish. All pieces are with a 24 oz drink can. Checkout my video.
+Natalie Blake I rarely appreciate the modern piece of what so called pretended "artworks", but yours are really exceptionnal, i'm sincerely amazed and glad to look at your work, it's really inspired, there is a real work and sensibility behind. Thanks for your share, you made my day :) i'll stick watching your website for a long while ^^
