its a good mod for looks but keep in mind this will slightly hurt performance and increase torque steer (you may never notice) . The reason being is you are moving the scrub radius from a negative angle to positive by changing the offset. I made the mistake of going to a 18x8.5 +35 and getting a +20 gain where had I gone to a 18x9.4+45 it would have gone from -2 to +11

I would recommend lock tight, it just for extra measure. But worth it if it could save a life

I have way too much OCD to not clean the wheels before putting them back on. Best cleaning is off the car. I have 1,400 miles on my car, and have taken the wheels off 3 times to clean them after a wash.
I agree about taking the wheels off. I bought special brushes but that's just a stop Gap. Type R is a wonderful Performance Machine but what a bear to detail LOL
Good video...I actually have the exact same car and color going on a month now....I ordered the same exact spacers last night with the swift lowering springs and carbon fiber hood.....can't wait to see the new look of the car once everything is installed

Thanks brotha! same here, but the owner hasnt had any negative feedback and eventually put on aftermarket wheels without spacers.

Hey bro if someone does spacers would it be OK to put a lil lock tite on the nuts that mount the spacer to the studs? Less risck of them coming off? Or no need? 🧐
I’ve never done it but if it would make you feel better go for it! just torque it down properly and you’ll be good

Hmm. I got to be honest and say I don't like the spacers. To me by bringing the wheels out, you lose the detail of the flared arches. Everything just looks too flush now. Lovely car though for sure.

I’ve ran spacers on many cars. Get a reputable brand and always torque them down properly. Never had an issue
