Being someone who works on modern British tanks I can confirm all british frontline vehicles are equipped with a BV (Boiling Vessel) Vehicles fitted with the BV include Challenger 2 tanks, MAN trucks, and Warrior, Warthog, Mastiff, Jackal and Foxhound armoured fighting vehicles, and earlier CVR(T) and CVR(W) vehicles

Ariq Rahm It was one of my first premium vehicles, it’s okay, just it’s so slow, and at 6.0 has no real advantage the 17 pounder is lack lustre vs Tiger 2, 152mm armour is nothing at 6.3-6.7 (when you angle it’s okay, but by the time you get anywhere the enemy’s have already secured all the good firing positions or your friendlies have already destroyed everyone so you win doing almost nothing on some maps)

Yeah the mobility is troublesome and sometimes you win without doin anything at larger maps especially the cargo. Still its one of my favorite premium and still doing well dealing with 6.7/7 vehicles (being UK is a major advantage since the most well armored vehicles at the BR are US)
My Grandfather was involved in the work on the Churchill, I remember him telling me they changed the doors on the side from square to rounded edges as the corners would break under impact even if the shell did not penetrate. They wondered how the Battleships doors did not have the same problem even when facing greater fire power. Then they noted the curve on them.

Your kidding right? The churchill has a slow hull turn rate so the engine area will go slowly but since your tank is faster and more agile, you can 100% damage a churchill

Overall the Mk-III was the pinnacle of the tree, and most fun. Angled it could still take hits, and fire decently. I literaly helf down an entire flank solo with one early on when brit ground forces came out, killing 9 tanks.
Demose Aries I didn’t do so well in the Mk III the VII on the other hand I love it’s such a beast. Has no trouble taking fire from German 88 when angled slightly. On the other hand I can’t penetrate them either so it always turns into an awkward stalemate.
I love the Churchills and was very glad to see this video come out- but the hull MG still doesn't work, and only serves as an annoying weak point. Gaijin pls fix? Also Churchill AVRE when?
@@Scrump_Can Tbh the churchill crocodile wouldn't be very good at all in game. The flamethrower would see reasonable utility against unarmoured vehicles and against the rear of tanks with petrol engines, but it would do almost nothing to enemy tanks in game since optics don't affect visibility. It was great IRL at fighting and terrifying infantry, notably causing a lot of German infantry to surrender. But overall the rear fuel tank would slow the Churchill down even more and may even pose a threat to the Churchill if it is hit. The AVRE on the other hand has a 230mm mortar. It would be the biggest (highest diameter) tank gun in the game. Who doesn't want to launch 'flying dustbins' at the enemy?
I hope that they add both the version with the 290mm spiget mortar and the version with the 165mm gun, same as the cent avre's gun. Edit: corrected the calibre of the mortar
@@deg6788 well in my opinion, between Pz IV and M4 Sherman, both are easily popped by each other, but in term of overall gameplay, I'd favor the Sherman because of their mobility and stabilizer -- while the gun on Pz IV are easy to use, plus the add-on armor on the Pz IV is just so trolly that it's not even funny anymore

A43 would actually be worth using at 5.3 or 5.7. Both the gun and armour is that of 4.7 tanks. And it slower than a 4.7 too. It would also actually be used a lot then, the thing is extremely rare right now.
Churchill mk3 with that 6 pounder with 131 mm of pen and when angled can take hits from panzer 4 & it take on a tiger at about 500-300meters , wish it had Add on armour

It was not that fast because it was not designed too, the churchill was an infantry tank, designed too support infantry, wich cant move at 40kph, the brithis had the cruiser tanks for fast movement like the crusader or cromwell
No, no. These are great for artillery. Folk keep bunching up allowing me to get multiple assisted kills. And when folk try to cover the cap with SPGs, well, they are easy picking too. I do wonder a) why folk bunch up so much, and b) why few players utlise artillery?
None of em, by the time you get the VII it's better to just take an Avenger, or a Firefly. The Churchill is too big, too slow, sees too many uptiers and doesn't hit hard enough to be competitive. The only good one that does well in any case is the German one. I love British tanks but I'd bring a hundred Crusaders or Cromwells before I'd consider using any Churchill in game.

Churchill VII should be downtiered. It's can't fight against any longer German 75mm if enemy hits first shot. This tank have 110mm of penetration from 10 meters. It's barely can do anything to Tiger I that is 5.3 and Churchill is 4.7 so you will often fight against Tiger.
The Churchill tanks were not named after Winston Churchill they were named after John Churchill 1st Duke of Marlborough one of Winston's ancestors and one of the UK's greatest ever Generals the Blenheim Bomber was also named after on of John Churchills greatest victories.
Pretty sure the Churchills that were captured by the Germans at Dieppe were the Mk.1 Variants with the 3inch howitzer in the hull as their is photos of them all over the place, not sure they'd of sent the mk.3 variant so that information is wrong.
My favourite Churchill was Winston. He had at least 300mm of frontal armour(belly) and his main gun (cigar) was always smoking.

I remember encountering a Churchill III before. Since I couldn't kill it with my M4, I just bully it by destroying it's tracks.

The Mk VII is good if you angle hull and then angle the turret while reloading, then don't aim it at enemy until they waste shot.

@zimman56 The Churchill has better armour than the Tiger a full BR below it mate. Also yeah it still works for the Tiger, assuming you don't try to facehug everything you meet and engage from a distance.

Churchill VII should be downtiered. It's can't fight against any longer German 75mm if enemy hits first shot. This tank have 110mm of penetration from 10 meters. It's barely can do anything to Tiger I that is 5.3 and Churchill is 4.7 so you will often fight against Tiger.
