Amazing! I felt something unlock within me as I was doing the stances. They felt so natural. Though it's still hard because I'm overweight. When I was doing them my body felt loose like I knew what I was doing. Hopefully I get to practice more and master the stances. Thank you for this!
Some timestamps to help me and people out:
    8:54 - Gong Bu = Bow Stance
    9:50 - Ma Bu = Horse Stance
    10:30 - Xu Bu = Empty Stance
    11:43 - Ding Bu = T-Stance
    12:12 - Xie Bu = Resting Stance
    13:10 - Pu Bu = Crouching Stance
Warm up and Warning down is a must!

Don't push too deep to early. Calling some of these postures "beginner" is a bit off. First day Tai Chi Chuan stepping would be Sink down, shift weight, empty foot, peel foot up, step out, check the area in which you are stepping, shift to, shift back, peel foot up and step back in. This man was displaying advanced postures. Drop stance isn't beginner Tai Chi...maybe week 5 or 6 but day one? Opening Step contains so much knowledge and needed work to do all these postures correctly. I'll post a video tomorrow.

Outstanding my only Critique. Everyone on TH-cam shows movement, you have incredible control it is important that people see how you are able to do this. Jibengong stretching, conditioning and stances video, beginner, intermediate and advanced (I can remember holding Ma-Bu and Xu-but for a long time as a child and it’s paid off)And please explain Fa-jing and Dan-Tien it would help out people a lot. Other than that great video.

I'm currently stuck in the covid shelter in Shanghai and and a thought popped into my head - well, I can't do yoga here, but why not give tai chi a try.
I've been seeing these amazing elderly people in the local parks practicing tai chi and I was always astonished by the beauty, flawlessness, and perfection of their moves, like water waves.
And I tried today and it definitely is a new milestone for me, I loved it. It's very similar to yoga in a way. But different, here you practice more balance standing on your feet.
And your explanations and tips for beginners are super helpful, cuz it's definitely hard to make it smooth.
Hope you are safe and healthy!

Fire destroys earth - water destroys fire - 5 Elements Theory - sorry you are not following fundamentals related to Wu Hsing (Xing). The five phases are wood (mu), fire (huo), earth (tu), metal (jin), and water (shui); these elements are regarded as dynamic, interdependent modes of the Universe's ongoing development - study before you 'pretend' to *be* - okay, Mr. Wade?

@@MasterSongKungFu I know Bruce Lee did much to get so strong as he was...EATING RIGHT IS IMPORTANT.......so no junk foods.....just eat healthy foods...If we eat as our ancient ancestors did, we would do well......Bruce Lee did a lot of "juicing", also.... fresh veggie juices were his big thing ....plus all the intense daily working out he did....especially after he got severely injured, and had to work really really hard to get out of the wheelchair he was stuck in......It is all about continuous , consistent hard work, to "get back in shape", ever increasing, gently, slowly, as you are ready, the level of difficulty, if you have lost muscle tone, as I have, from just "sitting around" too much...I am an artist, so I spend a lot of time doing my artwork, painting, sculpture, drawing, etc, so, I tend to "sit" way too much...and then, I spend too much time "on the computer" too.....(bad)..so my whole body gets sore, painful, and feeling "tired"...In Zen, we are taught that there are "4 dignities of man", sitting, lying down, standing up, and walking....."Too much" of any one of these 4, and we become "out of balance"...We need all 4...in the right amounts, daily, nightly, to be "healthy".......I am 60 now, so I feel it more and more, as I get "older"......the damage I do to myself by "sitting" too much........The MAIN thing is, the "most important thing"....is to "move the body" as much as you can, to get stronger and more flexible....Going out...walking, and "running", (not "jogging"...but sprinting at high speed...like up hills etc....) out in Nature ...especially if you lucky enough to live by mountains, or hills, will help.....to get back in shape..You do not need a gym, or a lot of space even, to get in shape..Bodhidarma, spent years in a cave, up on the side a remote mountain cliff, to develop the animal forms, and gained a super-human strength, from his little cliff-side ledge he lived and practiced on.......You just need a little open space, determination, and put the time needed on working on yourself to get back in shape......Doing "push ups", by using the first 2 knuckles, is good, and then, at the same time, using the 5 outstretched fingers also..on a nice soft sandy or grassy surface...on the Earth........starting out slowly, with 3...4..5...then 10...15..then 20, as you get stronger, will help the arms and hand strength..."20" is a good number to stick with.....No need to do 50 or 100 push-ups.....too many gets you "injured"....People need advice about this kind of thing......because they just don't know where or how, to start....and many feel scared to even try , because it all looks "so impossible" to them, all the amazing Kung Fu seen in movies, etc.....So the people need guidance, in what they can really do ...to get them over the "fear of trying"......to get them to realize that there is much they can do, and as they go along, they become "more inspired" to push further, to expand their skills and abilities......to do what they thought was "impossible" for them.....

I have looked at the other videos on other channels and I concluded you are the most informative. I am way too old for any Kung Fu but for me Tai Chi would be a good choice.
I did Shotokan years ago but I had to deal with a family health issue that came up. Later I did yoga but the stances got old. I am surprised my legs are still strong and I am still flexible. I will be watching and doing the video for a long time before moving on to part two. Thank you for teaching Tai Chi.
