Here from Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki. Everything about that book wonderfully illustrates the feeling of comfortable desolation, missing out, and dissociation. This piece and the book works so damn well together in a beautiful but tragic way. It's not sadness or loneliness even. It's a feeling when you sit by the window watching the rain trickle. There's nothing in your mind but wondering when will the rain end.
I love how you put the skyline in the backround...it fits it so well. If you don't feel like your at a hole in the wall, on the upper east side, a 2:30 in the morning, alone at the bar, drowning your sorrows....well you just don't get it.
This is terrific. You don't go overboard with playing the piece too quickly like some pianists do, and it appears that you bring out all of the dynamics in the piece. Terrific!
I worked my way through Southeastern La. College with Bill Evans laying some lovely chords. I think that he would have appreciated your good taste. Merry Christmas from an 80 year old ex trumpet tooter.
Omg yes that’s exactly how I got here about 6 years ago. Ever since I visit this one video and think of that scene. I’m so glad it brought you here too
You are very welcome :) You certainly possess the quality of the old piano masters including Monk but still unique, and in fact more beautiful than them in many ways...I thank YOU for making me happy!
That descending line at 1:52 to 1:55 swung so damn hard man. I get goosebumps listening to that part. I find myself constantly watching and coming back to your videos.
You are improvising beautifully and in a way you are making the song as yours by using your style but still without loosing the core, I really like this because most of the time one cannot even recognise what the song is..
Thanks Helvien, this is one of my impromptu arrangement. I have only the basic version of the "jazz fake books". Most of the songs jazz standard. I take from this book, and then arranged by me.
This is just amazing! Even though I am not a regular jazz listener, I just love your videos. Having my eyes closed and listening to you playing piano, it feels like I am floating on the clouds. keep up the good work:)
This is just great, love your videos. You have a fantastic modern sound with lush harmonies and inspire me and Im sure others as well to be better jazz pianists.
Alfonso Bravo!!You've done a really good job, as always. Gostei muito, e obrigado por mais este presente de Natal. FELIZ NATAL para você e sua família. Antonio
Most beautiful! i'm pianist myself and i enjoy listening great piano music a lot. I've recently become bigtime jazz fan and I was hoping that could you give me some tips how to start learnig jazzpiano?
Hey, I was wondering if you could do a video on how you are inspired to write these, like what chrod progressions you use as well, as I want to learn how to play with this kind of finesse, but it's tough to get started. Thanks and keep making this wonderful music.
Beautiful phrasing... some real little gems you're dropping in there! I wish the guitar had as much range and flexibility sometimes... thats all part of the challenge tho
Hi KurtIngvarB, the DGX-620 or 630 is a e.piano with "Authentic" grand piano feel (88 Graded Hammer Keyboard) However, I advise you to look into Google, is very easy. Just look all the details of this inexpensive and very good keyboard. Once you find the details, print them and bring them to your strange "music store" If they continue to say that does not exist on this model, then I suggest you immediately change the "Music Store" :-)

me too
This pianist's sounds and chords are so rich and emotionally charged
Your music pairs perfectly with this fat doobie and tall glass of ice cold orange juice. I like to listen to it while i watch the sunset.

The beauty of this piece is not hampered by time. It is forever
Thanks! 🙂
I love the black and white effects and the whole performance. I feel in lurrvve.

U mean he plays it good or bad?
@@JD-wo3pp he wrote terrific, not terrible. So he thinks that Pianistaitaliano plays it extraordinary well, and i am agree with him.

Omg yes that’s exactly how I got here about 6 years ago. Ever since I visit this one video and think of that scene. I’m so glad it brought you here too

I played for years and this is truly beautiful .
I like the swing on the bridge. I also like the reverb you achieve from sitting on top of that building. :-p
You are very welcome :) You certainly possess the quality of the old piano masters including Monk but still unique, and in fact more beautiful than them in many ways...I thank YOU for making me happy!

Beautiful play......I'm liten to time and time.....unearthly atmosphere..... Thanks :)
Hank Jones and Monk himself have done incredible things with this song, but I put your version up there with theirs. Wonderful!
You are improvising beautifully and in a way you are making the song as yours by using your style but still without loosing the core, I really like this because most of the time one cannot even recognise what the song is..

It's a best piano song that I ever heard! You are the Best! How much would you sell to me sheets? And sorry about my English.
