Thanks for watching! Takk for at du så på!
That tram operator must be a gamer. He even rides the 420 tram. What a legend 😂
Thon Hotels (and shopping centers) were owned by Olav Thon, who passed away a few months ago at age 101.
He was famous for his misfortune, as a lot of the preserved historic buildings he owned tragically burned to the ground in the 70's and 80's, but the silver lining was that he could then build new shopping centers and hotels in their place, that he otherwise wouldn't have been allowed to!
We love forsikringssvindel
Interesting. Thanks for sharing
Awesome video! 😁 It was fun to see you going around the Scandic Sjølyst area 😁 I work pretty close to the hotel, and yeah it’s a pretty new and modern area 😊
Thanks! Quite the nice area with outdoor cafes etc
Hahahaha I never noticed the tram driver when I played that round! Man that cracked me up hahaha! Double bird!
Yeah! 😂
These Norway games raise my "Norway fever" and I get a desire to travel to there again, even my latest time was in September :D
If and when you ever do come to Norway, I recommend taking the train around the country, visit some random places around the country.
Not only do you get great views, but trains are also very comfortable and accommodating, and you get to experience how different we are around the country.
Sounds like the way to go. Maybe rent a EV so I can travel from Bodø to the Kirkenes?
@alloverthemap23 I've never been that far up north as Bodø and certainly not Kirkenes, so I could'nt tell you.
If you only visit the north you're missing out on alot, but hey I guess you could say the same if you only visit the more southern regions, but I like it down here where there's civilization 😅
@@alloverthemap23I did that from Hamar last summer, in a Tesla Y. Through Sweden, Finland, Kirkenes , North Cape, Bodø, Trondheim and back home. There is not as many chargers that far north, especially northeast, so I'd suggest a gas/dieselcar.
Do airports in Norway
Just one problem. It says the name of the city on almost all of them, so it will be too easy for him.
@ For smaller airports yes, but not airports like Gardermoen, Sola, Flesland, Værnes
@oslomapping Maybe I'm built different, in that I'm able to look at the huge sign outside the terminal at Flesland that goes "BERGEN?" and deduce what city it is near.
But for the rest of you, the smaller sign that says "AVINOR BERGEN LUFTHAVN FLESLAND" probably contains some good clues.
Værnes is the only one of these where you can't see the name of the city on the terminal building in Street View.
(BTW: He has visited both OSL and BGO before in other airport videos!)
Hahah, I was actually outside the hotel at location no 3(?) Vettre, last year. Very randomly, since it's close to nowhere and the only reason I was there was because of the progressive rock festival "We Låve Rock" :D
5:22 Not surprising, the tram drivers in Norway have the worst attitude (bus drivers too but are outclassed), they speed and try to make everyone's day worse, sometime ago one of them ran right into apple store because they don't know how to brake.
Norway and Finland are competing which of the two drinks more coffee per capita. worldatlas--written in 2020--Finland is leading at 12.0 kg per capita annually and Norway second, 9.9 kg. Then Iceland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and Canada. The USA was 25th on the list with 4.2 kg/person/year.
We need a lot of caffeine here in the darkness 😀
@@oh2mp I bet - I don't know how you do it! Mid December sun rises at ~ 8am and sets at 4pm here.
@ in the winter solstice the sun rises 9.26 and sets 15.14 in Helsinki. (My crazy numeric memory again) 😂
My favourite hotel in Norway is "Scandic Seilet" in Molde 😊 Otherwise most Radisson hotels are good. I live in Oslo and been years since I've stayed at one here. I travel all over Norway for work, so I have been to most hotels here
I lived in Slemmestad. I was a bus driver there. Miss the place...
Finally got to Alesund and it was the worst placed hotel😂 these are some incredible views from the one you tried first
Would be funny to do Airports, but you only got like one or two mooves
You could try "Bunnpris butikker i Norge" next
Darn it ! The Frichs hotel ruined my round.. All the rest where easy.
Do churches
You seem to love norway? 🤔
