In my opinion ninjago was at its peak with rebooted, tournament of elements, and possession. Great seasons, everyone got development, and the transition between them was epic and made so much sense.

My favorite season is sons of garmadon I love the darker tone it went for in this season. not one episode felt like that it wasn’t important for the season every episode was necessary and honestly just had the best story overall, and Lloyd is my favorite character cause I see a lot of myself in Lloyd and this just was the best Lloyd season. I really see no flaws with this season nothing of note anyway
to be honest my all time favorite fight scene from ninjago is lloyd vs garmadon in "true potential." This moment alone has everything I love in a major battle the music, which is my favorite in the series, the emotion, a battle between a boy who wants his father to remeber all and who he is and the ressurected father who only knows how to destroy and hurt others, and finally the scale which my biggest reason for loving this fight with everyone in ninjago seeing the green ninja not only battleing the ressurected garmadon but seen their strongest champion be destroyed both physically and emotionally. Love that moment so much

This fight scene was insane and I agree it was one of the best!! It’s my second favorite my favorite is the final battle. The only reason this one isn’t my favorite is because I can’t allow my favorite fight scene in Ninjago to allow lloyd to be whooped and absolutely destroyed by the villain lol 😭😂😂
There are a few things I like Day of the Departed for. The first is music. The second is one significant scene. But it was cut out of one version of the episode. Probably because it was too dark for a children's scene. It's about the scene where Cole is driving through the desert and suddenly he starts to hear his father's voice calling in his head. This scene showed how much Cole had withdrawn from the world of the living and was no longer just a "cursed living man", but really just the spirit of his being. People pray to their deceased family members, hoping that those in the afterlife hear their voices. So when Cole heard the voice for the first time since it became a ghost ... Yeah, a beautiful scene. My opinion- Cole DID died in this episode. Like 100% dead. BUT becose they cut this in one version, we cant confirm :
My only problems with Crystalized are the beginning where the ninja are split could’ve been a bit longer. And the end of it, Oni Lloyd could’ve had more screen time. Maybe a full fight with Harumi with that power before turning back on it bc I thought Harumi was kinda the trigger for it. The end was slightly rushed and could’ve shown more, felt like the 10 minute run time held it back as it technically was 15 full episodes which is shorter than some other seasons. Also, I don’t like March of the Oni, I felt the Oni were less threatening than the Crystal vengstone warriors and lack of depth. The golden weapons coming back felt too quick and overall felt felt rushed
If March of the Oni was as long as the other seasons instead of just four episode, the Oni would have probably been a lot more intimidating and threatening. And the season would have been more fleshed out similar to Sons of Garmadon and Hunted.

Although Hands of time is objectively better than many seasons you have put higher, such as The Island, March of Oni, Pilots, I still can't argue with you because you said it in very good way! Unlike many others who would say everything in that season is bad (villains, plot, Kai's parents story, literally every single detail from the season is critisized), you openly said story, villains were great, production was just weak and had problems and cuz of those things you couldn't put it higher! As a big S7 fan (it's my favourite season) I really appreciate and respect that! Haters should look up to you!
The season is really good, but like Tanner, it just didn't hit me. I'm also not that fan if Time Travel and all those things, so...yeah... But I understand when people like it
my favorite season is currently possesion, crystalized was so close if it wasnt for a few main things, i think it wouldve been cooler to have more interaction in the last few episodes and another thing that just bugged me was they left out a lot of elemental masters such as neuro, shade, smoke, turner, etc.

My favorite season is Skybound. Jay is my favorite ninja so I love how the season finally gives him more than being the 'funny guy' and the scenes between Jay and Nya in the season are so amazing. Nadakhan is a great villain. I love how he uses words instead of physical fighting. I don't hate the ending either. No one probably would have expected that, and it was also kind of foreshadowing the next season which was about time traveling. The only problem I have with the ending is the fact that no one remembered it and Jay's character development kind of got erased.
The best thing about skybound is that it has nothing wrong with it rather than being great. I find that a few seasons are slightly better than it, but it is fantastic.
Jay is also my favorite ninja but the writers sleep on his potential, cause lightning is (in my opinion) the strongest element out of the original 4, but jay only uses the same one move=electrocute someone. And some moves he only uses one time, but never after that ,like high speed/teleportation. They should add that again in a more balanced way. He also should get more moments where his intelligence is shown (he is a tech genius)
Season 6 is definitely top 3 if not the best because of JAY. The character development of jay in that season is too good, and i dont think any character could top that
Season 4 for me too, the season is just too fun and interesting yk. But crystalized is maybe 3rd i love how there was a little bit of everything from previous seasons tacked into crystalized making it feel satisfying to watch
I just like SoTFJ because of its improved animation. Some moments are good such Zane revealed to be a villain in the Ice Chapter, as well as Kai regaining his elemental power.
My favorite seasons are master of the mountain and seabound. I enjoyed seeing that Nya and Cole inherited their powers from their mothers and seeing that Nya's mother was not there for her, Nya still listened and realized that her mother was right. And seeing that Cole too respected his mother and protected the weak, like his mother did for him. And the animation was fantastic and the storyline was emotional and happy all at the same time. The worst season to me are Rebooted, (Zane is my favorite character, but this just felt like a drama about Cole Nya and Jay's love triangle, which was weird, which we all knew Nya was in love with Jay. )
These will be the season i will always know, as i have to leave the story at some point. I love all of these seasons (even the bad ones because they still bring back memories). Can’t wait to see what next for me in my life, but i will always remember Ninjago
Season 13 was one of my favorite seasons I love how Cole was the main ninja, he is such a underated character and he deserved this season.I rank it at 2nd place. First place is season 15 because the the mom and daughter duo was so cool and Jay and Nya had a lot of funny moments.
Dude I laughed out loud when Jay was being suffocated by the water trapped in his lungs and Nya said a tearful goodbye as he was barely conscious and left to sacrifice herself to save him.

S9 was my favorite season but now it’s crystallized I just love it only one complain I wished Lloyd used his uni form combined with the golden ultra dragon to defeat the overlord but otherwise perfect and outstanding season better finale then s2 (In my opinion the final battle in s2 is one of Ninjagos greatest moments)
Personally, my favorite season is the Pilot; I don't think I'll ever forget that first Tornado of Creation. As much as I love the newer seasons and all the characters, the original four ninja will always be my favorite.
Crystalized might have not been the best Conclusion Season out there But I still really Enjoy it! Everything building up to it is great, the dragon forms were awesome And Lloyds oni form Witch we saw for only a little was still great! Out of My rankings for seasons crystallized is in my top 5.

100% nostalgia. Character development is very good but the plot and conclusion is nothing compared to seasons like tournament, possession, hunted, or skybound.

And from what I remember it wasnt really that good. It was just boring. And I found myself really annoyed when the ninja "forgot cole". Like how do you forget about your so called brother? 16. Season wise, this is the worse. And I will never change this opinion. Unlike crystalized, the length of this season just doesnt work. The only thing good about the season is the animation and maybe a few fight scenes. But the two plots in one season, and the terrible attempt and giving kai and Zane focus, when it's their focus season. Lloyd has too much screentime, and I just dont really engage in the character that is akita. Both villains suck. The season is long and boring, and at some points just really irritating. 15. March of the oni. Tbh I disagree with alot of statements you said about this. It didnt at all feel like a finale to ninjago. And the climax was stupid untill the tornado scene. The season is also too short, and it has the worst main villain in the entire series. The Cole stuff was just bad. It wasnt even sad. Bringing back golden weapons was a nice touch however. And the relationship between lloyd and garmadon was fun to watch. Those few things are why I like it more than the previous installments. 14. The pilots, where everything began. Tbh I dont really find anything special about the pilots. I just find them more enjoyable to watch than the others. And it's what began the show so I gotta give it respect. 13. Tbh rebooted is overrated. We can all agree the worst thing about this season was the uneccasary and awkward love triangle. The pacing is terrible. The only special thing about this season is zanes sacrifice, which is completely reversed in the same episode. 12. Prime empire is amazing concept wise, but poor execution. And now that I think about it, it's just ready player one but with a video game villain, that isnt good villain wise, but great character wise. My favorite scene of the season was the fight between lloyd and avatar harumi. One of the best fight scenes in the whole show. The choreography is amazing. Detective Zane and pixal were a treasure. I didnt like any of the side characters. Okino is the only one I do like. 11. Hands of time is criminally underrated. The villains are great. The power of manipulating time was executed so well. The plot however did get stale pretty quickly. And the seasons didnt really pick up untill episode 8. Kai and nya meeting their parents I really loved. And this seasons soundtracks are amazing. 10. This is the most average a ninjago season can get. It's not that great, but it's still enjoyable to watch. Alot of people like to call the first half of the season filler, which I will never understand because it sets up the second half and season 3. And introduces characters that would return in later seasons. 9. Seabound (including the island) is a good season. However theres something about it that just doesnt stick with me. I feel like they could have done better with the story that was given. Nyas sacrifice felt more impactful than zanes, untill crystalized happened, but it also felt less sad and more rushed. They foreshadowed it, but they didnt really build it up. Kalmar is nice to see onscreen, but I still find him a pretty weak villain. And for some reason he just reminds me of disney. 8. Master of the mountain was a huge comeback for ninjago since the downfall of march if the oni. The villain itself isnt that great, but his music is. Vania is great. This season felt more dark than sog. The fact that they are using dead people to enslave tribes for years. And they did Cole so right. 7. Rise of the snakes has one of the best villains in the entire show. I love the equal focus and love each character are given. The serpentine are still the best ninjago army. I'm glad they stayed the entire show. Back when the villains armies werent just mindless beasts. 6. Sons of garmadon is more of a mature season ofcourse, but I wouldnt necessarily consider it "dark". And this is where the power level of the ninja really started to go downhill. The first season where I actually likes lloyd. Harumi is not only one of the best villains, but one of the best characters in ninjago. Although here motives and ideals are simplistic, their execution is perfection. She managed to be threatening and interesting villain while being powerless and weak. 5. Crystalized is the best wild brain season. It's the longest season in ninjago and that I am ok with. The overlord was slightly improved. And returning villains was great at first. But that went downhill rather quickly. There were many aspects if this season that bugged me alot. Many things could have been replaced to better progress the story. And the climax and ending I dont like. 4. Hunted, unlike sons of garmadon, actually IS a dark season. People hunting down and eating dragons. Iron baron, the more I look back, the more I actually enjoy him. Controlled his people by using fear and allegedly killed his followers for his own personal gain. Garmadon is still the best villain in the show. Infact he is my favorite character. This was lloyd best season aswell. He actually feels like hes grown up, untill wildbrain era. 3. Possesion is the darkest season in the whole show. The ninja have to literally fight dead people. Morro is a great villain. And his mission to have the living embodiment of hell consume the world. 2. I love skybound. Really unique villain. Jay is precious. I love the rising stakes throughout the season. 1. Tournament is just great at every aspect. The only bad thing is that It has a pretty anticlimactic finale.

Probably going to get beat up for this, but honestly, I felt nothing when I heard Nya sacrificed herself in Seabound. The reason is that right before the season ended they brought up how an elemental master of water sacrificed herself to defeat Wojira, and even though I heard about her sacrifice before I watched the season, I already knew for a fact they weren't going to commit to Nya being truly gone. Mostly because of that future scene in Possession. Heck, it was literally the second episode before they revealed Nya was alive, it should have been the end of the first quarter before they revealed it. Side note: I called that the masked man in season 16 was Harume and that the Crystal King was the Overlord.
My biggest Ninjago hot takes: Hands of Time is my favorite season because of all the integrated stories( especially Kai and Nyas), Kurd and Acronix, and I just have a lot of good memories with this season. Also, I think the new designs for the ninja was better for the show than the movie. The show would feel strange seeing the same designs for more than a decade.
I love rebooted, it's when I really started watching and understanding the series. Rise of the snakes was the first I watched and it was really cool, but I just love the last episodes of legacy of the green Ninja and rebooted. That is the most nostalgic Ninjago for me and after that it doesn't feel the same. Tournament of elements feels a little weird and I got really confused when there where so many elemental masters and they where never seen before, but hey I was younger back then
Same I liked all those four seasons even legacy of the green ninja was the first time I watched ninjago and the final battle was the best finale that's ever happened and I never realized that ninjago was almost ending about end after s2 until rebooted came it was kinda anticipated
I watched all of the seasons a few months ago and for me Rebooted was a bit boring. Rise of the snakes and legacy of the Green Ninja was was better because you learn the while Story of the Ninjas, loyd, Garmadon, zane who becomes a nindroid etc.

I have to say that seasons 3,4 and 5 were the golden era of ninjago imo. Rebooted is very underrated: the atmosphere was amazing, the overlord felt so much more threatening to me than in s2 and Zane's sacrifice (my fav ninja) is very well made. Tournament Of Elements: no explanation needed Possession: my fav season. I loved the villain, Cole being a ghost, the atmosphere, the outfits, Ronin,... pretty much everything.

when my boy anounced tourney of elements as his favorite season I went ballistic. I loved that season, the nostalgia and the quality made it so amazing
and not to mention that the intro of tournament is amazing. Also a side note, in the show human garmadon (at least i think so) never uses spin-jitsu but in S4 intro for a very short moment see him have a gray thornado

Bias as it is the most recent one I have watched but I loved crystallized. Crystallized had so many connections to previous seasons, so many plot twists. It played with my emotions a lot as well, the ULTRA DRAGON connection, them having to FOLD the paper, JUMP UP, KICK BACK, WHIP AROUND and SPIN connection. When I found out the overlord was coming back I thought that it would just be a rip off of S2/S3, even if you think it was it was incredible

*My list (I'm a huge fan of Jay & Nya, don't like the design changes after Hands of Time but they grew on me):* 18. Day Of The Departed (Not considered as a season in my opinion but a special, just filling the plot for letting Cole be normal again.) 17. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu (It's nice they gave Zane a new spotlight but the Fire part sucks and doesn't give Kai anything.) 16. The Island (Still confused on what really happened during this season, only the Kalmaar part was great.) 15. Sons of Garmadon (Why does Garmadon return after he was turned good after S2? Harumi was a nice villain.) 14. March of the Oni (Same problem than Sons of Garmadon but you see that they tried to get Ninjago a great ending for the fans.) 13. The Pilots (Although the backstory of some of the characters were weird to me at first, they were expanded and it grew on me.) 12. Hands Of Time (It's great they gave Kai & Nya's parents some backstory, he villains are okay but why is Wu trapped in time?) 11. Seabound (It's a sad ending and the development of Nya finally getting a proper spotlight is great but Kai, Cole & Zane are nowhere.) 10. Crystalized (The ending that March of the Oni tried to become, this was darker with the returning Harumi & overlord.) 9. Rise of the Snakes (Still gives me nostalgia, it's so funny seeing Lloyd being a kid compared to being a leader of the ninjas now.) 8. Legacy of the green ninja (They brought Ninjago to a new level, which gave it more backstory and maturity, which was needed.) 7. Rebooted (Zane was perfect in this season, the overlord still not gone gave us more backstory on Ninjago that Crystalized copied.) 6. Hunted (Different realms are a great dynamic I wished was earlier in the series, after we got Possession & Skybound.) 5. Master of the Mountain (It's great for Cole's backstory and a nice thing for Kirby Morrow, the voice of Cole.) 4. Prime Empire (I love video games and I love Jay & Nya so this gave me some great enjoyable moments and the villain is funny.) 3. Possession (Finally they brought Nya into the spotlight, after being more of a side character and Wu having a backstory is great.) 2. Tournament of Elements (I love tournaments and I like that there are more people with powers. Chen is also a great villain.) 1. Skybound (Nadakhan is the best villain, Nya & Jay finally kissed properly and the ninja being trapped in the sword was dark but nice.) Overall, I must say that I'm more a fan of the series before 2015. 2015 was the peak year imo, with Skybound the one and only season that I will watch from time to time. The characters list imo is Kai > Zane > Lloyd > Cole > Nya > Jay. The best villain is Nadakhan, from all power ups, I liked Airjitzu the most. I also think that the power of Amber is probably the most broken one, if you can save the previous powers when you touch a new person and that they don't fade when you touch someone without powers.

My top 3 is: 1. Possession (I love spooky stuff and cole turning into ghost and dealing with it was a nice plottwist for me and nya discovering that is she is the water ninja was the icing on top. In my opinion ninjago was at its peak with rebooted, tournament of elements, and possession. Great seasons, everyone got development, and the transition between them was epic and made so much sense.
I love how in crystalized, ninjas had to "jump up", "kick back", "whip around" and "spin" to reach their dragon form, what a connection! ❤️

My favorite season is sons of garmadon I love the darker tone it went for in this season. not one episode felt like that it wasn’t important for the season every episode was necessary and honestly just had the best story overall, and Lloyd is my favorite character cause I see a lot of myself in Lloyd and this just was the best Lloyd season. I really see no flaws with this season nothing of note anyway

to be honest my all time favorite fight scene from ninjago is lloyd vs garmadon in "true potential." This moment alone has everything I love in a major battle the music, which is my favorite in the series, the emotion, a battle between a boy who wants his father to remeber all and who he is and the ressurected father who only knows how to destroy and hurt others, and finally the scale which my biggest reason for loving this fight with everyone in ninjago seeing the green ninja not only battleing the ressurected garmadon but seen their strongest champion be destroyed both physically and emotionally. Love that moment so much

There are a few things I like Day of the Departed for. The first is music. The second is one significant scene. But it was cut out of one version of the episode. Probably because it was too dark for a children's scene. It's about the scene where Cole is driving through the desert and suddenly he starts to hear his father's voice calling in his head.
This scene showed how much Cole had withdrawn from the world of the living and was no longer just a "cursed living man", but really just the spirit of his being. People pray to their deceased family members, hoping that those in the afterlife hear their voices. So when Cole heard the voice for the first time since it became a ghost ... Yeah, a beautiful scene.
My opinion- Cole DID died in this episode. Like 100% dead. BUT becose they cut this in one version, we cant confirm :

My only problems with Crystalized are the beginning where the ninja are split could’ve been a bit longer. And the end of it, Oni Lloyd could’ve had more screen time. Maybe a full fight with Harumi with that power before turning back on it bc I thought Harumi was kinda the trigger for it. The end was slightly rushed and could’ve shown more, felt like the 10 minute run time held it back as it technically was 15 full episodes which is shorter than some other seasons. Also, I don’t like March of the Oni, I felt the Oni were less threatening than the Crystal vengstone warriors and lack of depth. The golden weapons coming back felt too quick and overall felt felt rushed

If March of the Oni was as long as the other seasons instead of just four episode, the Oni would have probably been a lot more intimidating and threatening. And the season would have been more fleshed out similar to Sons of Garmadon and Hunted.

While the other season’s ranks always change! I don’t hate any of them, but my opinion on how much I like them always change, But these are for sure my top 5 favorites!
I loved the Wojira fight in Seabound. One of the reasons is because it reminded me of one of my favorite final boss fights from Sonic, Perfect Chaos.
Although Hands of time is objectively better than many seasons you have put higher, such as The Island, March of Oni, Pilots, I still can't argue with you because you said it in very good way! Unlike many others who would say everything in that season is bad (villains, plot, Kai's parents story, literally every single detail from the season is critisized), you openly said story, villains were great, production was just weak and had problems and cuz of those things you couldn't put it higher! As a big S7 fan (it's my favourite season) I really appreciate and respect that! Haters should look up to you!

my favorite season is currently possesion, crystalized was so close if it wasnt for a few main things, i think it wouldve been cooler to have more interaction in the last few episodes and another thing that just bugged me was they left out a lot of elemental masters such as neuro, shade, smoke, turner, etc.
i stopped ninjago after skybound. possession was by far my favorite!! loved nya getting more progression and the ghosts thing was very cool.

My favorite season is Skybound. Jay is my favorite ninja so I love how the season finally gives him more than being the 'funny guy' and the scenes between Jay and Nya in the season are so amazing. Nadakhan is a great villain. I love how he uses words instead of physical fighting. I don't hate the ending either. No one probably would have expected that, and it was also kind of foreshadowing the next season which was about time traveling. The only problem I have with the ending is the fact that no one remembered it and Jay's character development kind of got erased.
The best thing about skybound is that it has nothing wrong with it rather than being great. I find that a few seasons are slightly better than it, but it is fantastic.
Jay is also my favorite ninja but the writers sleep on his potential, cause lightning is (in my opinion) the strongest element out of the original 4, but jay only uses the same one move=electrocute someone. And some moves he only uses one time, but never after that ,like high speed/teleportation. They should add that again in a more balanced way. He also should get more moments where his intelligence is shown (he is a tech genius)
Season 6 is definitely top 3 if not the best because of JAY. The character development of jay in that season is too good, and i dont think any character could top that

Everyone always seems to love Jay so much but he's easily my least favourite ninja along with Nya.
Season 4 for me too, the season is just too fun and interesting yk. But crystalized is maybe 3rd i love how there was a little bit of everything from previous seasons tacked into crystalized making it feel satisfying to watch

I just like SoTFJ because of its improved animation. Some moments are good such Zane revealed to be a villain in the Ice Chapter, as well as Kai regaining his elemental power.

My favorite seasons are master of the mountain and seabound. I enjoyed seeing that Nya and Cole inherited their powers from their mothers and seeing that Nya's mother was not there for her, Nya still listened and realized that her mother was right. And seeing that Cole too respected his mother and protected the weak, like his mother did for him. And the animation was fantastic and the storyline was emotional and happy all at the same time. The worst season to me are Rebooted, (Zane is my favorite character, but this just felt like a drama about Cole Nya and Jay's love triangle, which was weird, which we all knew Nya was in love with Jay. )
I want a spin-off of Ninjago in which Jay, Nya and their child are the main cast cause I think they have a very cute dynamic😊
These will be the season i will always know, as i have to leave the story at some point. I love all of these seasons (even the bad ones because they still bring back memories). Can’t wait to see what next for me in my life, but i will always remember Ninjago

Season 13 was one of my favorite seasons I love how Cole was the main ninja, he is such a underated character and he deserved this season.I rank it at 2nd place. First place is season 15 because the the mom and daughter duo was so cool and Jay and Nya had a lot of funny moments.

S9 was my favorite season but now it’s crystallized I just love it only one complain I wished Lloyd used his uni form combined with the golden ultra dragon to defeat the overlord but otherwise perfect and outstanding season better finale then s2 (In my opinion the final battle in s2 is one of Ninjagos greatest moments)

Personally, my favorite season is the Pilot; I don't think I'll ever forget that first Tornado of Creation. As much as I love the newer seasons and all the characters, the original four ninja will always be my favorite.
In my opinion The March of Oni (8-10 season), Crystallized and Seabound are cool . Yes,they are not perfect but are pretty awesome
Crystalized might have not been the best Conclusion Season out there But I still really Enjoy it! Everything building up to it is great, the dragon forms were awesome And Lloyds oni form Witch we saw for only a little was still great! Out of My rankings for seasons crystallized is in my top 5.

Reasoning.
17. I just never really found my self to watch day if the departed. And from what I remember it wasnt really that good. It was just boring. And I found myself really annoyed when the ninja "forgot cole". Like how do you forget about your so called brother?
16. Season wise, this is the worse. And I will never change this opinion. Unlike crystalized, the length of this season just doesnt work. The only thing good about the season is the animation and maybe a few fight scenes. But the two plots in one season, and the terrible attempt and giving kai and Zane focus, when it's their focus season. Lloyd has too much screentime, and I just dont really engage in the character that is akita. Both villains suck. The season is long and boring, and at some points just really irritating.
15. March of the oni. Tbh I disagree with alot of statements you said about this. It didnt at all feel like a finale to ninjago. And the climax was stupid untill the tornado scene. The season is also too short, and it has the worst main villain in the entire series. The Cole stuff was just bad. It wasnt even sad. Bringing back golden weapons was a nice touch however. And the relationship between lloyd and garmadon was fun to watch. Those few things are why I like it more than the previous installments.
14. The pilots, where everything began. Tbh I dont really find anything special about the pilots. I just find them more enjoyable to watch than the others. And it's what began the show so I gotta give it respect.
13. Tbh rebooted is overrated. We can all agree the worst thing about this season was the uneccasary and awkward love triangle. The pacing is terrible. The only special thing about this season is zanes sacrifice, which is completely reversed in the same episode.
12. Prime empire is amazing concept wise, but poor execution. And now that I think about it, it's just ready player one but with a video game villain, that isnt good villain wise, but great character wise. My favorite scene of the season was the fight between lloyd and avatar harumi. One of the best fight scenes in the whole show. The choreography is amazing. Detective Zane and pixal were a treasure. I didnt like any of the side characters. Okino is the only one I do like.
11. Hands of time is criminally underrated. The villains are great. The power of manipulating time was executed so well. The plot however did get stale pretty quickly. And the seasons didnt really pick up untill episode 8. Kai and nya meeting their parents I really loved. And this seasons soundtracks are amazing.
10. This is the most average a ninjago season can get. It's not that great, but it's still enjoyable to watch. Alot of people like to call the first half of the season filler, which I will never understand because it sets up the second half and season 3. And introduces characters that would return in later seasons.
9. Seabound (including the island) is a good season. However theres something about it that just doesnt stick with me. I feel like they could have done better with the story that was given. Nyas sacrifice felt more impactful than zanes, untill crystalized happened, but it also felt less sad and more rushed. They foreshadowed it, but they didnt really build it up. Kalmar is nice to see onscreen, but I still find him a pretty weak villain. And for some reason he just reminds me of disney.
8. Master of the mountain was a huge comeback for ninjago since the downfall of march if the oni. The villain itself isnt that great, but his music is. Vania is great. This season felt more dark than sog. The fact that they are using dead people to enslave tribes for years. And they did Cole so right.
7. Rise of the snakes has one of the best villains in the entire show. I love the equal focus and love each character are given. The serpentine are still the best ninjago army. I'm glad they stayed the entire show. Back when the villains armies werent just mindless beasts.
6. Sons of garmadon is more of a mature season ofcourse, but I wouldnt necessarily consider it "dark". And this is where the power level of the ninja really started to go downhill. The first season where I actually likes lloyd. Harumi is not only one of the best villains, but one of the best characters in ninjago. Although here motives and ideals are simplistic, their execution is perfection. She managed to be threatening and interesting villain while being powerless and weak.
5. Crystalized is the best wild brain season. It's the longest season in ninjago and that I am ok with. The overlord was slightly improved. And returning villains was great at first. But that went downhill rather quickly. There were many aspects if this season that bugged me alot. Many things could have been replaced to better progress the story. And the climax and ending I dont like.
4. Hunted, unlike sons of garmadon, actually IS a dark season. People hunting down and eating dragons. Iron baron, the more I look back, the more I actually enjoy him. Controlled his people by using fear and allegedly killed his followers for his own personal gain. Garmadon is still the best villain in the show. Infact he is my favorite character. This was lloyd best season aswell. He actually feels like hes grown up, untill wildbrain era.
3. Possesion is the darkest season in the whole show. The ninja have to literally fight dead people. Morro is a great villain. And his mission to have the living embodiment of hell consume the world.
2. I love skybound. Really unique villain. Jay is precious. I love the rising stakes throughout the season.
1. Tournament is just great at every aspect. The only bad thing is that It has a pretty anticlimactic finale.

Probably going to get beat up for this, but honestly, I felt nothing when I heard Nya sacrificed herself in Seabound. The reason is that right before the season ended they brought up how an elemental master of water sacrificed herself to defeat Wojira, and even though I heard about her sacrifice before I watched the season, I already knew for a fact they weren't going to commit to Nya being truly gone. Mostly because of that future scene in Possession.
Heck, it was literally the second episode before they revealed Nya was alive, it should have been the end of the first quarter before they revealed it.
Side note: I called that the masked man in season 16 was Harume and that the Crystal King was the Overlord.
I didn't feel sad about Nyas sacrifice unlike other people.
My biggest Ninjago hot takes: Hands of Time is my favorite season because of all the integrated stories( especially Kai and Nyas), Kurd and Acronix, and I just have a lot of good memories with this season. Also, I think the new designs for the ninja was better for the show than the movie. The show would feel strange seeing the same designs for more than a decade.

I love rebooted, it's when I really started watching and understanding the series. Rise of the snakes was the first I watched and it was really cool, but I just love the last episodes of legacy of the green Ninja and rebooted. That is the most nostalgic Ninjago for me and after that it doesn't feel the same. Tournament of elements feels a little weird and I got really confused when there where so many elemental masters and they where never seen before, but hey I was younger back then
Same I liked all those four seasons even legacy of the green ninja was the first time I watched ninjago and the final battle was the best finale that's ever happened and I never realized that ninjago was almost ending about end after s2 until rebooted came it was kinda anticipated
Season 1 is easily my favourite, things seemed more simplistic and it captured the essence of being a ninja.
I watched all of the seasons a few months ago and for me Rebooted was a bit boring. Rise of the snakes and legacy of the Green Ninja was was better because you learn the while Story of the Ninjas, loyd, Garmadon, zane who becomes a nindroid etc.

Ninjago seabound can go down with the saddest ending of a Ninjago season
Here’s my ranking (note: I don’t hate any Ninjago season this is ranked purely on how much I enjoyed one over others)
1. Crystalized (my overall favorite season)
2. The Oni and Dragon Trilogy (personally I’ve always thought of it as one big season but if I had to rank it separately it would go Sons of Garmadon, March of the Oni and then Hunted)
3. Hands of Time (I count Day of the Departed as apart of that season)

I have to say that seasons 3,4 and 5 were the golden era of ninjago imo.
Rebooted is very underrated: the atmosphere was amazing, the overlord felt so much more threatening to me than in s2 and Zane's sacrifice (my fav ninja) is very well made.
Tournament Of Elements: no explanation needed
Possession: my fav season. I loved the villain, Cole being a ghost, the atmosphere, the outfits, Ronin,... pretty much everything.

I am so happy Ninjago ended on a happy note, that no one died. I really didn't need a repeat of the end of Tales of Arcadia movie and series.
when my boy anounced tourney of elements as his favorite season I went ballistic. I loved that season, the nostalgia and the quality made it so amazing
and not to mention that the intro of tournament is amazing. Also a side note, in the show human garmadon (at least i think so) never uses spin-jitsu but in S4 intro for a very short moment see him have a gray thornado

Tournament of elements has always been my fav season because I just love elemental powers in general followed by seabound because it focuses on my fav ninja nya

Tournament of element is indeed the best a tournament between all elemental masters is a dream to come true

Bias as it is the most recent one I have watched but I loved crystallized. Crystallized had so many connections to previous seasons, so many plot twists. It played with my emotions a lot as well, the ULTRA DRAGON connection, them having to FOLD the paper, JUMP UP, KICK BACK, WHIP AROUND and SPIN connection. When I found out the overlord was coming back I thought that it would just be a rip off of S2/S3, even if you think it was it was incredible

Crystallized and March of the Oni are the best. They were intended as endings and for me, emotionally, these seasons were nailbiters.

Season 8 is good because the ninja are not so overpowered as they usually are. In that season they can lose fights if there are more enemies

18. Day Of The Departed (Not considered as a season in my opinion but a special, just filling the plot for letting Cole be normal again.)
17. Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu (It's nice they gave Zane a new spotlight but the Fire part sucks and doesn't give Kai anything.)
16. The Island (Still confused on what really happened during this season, only the Kalmaar part was great.)
15. Sons of Garmadon (Why does Garmadon return after he was turned good after S2? Harumi was a nice villain.)
14. March of the Oni (Same problem than Sons of Garmadon but you see that they tried to get Ninjago a great ending for the fans.)
13. The Pilots (Although the backstory of some of the characters were weird to me at first, they were expanded and it grew on me.)
12. Hands Of Time (It's great they gave Kai & Nya's parents some backstory, he villains are okay but why is Wu trapped in time?)
11. Seabound (It's a sad ending and the development of Nya finally getting a proper spotlight is great but Kai, Cole & Zane are nowhere.)
10. Crystalized (The ending that March of the Oni tried to become, this was darker with the returning Harumi & overlord.)
9. Rise of the Snakes (Still gives me nostalgia, it's so funny seeing Lloyd being a kid compared to being a leader of the ninjas now.)
8. Legacy of the green ninja (They brought Ninjago to a new level, which gave it more backstory and maturity, which was needed.)
7. Rebooted (Zane was perfect in this season, the overlord still not gone gave us more backstory on Ninjago that Crystalized copied.)
6. Hunted (Different realms are a great dynamic I wished was earlier in the series, after we got Possession & Skybound.)
5. Master of the Mountain (It's great for Cole's backstory and a nice thing for Kirby Morrow, the voice of Cole.)
4. Prime Empire (I love video games and I love Jay & Nya so this gave me some great enjoyable moments and the villain is funny.)
3. Possession (Finally they brought Nya into the spotlight, after being more of a side character and Wu having a backstory is great.)
2. Tournament of Elements (I love tournaments and I like that there are more people with powers. Chen is also a great villain.)
1. Skybound (Nadakhan is the best villain, Nya & Jay finally kissed properly and the ninja being trapped in the sword was dark but nice.)
Overall, I must say that I'm more a fan of the series before 2015. 2015 was the peak year imo, with Skybound the one and only season that I will watch from time to time. The characters list imo is Kai > Zane > Lloyd > Cole > Nya > Jay. The best villain is Nadakhan, from all power ups, I liked Airjitzu the most. I also think that the power of Amber is probably the most broken one, if you can save the previous powers when you touch a new person and that they don't fade when you touch someone without powers.

1. Possession (I love spooky stuff and cole turning into ghost and dealing with it was a nice plottwist for me and nya discovering that is she is the water ninja was the icing on top. She is my favorite character.)
