  • Hopefully this helps some of y’all. You need to take the grill off because of some clips holding the emblem in place from behind. Here’s what I used in the video:
    Emblem: www.amazon.com...
    Speed nuts: 3/8 from Lowe’s. www.lowes.com/...
    Flat screwdriver
    Rag
    Hairdryer and Credit card

Very helpful. My grill badge came in this morning and it was on by noon. I had to run to O'Reilly's and get some speed nuts. I got the thread cutting assortment, Dorman part no. 961-330D, and I used the 3/16" and it's not going anywhere! Your advice for the bottom clips was invaluable! Thanks!

Very good presentation. Very thorough in how and why he was performing the procedure . Reference to a time frame for the job would have been nice.

Can you send a quick web link for the 7/32" speed nut? I can't find it on the web? Can a #12 flat speed nut or just more smaller to clip on the plastic shaft work?

Did you try a #12 flat?

I used a 3/8 if I remember right. I would bring the emblem to the hardware store and find one that fits for sure
