Great video on replacement! This helped me a lot. But you should ALWAYS use new bolts for the LBJs. The LBJs are real pain points on these older Tundras and Sequoias and should be done around every 100k or when you notice that are a little loose. This is one of the parts you should always go OEM with. Yes, you will pay more, but all aftermarket balls joints are not great. Just look up what happens if your LBJ breaks while you're driving down the road. This is a main suspension component and your safety is on the line if you cheap out with LBJs.

I have run into issues removing old ball joints, and I think it's this: Soaking the ball joints in PB blaster may free up rusty parts, but also allows the spindle part of the joint to spin too freely, a major pain to remove. Seeing how you removed yours i'll try it out as im up for this very job next week. Update to follow- thanks

Good work ! What other potential problems should be inspected and/or addressed while having this all apart. Another words what else should be done while your at it?🤙🏼

Doesn’t look too difficult… take off put on. Should you get a wheel alignment after this??

+@mikelutts7088 Yes, we would recommend having a wheel alignment done.

I don't understand why all these how to fixed front end parts on toyota trucks start with removing the center cap I myself don't do it I just remove wheel with it on there

I'm not sure but I think you said 2 different sizes for the single nut underneath Ball Joint. 1st you say 24 mm. than when putting it back on you say 27 mm. But over all great tutorial. Thank you

Never reuse the old nuts/bolts. OEM parts only.
