Hey Andre & Lisa. Finally catching up from your very first video where it all started purchasing Millie. My wife and I are slowly catching up watching your incredible journey. Love your videos as not only are they incredibly informative but also beautifully shot and edited. As a photographer and avid traveller also, I fully appreciate the time that goes into creating your wonderful content. I just went back and liked all the videos we have watched as I had overlooked to do so and understand it helps you guys. Thanks again for continuing to produce these videos. We are on track with our plans to do the same in Europe for back to back years with trips home in the northern winter. All the best and look forward to watching more till we catch up to your current destination. Cheers! Dallas & Fiona
Hai Dallas & Fiona! Wow, after watching so many of our videos in a short time you guys should give us some notes! 😋 Hopefully we have improved some aspects along the way. Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, indeed it can be completely underappreciated as to how long it takes and how much effort is required to put a half decent video together. Especially if you do two a week (on the road) you don't have the luxury of spending forever perfecting every aspect... There's a reason why many 'travel' youtubers stop, it's a lot of work, it's a tough genre and you don't generate any income that can justify the time you spend. Just yesterday I said to Lisa we should stop filming, and her first reaction was "but how are we going to document our adventures?" 😂. Anyway, great to hear from you and it's wonderful that your travel plans are coming together. ❤
Hi Andre and Lisa! Yep loved watching them all! My only notes are positive! Great content as always, perfectly edited and good fun to watch. Love your work guys! @@WeWillNomad
That beach spot with the sheep was one of your best! I thought Albania was just full of stolen Mercedes Benz cars, how wrong, what nice people and good food. Hopefully Andres better now, best wishes from sunny England
🤣 Well, it's definitely full of Mercedes, whether they're stolen or not we can't say! 😜 It's a lovely country though, with so much beauty that we only scratched the surface of. We'll definitely return. 😊 Thanks for always "joining" us David!
@@WeWillNomad The good thing about you showing us the places you have been makes you think about where to avoid (boy racers) and where I'd like to stay longer, mountains and beaches always do it for me, throw in some decent ice cream and pastries and I'd probably never leave
@@savingelectric that's exactly our "problem"!! We could easily have spent longer than our 2 weeks just along the coast from Vlorë to Sarandë. And then there's still so much more! This trip is a bit exploratory to see where we would want to spend more time, but it's tough for us to keep that in mind and keep up the pace! We're slow travellers (or just old!) at heart! 😜
You have heard urban legrnds , but yes albania is full of mercedes because we love that german brand and as its said the germany is the place where a mercedes is born and albania is the plache where it dies .
Wow, how blue is that Sea. I'll be honest, I was a bit nervous when you were on that coastal road, but the views were amazing. That ferry was quite cool and the castle at the end was very peaceful looking. Safe travels.
Wow , the scenery there is incredible, and unspoiled by large scale development. I imagine you probably have to go inland to discover the real Albania. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Michelle! Some stretches of coast are completely unspoilt but others are full of giant high-rise hotels (Sarandë). Next time we'll explore more inland. 😊
We plan to go to Albania with our camper van in July. Can you recommend us some nice beaches we can park & enjoy the view? We want something off road. Thanks. Albania look amazing, can't wait
Hi and thanks for watching! That time of the year will be a bit more busy and it will depend on how capable your vehicle is offroad. Best would be to use Park4Night and check recent reviews of offroad spots. Enjoy your trip!
There is big chance when u drive llogara pass in albanian heat brakes will overheat and need replace . It happened 2 times to me. Summer temperatures getting 40+
Wooly Lisa ! not hairy or furry ! Just started watching, I have to say, I love when such strange random things like that happen. All of a sudden a load of shaggy sheep appear on the beach. Now for the rest of the video...
Great video. We've really enjoyed your Albanian travels. We feel your pain being ill in the van, our first week or so was a challenge as we both came down with heavy colds. Hope Andre is fighting fit now and the rest of your time in Albania is an adventure. 15 Euro for a campsite is great, it's a struggle staying under budget for us as we need to mostly stay local to our 'home' town while we have commitments. And that town is pretty much a tourist spot! I guess your new toilet helps massively with avoiding paid spots?
Oh no, not the best way to begin full-time vanlife 😞 But at least things can only get better after that! 😜 Campsites in Albania are wonderfully cheap (15 - 20 euro pn). But yes, you're right, our new toilet is an absolute game changer and we are SO happy that we made the change, definitely worth it to have the freedom to be off grid. 👍
Your van life is making your trip a bit hard actually! You were not in Saranda or Himare. You were quite far from both. Yes, there are supermarkets open in Saranda during off season but you were located in an area where there are only resorts and hotels. In Gjirokaster make sure you go inside town and visit the historic shopping cobblestone street where you will find a lot of hand made relics and souvenirs. Prepare for some uphill and downhill strolling.
Thanks, yes we will do that! Next time when we have more time we will try again to visit Himare and would also like to see Vuno. Thanks for watching! 😊
Great videos guys. I have been watching it so far. Unfortunately I have to leave a feedback! I find you Andre very negative about everything..sorry is just what I have seen so far. Lisa is brilliant. Is really boring watching you and listening at you. Is your attitude that I find it a bit rude.sorry is just what I think
Thanks Johny! As long as its constructive we appreciate all comments. Not sure anyone has ever called me rude, boring and negative in one sentence before 😉 Guess there's a first for everything. All the best.
Thanks. The thing is, when you travel full-time on a budget you can't pay to see everything or eat and drink everything. That's the choices we have to make.
What do you think about these beach spots in Albania? Would you have stayed longer? 🤔
Albania looks amazing.
It really is wonderful! Stunning scenery, excellent food and affordable! Thanks for watching! 😊
Albania will be very popular destination in the next decade, beautiful country 👍
It's definitely been growing as a popular destination in the last couple of year. The development in some areas is incredible.
It’s very beautiful country and not what I expected
Thanks for watching! Glad we could show you just a little bit of Albania! 😊
Wow thanks for showing us the beauty of Albania, hope you feel better soon André
Thanks Dani! Albania really is stunning! 😍

The rain is not a big problem for llogara pass but for camper vans like your the problem is when its the strong wind , it can overturn
Yes! When we stopped at the viewpoint the wind was intense!
