Hi Emily, Recently I got a stress fracture in my fourth metatarsal just from doing jump rope, but I’m inclined to believe it was because my toes weren’t as strong as I thought. I’m going to need to return to being able to play soccer and run track, but how should I proceed to preventing future stress fractures if I can’t even handle the forces of jump rope? Should I just do short foot exercises and calf raises with the ball between the heels? I’m just a little worried because I feel like without any ‘test’ I’ll have no idea when i’m ready to start playing again without worrying if I’ll get another stress fracture. Thank you
