- Here's the first 2024 Bennington 30QX we've delivered. Equipped with twin 450r's, we took this boat through the paces and were very impressed! The twin 450r's topped out at 67.9 mph. For reference twin Mercury 400's topped out at 62mph on a 28Q.
This boat was equipped with effectively every option, from the joystick controls, upgraded sound package, front bimini, and even a couple Bennington coolers. We are currently ordering 2024 Benningtons, with a 8-12 week order timeline. We'll take your boat off your hands now, and deliver your custom Benny when you want it in Spring. The price in gas to operate this beauty. Still my dream boat
We'd love to help make that dream a reality! Thank you for watching!
Only thing to make this boat better would be twin 500R's. Lol. That's cookin' for a toon.
They've discussed it, but for now, 500's need a tie-bar between (which defeats the aft entry to the water) and the performance on the single 500 was "just ok".
Have some respect for the people around you and get it quieter. Enough noisy crap on the lake.
Did you watch the video? The motors are virtually silent...
With 8 people with gear n coolers 55 to 58 Max that's alot of money for that money , looks nice
Thank you!
I wish the build quality was there I've captained a 2024 Bennington 25' with a single 400 mercury on the back and fit and finish and poor build quality has left much to be desired for the price tag I feel should be better things like super glue on the wrong side of the windshield above the glass that no one bothered to clean a side door that only opens inward but the side seat is in the way so the door is inoperable the logo trying to peel off the front door the flag pole holder on the back was Soo poorly screwed in it literally fell off the canvas top zipper has already broke in 3 places and is about to tear werr the top frame is and the cover that came with it is already starting to tear and the fuel line had a crack in it so it was sucking air and running poorly on a boat with 70 hrs on it
We have not experienced any of what you speak. Benny carries the best warranty in the industry and confident they'd cover all these issues. This boat is twin 400's and drove like a champ.
@@KellysPortOnline as a Bennington dealer would you like to take care of the warranty work?
@@Wilson02653 Yes, we offer Bennington warranty service. If the boat was not bought from Kelly's, we still do offer but it's kind of to the whim of when the service department has down time. Where was the boat purchased and where is it currently located?
so you pay mega collars for a piece of plywood on aluminum tubes and get NO HEAD ridiculous -- I had a 22 ft Lowe tri toon and it had a change room and a portable toilet - That was back in 2019
Cool story
Nahhh I’d get 2 Verado 600s 😂
We'll collect your check, brah
600s are Too big and heavy for this boat…twin mercury racing 500’s engines work well….84 mph with 500’s. 60’s are for bigger center consoles. The engines are 6 feet tall!
67mph with 2 x 450R’s just shows how inefficient a toon hull is. Same power on a 40’ cat can almost double that speed and handle rough water much better.
Yeah, but can you take more than five people? :)
Yeah, I never understood why the twin motors Are so slow? I live on a river That’s 50 miles long with over 20,000 boats on it a lot of pontoons, of course a lot of very high-end boats. I have a Bennington RSBW with a 250 on it that goes 46 miles an hour.
My buddies Bennington has a 350 on it that goes 54 miles an hour. I don’t see the point in buying what? A second $50,000 motor for 13 more miles an hour. Certainly not knocking it. It’s amazing! But the pontoons we see with twin motors are really not that impressive. We also see some with a single 450 on them. Those things move!
@@Maynardd joystick docking is a big deal - and, yes, there’s a degree of vanity to it, but you only live once
Price range for something like this?
Really depends upon the power. You can get a stock unit with base 300 Yamaha's for like $300k. The more HP, the more $$
@@KellysPortOnline
Wow. I could buy 3 38' Sea Ray Sundancers used in great condition for one of those pontoons. Crazy.
Yeah, enjoy the maintenance on all three of those ;) @@richr909
@@KellysPortOnline I owned one for 6 years. Had 400hrs on the engines/v drives. Only thing I changed was both fuel pumps in that time. Cost me $2k installed. Nothing else broke. And getting to overnight wherever I wanted while sleeping in the air conditioning with my girl was amazing. Oh overpriced barges can't do that. That's right.
@@richr909 cool story, thanks for sharing
What do you prefer, the Simrad or Garmin?
Garmin seems to be better customer feedback
Thank you for your reply - you confirmed my suspicions. @@KellysPortOnline
@@-2u2 our pleasure, it's just our opinion, but not sure if we're along. Biggest thing that Simrad could do - offer some nice online (TH-cam!!) :) instructions on how to use the product. Could help a lot.
Never Garmin !!!
